Mr. S. Manohar 's Marriage and  his Wife Dr. Helen Ebenezer, M.A, M.Phil. Ph.D  :    Mr. S. Manohar, B.E. I.R.S.S.E  married Ms.Dr. Helen  Ebenezer, M.A, Ph.D daughter of Mr. David  and  I think it will be appropriate to say some vital details  about Ms.  Helen Ebenezer Manohar .Ms Helen  Ebenezer after having passed her  B.A [ Economics { Madurai Kamaraj University]  pursued her M.A,[ Economics] at the famous Fathima College, Madurai [ 1978--1980 ] and passed her M.A[ Economics] in First Class. Then she pursued  her M.Phil [ Economics] .at the acclaimed  Madras Christian College [ 1987--1991 ] and passed her M.Phil .In line with her thirst for knowledge  she did her Ph.D [ Business Management Economics ] at the Madurai Kamaraj University [ 2008-- 2011] and the title of her  Ph.D Thesis was 'Performance of Southern Railway Towards Passenger Satisfaction "  and she passed her Ph.D meritoriously   Dr. Helen Ebenezer began her career as an Assistant Professor of  Economics at the famous Sarah Tucker College, Palayamkottai  and rose to the position of an Associate Professor and Deputy Head of the Economics Department and she served the Economics department of Sarah Tucker College for 30 years and 3 months [ July 1983-- Sept 2013 ] with great distinction.  Due to some personal reasons she resigned her job and joined the famous Gurunanak College in Madras as an Associate Professor of Economics and served in the college  efficaciously for 3 years  and eleven months [ September 2013-- July 2017 ] .Since her retirement in July 2017  she has been  living  in Delhi  with her husband  Mr. S. Manohar.

Mr. S. Manohar and Ms Helen Manohar Couple's Children  :  Mr. S. Manohar and Ms Helen Ebenezer Manohar couple is blessed with the following children namely ; [1]  Mr Edward Sudarson,  and he after having passed his B.E went to UK and pursued his M.S {Engineering] at the Liverpool University, U.K and passed his M.S [ Engineering]  and now  is working in a famous company in Bangalore  and [,2] Ms Annie Lamingada, B.E and currently she is working in a famous company in Bangalore. 

Professional Career  of Sri. S. Manohar, B.E, I.R.S.S.E      :  :After having passed his  B.E  degree Mr S. Manohar cleared the U.P.S.C  group I { IRSSE ]examination  and began  his professional career on the 25th October 1978 as a Probationary officer in the Signal department of the Indian Railways.  Afterwards there was no turning back till his retirement. In the Indian Railways  during the course of his long service he decorated some important offices  with distinction :- [1] Sr. Professor [ Signal & Telecommunication ] Railway Staff College, Vadodara, National Academy of Indian Railways [ Feb1996--July 2000] [2] OSD , Guntur division and ADRM, Vijayawada , South Central Railway Zone [ Aug 2000-- March 2003], [3] Chief Signal and Telecommunication Engineer, South Western Railway , Hubli, CHOD [ March 2003 --March 2007] , [4]  Divisional Railway Manager / Guntakal, South Central Railway [ March 2007 -- Oct 2008 ], [5]Chief Signal and Communication Engineer, South Western Railway / Hubli  [ Oct 2008 -- Oct 2009 ] , [6] Chief Signal and Communication Engineer , Southern Railway , Chennai [ Sept 2009 -- November 2014], , {7] Indian  Railway Board's  Additional Member for Telecom and Signal and  Ex- officio  Special Secretary to the Government of India [ Nov 2014-- Nov 2015 ].  As  Railway Board's Additional Member for  Signal and Telecom department Mr. S.  Manohar, B.E, I.R.S.S.E  was the Administrative Head of the Signal and Telecommunication department  of\Indian Railways.. His official responsibility was to assist the Railway Board in Policy formulation and Planning, execution of various Signal and Telecommunication works of the Indian Railway and  to assist Railway Ministry during the Parliamentary session , conduct of National and International Seminars etc.  And after a long and enviable service in the Indian Railways  Mr. S. Manohar  retired as a Secretary to the Government of India 

Conclusion   : Mr S. Manohar is a remarkable man  and his reach to  eminent and august  places and positions in the Indian Railways deserves our spontaneous admiration and applause..No doubt he served as a Catalyst  to bring constructive changes in the Signalling and Telecommunication department  of the Indian Railways and his contribution to make Indian railway Signalling easier and reliable will be  remembered for many many years  He was very intelligent, unassuming, humane, industrious, innovative, bold and honest  His life and achievement  will galvanise our youth with new hope and vision.  It is not possible to cover all the aspects and details of Mr. S. Manohar's prolific life in this Article .  He boldly crossed many cross roads and bottle necks with courage and reached great peaks in  life and has become an illustrious model to many  He served the Nation and its people with dedication, devotion by discharging his official duties  with great efficacy , commitment and honesty .  I will call Mr .S. Introduction   : Indian Railway Board's  Former Additional Member [ Signal and Telecom  ] and Rtd  Secretary to the Government of India  Sri. S. Manohar, B.E, HAG / I.R.S.S.E, is really a remarkable  and galvanising milestone in the history of Indian Railways.   His phenomenal rise to enviable and eminent positions  in the Indian Railways make us to look at him with awe. His awesome and innovative contribution for the development and modernisation of the Signal and Communication Department of Indian Railways deserves our applause and admiration . His prolific profile will inspire and motivate  many youth and specially the rural youth with positive  desire to dream high and  reach eminent and enviable places in life

Mr. S. Manohar's Parents and Birth   :    Mr. S. Manohar's  father late  Mr. Subbiah,  hailed from the historical Kulasekarapattinam [ Kulasekaran Pattinam ] village and Kulasekarapattinam lies on the Coromandel coast in Udangudi Block in Tutucorin district. During the first century A.D.  Kulasekarapattinam was flouring as an important Port .The name  Kulasekarapattinam  is derived from  the Pandiyan king Maravarman Kulasekarapandian 1.   It would be apt to remember a fact that Kulasekarapatinam has produced  some noteworthy high ranking Government officials, famous medical doctors, bishops, businessmen,etc. Mr. Subbiah was working in the Revenue Department, Govt of Tamil Nadu and retired as Special Tahsildar . Mr. Subbiah was married to Ms Anna Lakshmi and she was a native of  the historical Manapad village located near Tiruchendur.  Ms Lakshmi was a trained teacher but she lived as a house wife . Mr. Subbiah and Ms.Anna Lakshmi Subbiah couple gave birth to Mr S. Manohar on the 14th November 1955  at Manapad.  

Mr. S. Manohar's Siblings : Mr Subbiah and Ms. Anna Lakshmi Subbiah couple gave birth to the following children namely : [1]  Dr. S. Sunder Singh Baliah, B.Sc, M.B.B.S, D.L.O and he was married to Ms Dr Padmavathy , M.B.B.S, D.D. and both of them worked as Government Doctors and after long service they  retired from Govt service  in the grade of Civil Surgeons  [2]  Ms Santha Veda Singh M.A, B.Ed,  and she worked as a PG Teacher and now retired and her husband Mr Vethasingh, B.Sc, B,L  is an Advocate after having worked as a Legal officer in the Banking sector in Kuwait and Bahrain he returned to his native place and now he is working as a freelance Advocate in Tirunelveli , [3]  Mr. S. Manohar, B.E, H.A.G /  I.R.S.S.E [ He is the Hero of this Article ], [4]  Prof. Dr. S. Guna Sekar, M.B.B.S, D.O, and he worked as a Professor in the Ophthamology Department,  Kilpauk Government  Medical College Hospital  and now he is retired .He is unmarried [5] Mr S.T. Rajan, M.Sc, B.Ed  and his wife Ms. Pon Mekala  Rajan M.C.A  are currently working as a PG Assistants at a private Higher Secondary School at Thisayanvillai. in Tirunelveli district and  [6]    Ms. Jeya Jothy, B.Pharm  and she is working as a  Pharmacist in the Medical Department ,Tamil Nadu Government and her husband Mr Jeevanandam runs his own Pharmacy at his  Doctor Brother's Hospital.    

Mr . S. Manohar's Educational Track   :.  Like his brilliant siblings Mr.S. Manohar  was also a studious and brilliant student since his Elementary School days . He did his Schooling at the famous St John's Higher Secondary School, at Palayamcottah . After having secured very high marks in his Plus Two Examination he pursued his B,E [ Electronics and Communications } degree course at the prestigious Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology at Karaikudi , Madurai Kamaraj University  [1972- 1977 ] and passed his B.E  with flying colours .. In addition  by doing some training programs Mr. S. Manohar  updated and upgraded his professional skill and efficiency

Union Life  and Professional Career of Mr. Wesley Mohan Roy   :  After completing his ab initio Training at the CATC, Allahabad , Mr Wesley Mohan Roy was posted at Madurai Airport for a short span of time and after that he was transferred to Vijayawada .At Vijayawada Mr Wesley Roy started his  Union career by becoming the President of the Local Employees Union of the Vijayawada Airport.  Again he was transferred to Madurai Airport in 1971 , where he was elected as the Branch Secretary of the Madurai Airport Employees Union. In 1974 he was transferred to Madras Airport and here at Madras Airport he contested for the post of the Southern Regional Secretary of Airports Authority India's Employees Union [AAEU}and won the election. Mr Wesley Roy held this Post for two decades before becoming an Aerodrome Officer in 1990.  Here again his innate and proved leadership qualities enabled him to assume the Post of the Southern  Regional Secretary of the Air Traffic Controllers Guild  and he continued in this Post till his premature demise in 2001

Mr Wesley Mohan Roy as Union leader was known not only for his fiery, powerful  and convincing  speeches but also for his empathy for the cause of the underdog. Even though he rubbed shoulders with the top echelons of the Management he allotted time to visit the houses of the bottom level employees  of the Organisation and redressed their problems with earnest human concern. He never failed  to take part in the family functions of the bottom level employees. Even though externally Mr Wesley Mohan Roy  looked very tough and rough  he had a soft  Mother Teresa kind of compassionate heart.

Mr. Wesley Roy's Church Related Activities and Life   :  .    Right from his childhood days at the American Advent Mission  Mr Wesley Roy was very active in the youth activities of the Church.  When Carmel Gospel Mission was formed in 1969 by a splinter group of the American Advent Group Mr. Wesley Roy served diligently for many years as the General Secretary of the  Carmel Gospel Mission.  In  later years he became  a Lay Preacher at the C.S.I St. Marks Church at Salaiyur, Chennai. His favourite subject of his sermons was Repentance. He reflected christian values and principles in his daily life  since his childhood days. . As a fluent orator both in English and Tamil he won the hearts of the listeners and convinced them about the importance of real repentance. He was a Pastorate Committee member for many terms in the face of formidable odds . 

Conclusion       :  Heartless death snatched away our dear Mr Wesley Mohan Roy from this world in the year 2001. He was a towering personality with lofty ideas and ideals . He lived his life with a mission and vision.   He achieved greatness in life. . He was a multifaceted personality, he was a great organiser, good Samaritan, eloquent and convincing speaker both in English and Tamil. A man who was known  for his down to earth attitude and qualities.  Mr Wesley Mohan Roy rubbed shoulders with the top level managers and manual labourers without any discrimination. He was an extraordinary Trade Union leader.  It is said that if we want to know a person correctly we should know their friends and Mr Wesley Mohan Roy enjoyed the friendship of some great and eminent persons of his time . His close friends were namely: Prof. Dr. Dayanandan, { HOD, Botany, MCC ], Dr. Julius karunakaran [ Former Prof-- MCC & Bishop Heber College Trichy and Founder of Christian Eye Hospital Trust],Captain Dhavakumar[ Former GM for Operations , Indian Airlines], Mr. Kambar Prabhakar [ Manager Personnel & Administration],  late Mr. Ananda Ranjana Doss [ Former Member Operations- C.M.D.A ] and Mr D. Arumugam [ Former President Indian Airlines SC&ST Association. ]. All of his friends, colleagues, superior officers and Union members  loved and   respected Mr Wesley Mohan Roy for his great abilities, amiable traits  and noble qualities.   As a mark of respect and love thousands of people from various walks of life  participated in  his funeral procession.  Mr. Wesley Mohan Roy could not realise all his  goals and  aspirations  because of his unkind premature death but we can say that his sons will  try their best to realise the egalitarian goals of their beloved Dad. Mr. Wesley Mohan Roy's  Educational Track and His College Days :  Mr Wesley Mohan Roy  was  a studious and intelligent  student since his Primary School days .  He did his Schooling at the then Corley High  School [ Methodist ] at East Tambaram. After having passed his S.S.L.C , Mr. Wesley  joined the famous Madras Christian college to do his P.U.C in the year 1959.  After having passed his P.U.C he pursued his B.A [ Economics] in the Madras Christian College and successfully completed his B.A[ Economics].  During his College days  at Madras Christian College, Ms Wesley  was a popular student and  he was an avid and efficient Footballer. He played for the Madras Christian  College Team and was a Local hero for his fans and many local Football teams vied to get him to play for their Team. He also played League Football,with Ashley Bitts 11 Div and with  Sporting Youngsters a 1 Div team. He was known for his enduring stamina active throughout the game from the start to finish off the field . He was known for his impeccable sense of dressing within the limited means he had and most importantly for his impish franks.  His friends till this day cannot resist a smile when they reminisce about Wesley and his  mischievous adventures in College. One of his favourite pastimes was to entertain his friends with funny lyrics set to Baila tunes. The very cosmopolitan makeup of the M.C.C campus played a pivotal role in shaping his outlook in life and in imbuing a sense of confidence and leadership quality that he exhibited later in life

After his fascination for Football he had a great love for flying  and  so Mr. Wesley Mohan Roy joined the Air Wing of the National Cadet Corps  [ N.C.C] unit of the M.C.C.  He loved Gliding also so much and frequently he was absent from the classes on account of his Gliding practices.. So one of his Professors told Wesley's friend " Tell Wesley not to glide in the examination " .After graduating in Economics he longed to take up Flying as his career but his impecunious condition and the impending compelling need to support his parents in running the large family forced and convinced him to abandon his cherished dream ..

Mr. Wesley Roy began his Professional career    : Mr Wesley Mohan Roy began  his career as a Teacher but the income he got from the teaching job was inadequate to meet his financial needs and so he wrote and passed the Entrance Exam needed to get a job in the  Civil Aviation Department in 1968. and joined the Civil Aviation Department as Grade I Aerodrome Operator.. His batchmates and he were sent to the Civil Aviation College at Allahabad for their ab initio training.  After completing his Abinitio Training at the CATC, Allahabad, Mr. Wesley Mohan Roy was posted at the Madras Airport for a short span of time and afterwards he was transferred to Vijayawada   Thus he began his career in the Civil Aviation Department, Govt of India

Mr. Wesley Mohan Roy's Marriage  and his Wife's family    : Mr . S. Wesley Mohan Roy was married to Ms. Mercy Hannah Rajakumari, daughter of late Mr. Abel Sugunaraj and Mrs. Karuna Sugunaraj  on the 5th May 1972..It would be appropriate and useful to say here a few lines about Ms Mercy Hannah Roy's parents and family . Mr  Abel Sugunaraj  retired from the British Shipping Conglomerate " Gordon Woodroffe "  and was an accomplished Musician also. Unfortunately Ms Karuna Sugunaraj passed away within a few days after her daughter Ms.Mercy was born and the  baby Mercy was brought up by her grandparents and Aunt Mrs. Grace.  Mrs Karuna Abel Sugunaraj hailed from Shoranur village in kerala and she was the sister of Ms Grace Santiago , daughter in law of  Rev. V. Santiago,[ Moderator of the S.I.U.C and Tamil Christian Poet ]. Ms Mercy was a disciplinarian and retired as a Post Graduate [P.G] Teacher in 2005 and  she was very active in  Church activities as a Member of the Local Pastorate committee for many terms.

Mr. Wesley Roy and Ms Mercy Roy Couple's Children : Mr Wesley Mohan Roy was known for his integrity,valour, kindness and integrity and Ms Mercy Roy was known for her piety, modesty and submissive coyness  and God blessed this couple and the couple gave birth to the following two sons namely : [1] Mr. Jabez Pradeep Roy and he  worked for Air India till 2011 and currently works for the famous Cognizant Technology Solutions.  He is an avid Musician also and is the Trumpeter for the Madras Musical Association , Symphony Orchestra. Mr.Jabez Roys' wife  Ms Nancy Clotilda [ M.Phil in Statistics works as Manager [ Process Consultancy & Del ] with C.T.S . Mr. Jabez Roy and Ms Nancy Jabez Roy  couple is blessed with a lovely daughter by name Ms. Nithila Roy she is in class V, [2] Mr. Wesley Mohan  Roy couple's younger son Mr Morris Romel Roy like his dad, served as  Chairman of the Madras Christian College Union Society  [ 1996--1997 ] before joining the Airports Authority of India and assuming charge as the Regional Secretary of the Union in 2009.. Morris Roy currently resides in Muscat where his wife Ms Deena Priyadharshini , Ph.D  teaches logistics and Supply Chain Management at the Middle East College. . This couple is blessed with two children namely : [1]Mr Wesley Nathaniel Roy [Class XII ] and Mr Jason Danniel Roy [ Class VII ].

Mr Wesley Mohan Roy's  Worthy Nephews and Nieces   : No doubt late Mr Wesley Mohan Roy was a blessed man in all sense of the word. Mr Wesley Mohan Roy's Parents and his Birth   : Many  decades ago there lived an educated gentleman by name Mr Sundaram who hailed originally from a rural village called kristhavakandigai, Mevalurkuppam, kanchipuram district and he was living with his modest wife Mrs. Rosemary Sundaram in Velachery, Chennai [ Madras ].   Mr. Sundaram who lost his father at an early stage was educated at the Wesleyan Boys Home at  St. Thomas Mount. After having successfully completed his school education  Sri. Sundaram served as a Head Master in American Advent Mission Schools in and around Madras and he was remembered for being a strict disciplinarian. He used to visit his students at their houses after school hours to enquire about their studies and also to instruct them to wash their uniforms Mr Sundaram was having real empathy for the cause of the poor illiterate children.  He longed to remove the illiteracy and ignorance of the poor children but to realise his goal he needed money. So he used to stage Plays/ Dramas to collect funds for educating the poor rural children. .Mr Sundaram's wife Ms Rosemary Sundaram also served as a  Teacher  at the A.A.M Schools. Ms Rosemary Sundaram hailed from Vallam village near Chengalpattu taluk, Kanchipuram district.   Mr Sundaram and Mrs Rosemary Sundaram couple gave birth to Mr Wesley Mohan Roy on the 1st of May 1943.   As Mr. Sundaram  studied at the Wesleyan Boys Home he named his first born son as Wesley Mohan Roy

Mr. I. Jayasingh Manoharan's Wife Ms Dr. Paul Teresa Hemalatha Manoharan and Her Family   :  According to Mr .I. Jayasingh Manoharan  his wife Dr. Paul Teresa Hemalatha Manoharn is the woman behind his success in life.  Dr. Paul Teresa Hemalatha  hails from an educated, rich and God fearing Christian family. Her father Mr Soosainathan Paul's parents were natives of  Pondichery,  but they moved to Malaysia to earn more wealth. Mr Soosainathan Paul  was born and brought up in Malaysia. Mr Soosainathan Paul's father owned a famous and big Pharmaceutical company in Malaysia and that was one among the four famous  Pharmaceutical companies  in the world before the World War II. Mr Soosainathan Paul in line with his strong aspiration married a Tamil Girl by name Ms Lilly from Kankeyam, and went back to Malaysia with his wife.  But Ms Lilly Soosainathan Paul  could not cope up with the Malaysian culture and so she influenced her husband to return to Tamil Nadu against the will of her in laws. Mr Soosainathan Paul agreed to the plan of his wife and at the heavy cost of forgoing all his rights of inheritance Mr Soosainathan Paul reached Chennai [ Madras ] with his wife. He started his career as a Medical Representative with the famous Glaxo Pharmaceuticals company .Mr. Soosainathan Paul and Ms Lilly Soosainathan Paul couple is blessed with four children  including Ms Paul Teresa Hemalatha. and she is the third child to her parents  Due to some professional reasons and family situations Mr Soosainathan Paul settled at S,S, Colony in Madurai with his wife and children.  .

Ms. Dr. Paul Teresa Hemalatha's  Educational Track  :  Ms Paul Teresa Hemalatha was a brilliant student since her Primary School days.. As her family had link with Pharmaceutical business, she wanted to become a Medical Doctor and worked hard to achieve that goal. But in spite of her high marks in her P.U.C she could not get  admission for M.B.B.S. medical course and so  she pursued her B.Sc [Zoolgy] at the famous Fathima College in Madurai and passed her B.Sc with University rank.  So easily she got admission for M.B.B.S  course under graduate quota. She passed her M.B.B.S course meritoriously and got a Rotary International Scholarship to do her Post Graduate fellowship in Cardiology anywhere in the world.  But in order to marry Mr. I. Jayasingh Manoharan she forsook the offer made by the Rotary International. Nonetheless the Rotary International was kind enough to renew her educational Scholarship in 1990 and she left India to pursue her higher studies in Adult Cardiology  [ F.C.C.P ].in St. Luke's College of Medicine in Manila, after their son Vinson's  first Birthday. In Manila she excelled in her studies and won the appreciation from everyone. After having completed her Fellowship studies successfully she returned to Chennai, Tamil Nadu.. Dr. Paul Teresa, B.Sc, M.B.B.S, F.C.C.P after having worked with some leading Cardiologists in Chennai, she started her own diagnostic Center called "Teresa Scans" doing Echo cardiogram and Ultrasounds Tests and this Teresa Scan Center  has been  serving the medical cause of the people in an efficacious and humane manner.

Mr . Jayasingh Manoharan and Ms Dr. Paul Teresa Hemalatha couple's Children   : Mr. Jayasingh Manoharan and Ms Dr. Paul Teresa Hemalatha Manoharan couple  gave birth to  a male Child on 9th March 1989 and they christened their first born male child as Izhar Vinson Iyapillai [ Izhar = A descendant of Judha,  Vinson = An American Jurist and Iyapillai = Jayasinagh Manoharan's father's name] . Currently  Dr. Izhar Vinson Iyapillai, M.B.B.S, M.S is working as an Assistant Professor of Surgery in Sri Satya Sai Medical College and Research Institute at Thiruporur in the outskirts of Chennai. Dr. Izhar Vinson Iyapillai's wife Dr. Vinola Fernandez Vinson, M.B.B.S would be completing her M.D in Pathology by April 2022. Mr Jayasingh Manoharan and Ms.Dr. Paul Teresa Hemalatha couple's daughter Ms Themis Vanessa was born on the 6th October, 1993.  The sorrow brought to the family by the death of Mr Jayasingh Manoharan's dear mother in February 1993 was compensated  by the birth/arrival of their daughter Themis Vanessa in October 1993. So Mr Jayasingh Manoharan couple  named their daughter as Themis Vanessa [ Themis is the name of the Greek Goddess of law and justice and Vanessa for Devanesam ]. Ms Themis Vanessa is really a colourful creative personality with many talents.  It would be quite appropriate to say a few lines about Ms Themis Vanessa . Ms . J. Themis Vanessa  after having received her Bachelor of Design degree from the famous National Institute of Fashion Technology in Chennai, currently is working as a Costume Designer in the Tamil Film Industry in Chennai. Ms Themis Vanessa had already worked as Costume Designer  in some  popular movies like , " Remo" and " Velaikakaran " and in both of these films the famous actor Mr Siva kaarthikeyan had acted in the lead role .  She also had worked as Costume Designer for the film  "Mara " in this film the veteran Actor Mr Mathavan was the hero. In addition Ms Themis Vanessa had done a couple of Tale Films and Ad Films too. She also had the privilege to work as Costume Designer for the much expected movie " Ponniyin Selvan " [ Kalki ]  directed by the ace Cinema  Director Mr. Maniretnam;  and this Movie is believed to be in post production stage now. Of course we all can be proud this promising and brilliant  Costume Designer Ms Themis Vanessa  and  surely she will reach greater heights and places in her profession 

Mr. I  Jayasing Manoharan's  Higher Education     : While Mr Jayasingh Manoharan was serving in the Southern region of the Airports Authority of India , he pursued and passed  his  Master of Labour Laws[ M.L.S] course and Master of Law [ M.L] course and also obtained his Master of Philosophy degree [M. Phil ]. 

Mr. Jayasingh Manoharan was promoted as the General Manager [ Law ] of the Airports Authoraity of India  : Mr . Jayasingh Manoharan was promoted and transferred in 2009 to Guwahati  as the Head of the Law Department of the North Eastern region of the Airports Authority of India. In 2011 he moved to Mumbai and assumed charge as the Joint General Manger [ Law] of the Airports Authority of India  for the Western region  comprising of all the  Airports in  the Western States of India.  In each post he proved his efficacy and did justice to his official responsibilities.  Finally he was promoted as the General Manager [ Law] of the Airports Authority of India and he assumed charge as the General Manager [ Law ] for all the Airports in India in 2012 . He had been discharging  his official duties with great efficiency concern and commitment till his superannuation in May 2015. 

Conclusion   :   : .Former General Manager [ Law] of  Airports Authority of India Sri. I. Jayasingh Manoharan is really a remarkable personality.  He is smart, intelligent and very bold.  His thirst for knowledge and his audacity of hope  deserve our attention and appreciation .  By virtue of his august post he had the privilege to rub shoulders with many eminent persons, V.I.Ps , and high ranking government officials. He  also had the privilege to interact with the top Law Officers of the country like Attorney General of India , Solicitor General of India and Advocate generals of almost all the states in India.. Mr Jayasingh Manoharan had directly defended the A.A.I in almost 65 to 70 Arbitrations both commercial and engineering related subjects involving multi crores of rupees. He has proved himself as a grateful son to his parents, an ideal husband to his wife  and a galvanising father to his worthy children. In his stint as General Manager [Law] of  Airports Authority of India he represented Airports.Authority of India in many meetings of the then Planning Commission and also in many bipartite and tripartite discussions on Aviation Law, Airport Development and Airport Management,  held both in the Civil Aviation Ministry and the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt of India. After having superannuated in May 2015 he promptly revived his enrolment in the Bar Council and resumed his legal profession in the Madras High Court happily wearing the neck band over the collar of his white shirt and the black robes on his shoulders and has hopefully stepped into the field of legal practice once again for the second innings.  We wish him all the  success. I would like to confine  Mr. I. Jayasingh Manoharan  in one word , and I will call him " A Blessed Man ".

A Leading Madras High Court Lawyer, Expert in Labour Laws and Former General Manager [ LAW ] of Airports Authority of India Sri. I. Jayasingh Manoharan, B.Sc [ Physics], B.L, M.L.S, M.L. M.Phil ..Part B

Mr . Jayasingh Manoharan started his Legal career as a Junior Practising Lawyer     :    After having passed his B.L examination Mr Jayasingh Manoharan enrolled himself as an Advocate in the year 1980 and  started his legal professional career as a Junior Practising Lawyer in the District Court of Kanyakumari district at Nagercoil, under one of the then leading Civil lawyers in Kanyakumari district by name Mr K.P Narayanan Nair.  As the youngest child of the family Mr. Jayasingh  Manoharan was a darling son to his parents and a beloved brother to his siblings and naturally his parents and brothers provided enough money to him to meet his luxurious life, and so as an young man he did not take his legal profession seriously in those days. Moreover he opted to get a job that will guarantee him a regular monthly income and so he started to prepare himself  for bank job

He Got a Job in the State Bank of Travancore   :  Mr. Jayasingh Manoharan got a job in the State Bank of Travancore  and was posted in its branch at Kozhencherry near Thiruvalla in Kerala State . Even though he assumed charge of his job in this bank with enthusiasm he could not continue in this job for long and so he resigned his promising bank job and came back to his home .

He Moved to Nigeria   :  Mr I. Jayasingh Manoharan  within one year with help of his friend got a teaching job in Nigeria and so he went to Nigeria and took up the job of teaching Physics and Additional Mathematics for the , "A" Level students of the OYO State of Nigeria, and preparing the students for the West African Educational Council Examination ;  However after 2 years he did not renew his Contract and left Nigeria. On his way back home he visited the beautiful  Paris city and spent one week and then he visited the magnificent city of  London  and stayed in London for one  month by spending  major portion of his two year savings he made in Nigeria and afterwards he returned to his lovely native village Arasankuzhi. After reaching Arasankuzhi he resumed his legal profession again . 

His Father died in 1984 that made all the difference in his Life :    In the year 1984 his beloved father Sri Iyapillai died unexpectedly and his dad's death affected him so much and he was forced to plan for his future. He realised and understood the  necessity of self  earning for self standing and self respect. He started to act in line with his new determination  and began to concentrate on his legal profession with real commitment .He started to watch the court proceedings and listened each conversation of the Senior lawyers in the Nageracoil Bar Association. However he found it difficult  to develop a spontaneous love for his legal profession . So he started to focus his attention on Group 1 or Group 11 level jobs in the Government. By this time the Madurai Kamaraj University introduced a Post Graduate Diploma course in Personnel Management and Industrial Relation which was considered equal to MBA . He did this course at the S.T. Hindu College and passed this PG diploma course with flying  colours.. Then he prepared and appeared for all the competitive examinations for executive jobs both in State and Central Service

Mr I. Jayasingh Manoharan  became the first  Law Officer  of the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board :   : In 1987 the Tamil Nadu  Government newly formed "Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board" and the T.N Govt advertised for a suitable Law officer for the newly formed Board . Mr Jayasingh Manoharan applied for this post and he emerged successful and became the first Law Officer of the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board. This  new powerful Government job filled his mind with joy and confidence, while he was working as the Law Officer of the T.N State Pollution Control Board he had the privilege of interacting with the top level bureaucrats of the Govt of Tamil Nadu .  Even he had the privilege of meeting the then Honourable Chief Minister Sri. M.G. R  that too in his Camp office at the CM's Residence . Mr. Jayasingh Manoharan cherishes this memorable meeting  as a great and rare privilege 

Mr Jaya Singh Manoharan's Marriage   : :  Mr. Jayasingh Manoharan married Ms Dr. Paul Teresa Hemalatha, daughter of Mr. Soosainathan Paul and Ms Lily Paul of S.S. Colony, Madurai  on the 21st January, 1988 in Madurai

Mr. I  Jayasingh  Manoharan's Parents and Birth  :    A smart enlightened person by name Mr. Iyapillai was a native of  Arasankuzhi village in Thovalai Taluk in Kanyakumari district and he was living with his amiable  wife Ms Devanesam Iyapillai and this couple was blessed with all connubial blessings. This couple gave birth to a cute male child  on the 2nd July ,1955 at  Arasankuzhi village. and this parents christened their boy child as "Jayasingh Manoharan ".  Arasankuzhi village is surrounded by verdant paddy fields and it  lies on the Balamore road  [ No 4 Bus  Route ] at a distance of nearly 8  miles from Nagercoil. and lies between Easanthimangalam and Thuvarankadu.  Mr Iyapillai joined a Christian organisation called The  Salvation Army and  The Salvation Army was / is  mainly serving the cause of the poor downtrodden  people. Major Iyapillai and Major Ms. Devanesam Iyapillai couple had the privilege of working in many important Salvation Army corps situated in Kanyakumarai and Tirunelveli districts with dedication . The name Arasankuzhi deserves a historical research and review.

Victor and he worked in the prestigious ARAMCO, in Saudi Arabia, [2] Mr I. Arthur  and he  worked for many years in Bahrain . {3] Mr. I. Ponniah Raj, and he worked in B.H.E.L, Trichy , [4] Captain Mr. I. Balaratna Singh and he worked as a Commissioned officer in the rank of Captain in the Indian Army, [5] Ms. I. Mary,[6] Ms.I.Inbam and [7] Mr. I. Jayasingh Manoharan [ The Hero of this Article ]. 

Mr. Jayasingh Manoharan's  Educational track up to B.L  level :  Young I. Jayasingh Manoharan  has a brilliant educational career . He did his School education in the then Sir. C.P.Memorial  Government High School at Boothapandi in Kanyakumari district and  now it is a  Government Higher Secondary School.. He pursued his B.Sc [Physics] in Scott Christian College, Nagercoil and passed his B.Sc in the year 1975.  Then he joined the prestigious Madurai Law College  to do his B.L degree course and  passed his B.L degree course in the year 1979

He pursued his  MBA in the Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai  and passed his MBA in the year 1998.  In addition  he wanted to equip himself with adequate computer knowledge and skill , so he pursued his Diploma in Information Technology course [ DI P ] and passed his DIP  course in the year 2002. 

Dr A. Thaya Sekar's Professional  Track  :    Dr. A. Thaya Sekar after having passed his B.V.Sc  degree course, joined the Animal Husbandry Department, Government of Tamil Nadu as Veterinary Assistant Surgeon on the 26th June 1987  at Kadalai Ramanad. and continued  to serve the Animal Husbandry Department as a dedicated Assistant Veterinary Surgeon   He was promoted as Assistant Director of Animal Husbandry Department  in the year 2013.  As Assistant Director,  he had worked in various places namely: Nagercoil, Gudalur, Nilgris, Thiruchi, Thirunelveli etc and currently he is working as the Head of the Veterinary Hospital at Arignar Anna Zoological Park  at Vandalur, Chennai till date with great dedication and efficacy. 

Conferences Attended by him  ::   Dr. A. Thaya Sekar had the privilege of attending many important national level and state level Veterinary Conferences .  He had undergone special Training programmes conducted  competent bodies in different parts of the country. .
