Dr. M. Jeya Chandra's marriage:  In tune with Almighty God's eternal plan  Dr. Jeya Chandra married Ms. Emelin Karunavathy, the beautiful eldest daughter of Dr B.H Jackayya, B.Th, B.D,D.D and Mrs Grace Jackayya ,  at the Concordia Theological Seminary Nagercoil  Chapel in 1967. Mrs. Emelin Karunavathy hails from one of the illustrious  Christian families of South India. Dr. B.H Jackayya  worked as a Professor at the Concordia theological College , Nagercoil and retired as Principal  of Concordia Theological College  Nagercoil and the fact deserves  to be mentioned  here is that Dr,Jackayya was the first Indian Principal of Concordia Theological Seminary, Nagercoil  Dr. Jakayya was an efficient Teacher and  able  Administrator and a great social Thinker 

Dr.Jeya Chandra Masilamani's married life and children : God blessed Dr M. Jeya Chandra and his beloved cute wife Emelin Karunavathy Chandra with one smart son by name Mr. J.Naveen , B.S [US], M.B.A[US] and a beautiful smart daughter by name Ms.J.Jean B.S,, [US], M.B.A[US]. Both Naveen and Jean are working in U.S.

Siblings of Mrs Emelin Karunavathy Jeya Chandra: Dr. B.H Jackayya and Mrs Grace Jackayya couple gave birth two beautiful daughters namely Ms Emelin Karunavathy, and Ms Eunice kalavathy, M.Sc, B.Ed and two smart sons namely Rev Adiss Arnold and Dr Reuben Prakash . Rev Adiss Arnold is married to Ms J.P Saulina, MA,{Social Work],  and Rev Adiss Arnold and Mrs Saulina Arnold couple is blessed with two intelligent sons by name Dr. A.P. Jonathan Arnold, M.B.B.S, M.D, and Er Anupam I.S Arnold B.E  Rev.Adiss Arnold, M.A, B.D, M.Th, was a former Associate Professor in Gurukul Lutheran Theological College, Chennai. Mrs .Eunice Kalavathy is married to Rev .Gideon Devanesan of ALC and Rev Gideon Devanesan retired as  a Bishop of ALC.  Mrs. Unice Kalavathy Gideon and Rt Rev Bishop Gideon Devanesan couple is blessed with one smart son by name Prasanna David and a beautiful intelligent daughter by name Dr. Hannah Gideon, Ph,D, . Dr. Reuben Prakash Jackayya, M.B.B.S,M.D is married to Ms Esther [Teacher ] and lives in Karnataka state with his family 

Dr. M. Jeya Chandra's Higher Education : Due to his natural  thirst for knowledge  Mr. M. Jeya Chandra   pursued his higher education in U.S and earned  his M.S  degree in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, U.S. Dr. M.Jeya Chandra also earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Engineering  and Operations Research from Syracuse University, US

His Professional Track and Awards won by him and conclusion  : Before joining the  Penn State University , Dr. Chandra was an Instructor at Syracuse University where he taught a Course on Probability and the Design of Experiments.  Dr. M. Jeya Chandra joined the Marcus Department faculty, Pennsylvania  State University, U.S in 1980 and served as the Chair of the University's  Operations Research Integrated Graduate Degree Programme. He also served as the Graduate Programme Officer for many years before stepping down in 2014. He was was an efficient Professor and he had bagged many awards and the following are some of his awards ;-[1]  PSIMES  Faculty Appreciation Award, 2011 , [2] PSEAS Distinguished Service Award 2010,  ,[3] Penn State IIE  Student Chapter Outstanding Faculty Award  1983, 1985, 1988, 1990,1994, 1996 ,2000. and ,[4] Distinguished Teacher Award Middle Atlantic Section of ASEE 1995, . Prof. Dr M. Jeya Chandra was a member of the following Institutes ;-[1] Institute for Industrial and Systems  Engineers [I.I.SE], and  [2] Institute For Operations Research and the Management Sciences [ INFORMS}and [3] Member of the American Society for Quality Control . Dr Jeya Chandra was a great Researcher and Scholar and he has more than 60 Publications to his credit and have authored a Textbook published by CRC Pressin 2001, titled ,"Statistical Quality Control ". Following his retirement Dr M. Jeya Chandra has plans to serve as Consultant and to teach  short course on industrial Engineering and also he has plans to develop on line  Course on Operations Research. Definitely Dr.M Jeya Chandra has achieved greatness but he is very humble and unassuming , the medals and awards that he has received speak about his intellectual greatness. In short we can be really proud of him

Introduction: -  Outstanding and  unassuming Prof. Dr. Jeya Chandra Masilamani , B.E, M.S [.], Ph.D[U.S.A ] is a U.S citizen now,  but he was born  in an illustrious Christian family  in Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District. Tamil Nadu, India,  So the people of  kanyakumari  District and Tamilnadu could be really proud of our Prof. Dr.Jeya Chandra Masillamani . He was a competent , committed and efficacious University Teacher , he served as Professor in the Pennsylvania State University , USA in the Industrial Engineering Department,  for 37 years  with great devotion  and distinction and  he recently retired from  active teaching  service on 30th June 2017.  His inspiring  profile will give great inspiration to the students,teachers  and researchers  throughout the globe ,to achieve greatness in life like him . I had the privilege to meet him in person today , he is unassuming, modest, well informed and very intelligent . Definitely he is an exemplary milestone in the field of education , teaching , research, and industrial engineering .

His Parents  and Birth:   Many decades  ago in Nagercoil in Kanyakumari district there  lived a gentleman by name Mr.P. Masilamani, B.A, L.T with his wife Ms Mary Masilamani and to this couple Dr. M. Jeya Chanra was born in the year 1943 

Dr M. Jeya Chandra's Sibling and families:. Mr. P. Masilamni and his beloved wife Mrs.Mary Masilamani couple was blessed with a smart daughter also by name Mrs. Indra Michael. Ms. Indra's husband Dr. Michael, MBBS,  was serving as Government Medical Doctor in Tamil Nadu in an efficient way till his retirement.  Mrs. Indra Michael and Dr Michael couple is blessed with two smart sons by name, Er. Mahesh Michael ,B.E, and Er. Sugith Michael, B.E[ HCL Chennai ]and one beautiful daughter Ms. Nisha Michael, B.A, M.B.A,.  All of them are married and well settled in life. Er.Mahesh Michael lives with his family in U.S, Er.Sugith Michael lives with his family in Chennai  and Mrs. Nisha Michael  lives with her family in Singapore 

Dr. Jeya Chandran Masilamani and his early education : Dr. Jeya Chandra  Masilamani  was a brilliant student , he did his High School studies[SSLC ], in the Concordia High School , Nagercoil and did his PUC at the famous Scott Christian College , Nagercoil  and did his B.E [ Mechanical Engineering in the famous Thiyagarajar College of Engineering , Madurai.
