Introduction   :     A  Former Deputy General Manager of the Reserve of India  Mr.S. Selvaraj, M.A, is really a remarkable man, he is intelligent , unassuming, hard working, efficacious , nice human-being, efficient  Banker and an unsung Achiever .  From a very humble lower middle class background he reached enviable height as D.G.M  in the most important premier Banking  Institution of India [ RBI }.. He achieved greatness in life with the help  his consistent  hard work, and sharp intelligence.  and has become a trendsetter to the younger  generation, specially to those who hail from poor financial background.

Mr S. Selvaraj's Parents and Birth    : \ Beautiful Puthery lake lies on the northern side of Nagercoil town and it  connects Nagercoil town and Puthery village; and on the western side of Puthery lake there lies a beautiful idyllic village called Puzhiady  In Puzhiady village some time ago there lived a farmer  by name Mr Sankar alias Solomon  [His forefathers were natives of nearby Dennispuram],with his cute wife Ms Inbamuthu Sankar. Mr Sankar and Ms Inbamuthu Sankar couple gave birth to a male child  on the 5th March 1952, at Puzhiady. and they named their infant son, Selvaraj

Mr S.Selvaraj's  Education   :  Mr S.Selvaraj was a brilliant and studious student since his Elementary School  days. and he did his Primary School education at the Government Primary School at Kalungady village, which lies at the northern end of Nagercoil  He continued his High School studies at the famous S.M.R.V school in Nagercoil and passed his S.S.L.C in the year 1968 with good marks. Then he pursued his PUC, B,A, and M.A {Economics] at the prestigious Scott Christian College Nagercoil and passed his M.A[Economics[] in March 1974.

His  Wife  Ms K Manonmani Selvaraj and family      :  Mr S. Selavaraj married  Ms K. Mamonmani, B.Sc. M.A.[ Now a Rtd Staff of State Bank of India] a daughter of Mr Rayan and Ms kanakam Rayan {Mr Rayan  was a Head Master of  a School  and also he was a Malayalam Pandit/teacher ] from Perumpuzhi that lies near Marthandam in kanyakumari District. In this context it would be good and useful  to have some idea about Ms K. Manonmani's siblings and her  siblings are as follows:-;[A] Ms Prabavathy is married to Mr Abraham [Teacher] from Navalkadu   and this couple is  blessed with two daughters namely:-[1]Ms Priya , B.E. M.B.A , and she works as an officer at the Federal Bank of India and [2] Ms.Ramya , B.E, M.B .A, is working at the Karur Vaisya Bank as an officer.,{B] Ms Rajambal and she worked as  Government  Nurse and retired  [C] Mrs Padma [Teacher ] is married to Mr. Tamil Selvan [ Teacher] ,[D]Mr Vijaya Rajan,  worked in the Indian Railways and now retired and lives at Vunnamalai kadai, [E]Mr Raj Kumar lives in Bombay [F]Mr. Raj Mohan , and he works as Manager at  the District Cooperative Bank Branch at Colachel ,  married and his children are studying in schools.

Mr Selvaraj Couple's Children     : Mr Selavaraj and Ms K.Manonmani Selvaraj couple is blessed with a son and a daughter namely :- [1] Mr.S.Sagar, M.B.A, he works in a private Company in Bangalore ,[2] Ms Shalini Gabriel, M.A[English], M.Phil, is married to Mr Gabriel Jerome., M.C.A [He now works as a manager in a Software Company in Chennai ] on  the 27th May , 2016.. Ms Shalini Gabriel and Mr Gabriel Jerom  couple is blessed with a lovely daughter and a smart son. Ms Shalini Gabriel works as an  English Lecturer in Valliammal College for Women in  Chennai .

Mr. Selvaraj's Professional Career   : Sri S Selavaraj began his professional career as an Assistant at the Sub-Treasury office at Namakkal,[ The native place of the great Tamil Poet Sri V. Ramalingam Pillai]  and worked in the same capacity at the same office from September  1975 to January 1977 And  then he worked as an Assistant at the Chennai Government Secretariat in the Finance Department from January 1977 to November 1977:.in the meantime he wrote the RBI banking recruit ment examination  for the post of Economic Assistant and passed the examination. and so  he joined as an Economic Assistant in the Economics Department , Reserve Bank Of India , Mumbai in November 1977 and worked in the same cadre  till he was promoted as Assistant manager in 1987.. He worked as Assistant Manager  with great efficacy till 1996[ 1987--1996 ]  and in 1996 he was promoted as Manager and he worked at the Training Division in the Department of Administration, RBI, Mumbai . In the year 2001 Mr Selvaraj was promoted as Assistant \General Manager . and transferred to Bangalore  and he was working as AGM of  RBI  in Bangalore  with distinction till he was transferred to Chennai in 2007 He worked with great vision and dedication  as A.G.M of RBI in Chennai  from 2007 to 2010. In   March  2010  Sri S. Selvaraj was promoted as Deputy General Manager [ DGM] and he worked as DGM in the RBI in Chennai  with great promise and enviable efficacy and in March 2012 he retired as Deputy General Manager [March 2010--March 2012] from active service of the Reserve Bank of India 

Conclusion   : Mr S.Selvaraj's  professional achievement deserves our  appreciation and applause. . From  an unknown or a little  known village  he  qualified himself to occupy the prestigious office of  Deputy General Manger in RBI; and that was not an easy task rather it was an uphill task but without any moral support from any influential quarters, Mr S. Selvaraj   has done it   He is not only an efficient Bank officer  but also he is a complete and compassionate human being; he loved his fellow citizens and served them with great integrity and responsibility  and  always he has a soft corner for the poor, last and  lost . He has found a place  for his native village in the banking , financial and social map of India  It is important and imperative to mention here one important point that his  loving wife and beloved children  always stood  and stand as a great support to him in all his endeavors..  I end this Article with the following line ,"Mr S. Definitely it will be useful to the readers to have some idea about the family background of Ms Jessie Muthammal Chellappa . Not much is known about the family of Ms Jessie Muthammal's father Mr.M. Paul . . Long time ago  in Dennispuram there lived a Christian  couple by name Mr Yoesephu [Joseph] and Ms Paramayee Yoesephu and this couple gave birth to two sons and two daughters namely: [1] Mr. Samathanam, and he was  blessed with the following children namely ;-[a]Ms. Josephine, [b] Ms. Gnanaselvam ,[c]Ms. Joyce, [d] Mr. Pushparaj. Joseph [ Former Head Master of Concordia High School, Nagercoil ],[e] Mr. Kesari Joseph, [f] Mr. Dharma Singh, [g] Ms. Jesaih Palammal  Selvarj,[h] Ms. Daisy Santha bai Solomoon Raj,,[2 ]Muthammal and  she was married to Joshua s/o Joseph deacon and this couple gave birth to Ms Charlette and she married Mr Charles , s/o Mr.Nallathambi and Ms.Santhayi [daughter  of Joseph Deacon ],[3] Ms.Santhai { Mother of Ms Jessie Muthammal Chellappa ], she married Mr,M. Ms Jessie Muthammal's Parents and her Siblings     : Ms J. Santhai, daughter of Mr Yoeseph and Ms Paramayee of Dennispuram  married Mr Paul and Mr.M Paul  was working as a Tamil Pandit at the SDA James Memorial High School at Prakasapuram in V.O.C district in Tamil Nadu. Mr Paul and Ms Santhai couple gave birth to the following children namely ;- [1] Ms Jessie Rathna ,and she passed away in her twenties.  [2] Ms. Jessie Muthammal,and she was born on the 26th May, 1925 and she is the heroine  of this Article  [3] Mr Paul Josiah Joseph  [ He was an adopted son of Mr Paul and Santhai Paul couple ]

Ms Jessie Muthammal's Educational Trajectory    :  Ms Jessie Muthammal Chellappa  had an enviable  educational trajectory.. Ms Jessie Muthammal  was a smart and brilliant student since her Primary School days. She did her early Primary school education at Dennispuram.in KK distrct and Prakasapuram, in VOC district. She studied her 9th and 10th Standard in Lowry Memorial School , Bangalore. She did her Matriculation in the Andra University . She studied her Midwifery at the Gifford Memorial  Hospital Nuzvid, [1953].  She did her Diploma in Nursing at General Hospital Madras [1961].She further studied and passed her PUC and then she did her B,S [Nursing] at Bangalore City College of Nursing [1974] and passed meritoriously . She did her M.Sc [Nursing] at the prestigious  Delhi University and passed with distinction [1979].  and bagged President's medal.

Ms Jessie Muthammal Chellppa's Marriage and Children   : Ms Jessie Muthammal was married to Mr Chellappa [ Son of Mr . Gurupatham and Ms Yesudial and grandson of Mr Joseph Deacon of Dennispuram ]on the 8th June , 1953.  Mr G. Chellappa  [ He was working in the Indian Army  as a Naik- Subedhar [.He was born in 1925  at Dennispuram and died in 2004]. This couple  gave birth to the following children namely ;- [1] Ms Jessie Rathana, [she was named after her mother's sister Jessie Rathna who passed away at an early age] she did her B.Sc at the Bangalore University and worked with the  Postal department in karnataka. . She married Mr Clarence from Vellore . This couple is blessed with two daughters namely ;- [a] M. Mercy ,B.Sc {Nursing]  she lives in Canada.,[b]Ms Priscilla, B.Sc {Nursing] married and blessed with a boy  and a girl  [2] Ms Greeta Pauline Dason , B.Sc[Nursing] and she married her paternal aunt Ms. Abaranam's  son Dr Sam Daniel Dason and this couple gave birth to 2 sons namely ;-[a]  Dr Ash , D,D,S and he  is married to Ms Deejay Walayat, M.H.A, [ her dad is a Pakisthani and mother Filipino and both are Physicians] and this couple is blessed with a boy child by name Ezra Benjamin Dason, [b]Mr Cyril, B.S [ Patient Information Management] works for US Federal Government and is married to Ms Rachel ,DDS  and she  is a Vietnamese and works as  Dental Anesthesiologist at the Loma Linda University, US .[3] Ms Jean Sicilia Chellappa Sahar  and she did her PhD at the Bangalore University and married to her paternal aunt Ms Abaranam's son  Mr Ponnu Raja Sahar, MBA and they live in Canada  and this couple is blessed with a son by name Mr Dr.Adley Dason, M.D, and he has just  finished his Residency in June 2020 at Loma Linda University, US and [b] Ms Pearly Dason and she is doing her Dentistry in Canada.

Ms Jessie Muthammal Chellappa's Professrional  Career : Ms Jessie Muthammal Chellappa began her Nursing career as Nursing Staff in Cheluvamba  Hospital [4th December 1954 to 14th June 1961] . Further she studied her Sister Tutor Training in Chennai and was posted as a Sister at Tumkur in 1960, all this was possible with  the help of her encouraging husband Mr G.Chellappa and her mother who took care of her children   Then she worked as Nursing Tutor at the General Hospital Tumkur [19th Jun 1961 to 31st may 1966] . She worked as Nursing Tutor at K.R. Hospital Mysore [ 6th June 1966 to 19th June 1971 ]. Then she worked as Nursing Tutor at Bowring  and Lady Curzon Hospital in Bangalore [ 8th July 1971 to 14th August 1974] with great efficacy. From 14th August 1974  to 31st May 1984 she worked as Assistant Professor at Bangalore City College of Nursing and taught B.Sc Nursing Classes. and then she was promoted  and she served for a short period of time as Vice Principal of this same college with great distinction.. And after a having served for 30 years  in various capacities she retired  from the Government service [Nursing ] in June 1984 . After her retirement from Govt Service  she worked as Principal [School] at Chinmaya College of Nursing, Bangalore  with great devotion and distinction

She Authored a famous Nursing Text Book :   Ms. Jessie Muthammal Chellappa was a scholar in Nursing subjects specially in the field of Pediatric Nursing  and as a corollary she wrote a famous Book by name, "Pediatric Nursing" The first edition of this book Pediatric Nursing was published in Bangalore by Gajanana Book Publishers and distributors , 2000. and the second edition was published  by Prithvi Book Agency [EAN: 123456 742960 ]. This book was used as a text book for B.Sc Nursing students in Karnataka.

Conclusion    : Ms Jessie Muthammal  Chellappa was a beautiful woman with beautiful mind .After having lived almost 89 fruitful years on  this Earth,  Ms Jessie Muthammal Chellppa had passed away from this world on the 7th of March ,2018. and her body was buried at the SDA Lowry Tamil Church Cemetery in Bangalore She had left many glorious legacies and indelible imprints in the minds of her daughters,sons in law , grandchildren , family and Church members, and Society  She did reach some heights in her professional career but according to my sincere and balanced  estimate Ms.Jessie Muthammal Chellappa, M.Sc,{Nursing]  deserved even higher recognition and positions in her exemplary professional career  . She tutored many Nursing students and they  respected and loved her According to her daughter Ms Greeta Dason , her mother Ms Jessie Muthammal Chellappa strove to be excellent in whatever task she was bound and supposed to do .. She was a great practicing Christian she was passionate about serving the indigenous poor.people by providing monetary help for nursing education of their children . Ms. Jessie Muthammal Chellappa  used to say , "If one in the family becomes a Nurse it gives an opportunity for the entire family to break out off the curse of the past "  She loved her Nursing and Teaching  profession so much and discharged her duty with great integrity, efficacy, distinction  and commitment. It is not possible to confine her great career and accomplishments within this Article. She was a fruitful tree to her family and society   When I write this last line of my write-up on Ms. Jessie Muthammal Chellappa  I  spontaneously remember the verses from Bible Proverb Chapter 31 : 28 ,"Her Children arise up and call her blessed, Her husband also,and he praised  her " This verse is true in the  case of Ms Jessie Muthammal Chellpa.

Dr. Sam Daniel Dason's Marriage and Wife  : Mr.Joseph Deacon's grandson  and Dr Sam Daniel Dason's maternal uncle Mr G.Chellappa married Ms Jessie Muthammal, M.Sc {Nursing] and she later became the Vice Principal of a Government Nursing College in Karnataka  Among the girls Dr. Sam Daniel Dason had seen, he was  attracted towards his maternal uncle Mr G. Chellappa's daughter  Ms Greeta Pauline Chellappa and  as  there was  a strong mutual attraction  they had been loving each other for ten years   and finally Dr. Sam Daniel Dason  married Ms. Greeta Pauline Chellappa , in 1984.and the wedding was conducted in Madurai.  Even before her wedding  Mrs Greeta Pauline Chellappa Dason had completed her B.S {nursing] successfully  at the S.N.D.T University, Bombay[ Mumbai] .. As she got a Nursing job in Saudi Arabia ,she  went and worked as a Nurse in a Hospital at AlKhobar, Saudi Arabia for a few years  before proceeding to US to join her husband Dr. Sam Daniel in 1986.

Dr.Sam Daniel Dason  worked as a Biology Teacher:  After his marriage Dr.Sam Daniel Dason started to work  as a Biology and Bible teacher at  Ottapalam SDA School in 1985, but  he had a burning ambition to go to US and do Higher Studies in the United States of America. and so he was doing all necessary efforts to get a Student Visa  to do Higher Studies in US

Dr. Sam Daniel Dason Moved to US in 1985 and Faced the Challenges Boldly  :  At last due his relentless efforts he got his Student Visa  and he resigned his teaching job and landed in USA on the 15th August , 1985. with very little money in his pocket but with great faith in God.. Then immediately he joined the School of Allied Health , Loma Linda University and studied Respiratory Therapy Course{ 19th October 1985 to 19th September 1986.] and passed .His wife Ms Greeta Dason  arrived  in USA , from Saudi Arabia in 1986, . They started their conjugal life again after a short physical parting, she became pregnant . They were in need of some more money to meet the family expenses, Mr Sam Daniel Dason got a job for $ 8. 25 an hour in a far away hospital an hour  drive from the apartment they lived . . His intelligent wife Ms Greeta Dason wrote the US [C.A] Nursing Board Examination  while she was pregnant . Mr Dason and his wife Ms Greeta Dason did not even  have enough money for Ms.Greeta's prenatal care. Such was the situation in which they lived .  Ms Greeta Dason passed the Board Examination and found a job at Loma Linda  Community Hospital . This hospital sponsored for Ms Greeta Dason's Work Permit. and eventually Green Card. Some  Challenges and blocks were placed on their way but Dr Sam Daniel Dason and his wife Ms.Greeta Dason,  both of them stood boldly together and surmounted the problems with the help of God

Dr, Sam Daniel Dason & Ms Greeta Dason Couple Got the US Green Card  ;  Years were moving fast, Dr. Sam Daniel Dason couple applied for their Green Cards . In the mean time they purchased their first Home in Redlands in California . They got  the good news about their Green Cards and and so to get  their Green Cards  they came to India  and received their green Cards in February 1989. and returned to US with  hopes, joy and dreams

Dr. Sam Daniel Dason Got Admission for  DDS  Study at the Loma Linda University, U.S   : Dr Sam Daniel Dason is a studious and industrious student and his thirst for knowledge is laudable . He is a consuming learner  and reader. He qualified for the following Posts;- [1] Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner , State of California 1986,[2]Registered Respiratory Therapist  National Board of Respiratory  Care 1988 .Actually Dr Sam Daniel Dason landed in US with the dream of becoming a Medical Doctor but. as a realist  he understood the situation  and compromised to do Doctor of Dental Surgery course  and so  with his Transcript from Spicer Memorial College Pune, and with his first class  M.A degree certificate he walked into Dental School  of Loma Linda university and met Dr Crowford the then  Dean of Admission  Dr Crowford's uncle worked as an SDA Missionary in India and so he was more interested in knowing Mission work in India . Dr Sam told about his grandpa Mr Y. Asirvatham and his dad Pastor A. Dason, B.A,  the Dean was well impressed but told Sam Daniel to study  Organic Chemistry subject to apply  for DDS  admission.  Dr Sam Daniel completed the  one year course  in Organic Chemistry in three months and got all A grade. and came and met Dr Crowford and he said to Sam sit for the Dental Admission test and apply for admission in the School of  Dentistry, Loma Linda University.   Dr Sam went home and forgot this, as he had an infant son and  a house and a full time job . But luck knocked his door  again  in September 1989,   Dr Crowford  called Mr. Sam Daniel  Dason and told Mr.Sam Daniel that there was an opening for DDS course this year and asked Mr Sam Daniel Dason to write the Dental Admission Test and  encouraged  and  promised to arrange for the Student loan  So Sam Daniel did the Dental Admission test  and subsequently with the moral support of Dr Crowford and by the blessing of God Dr Sam Daniel got admission in the School of Dentistry, Loma Linda University for CA,,D.D.S course and since then there was no turning back, Mr Sam Daniel Dason studied the Course[1989-1993] with dedication and passed his DDS examination in  1993. Mr. Sam Daniel Dason became Dr. Sam Daniel Dason.

Dr Sam Daniel Dason's Profesional career    ;- Dr. Sam Daniel Dason has a colorful professional career . He has worked as Biology Teacher in  High School and lower level schools in India.  In U.S, he started his professional career as a Licensed Respiratory Therapist at Hemet Valley Hospital , Hemet  He cared for Patients with acute respiratory failure[July  1986--December 1987].   After the successful completion of his D.D.S degree  he worked as Assistant Professor at the School of Dentistry , Loma Linda University from January 2008 till his retirement in May 2017. Dr Sam Daniel Dason  served  in the US Army Reserve Dental Corps since 2008 and retired in 2017 in the rank of Lt Colonel  with Honorable Discharge.  He had been doing private practice in the Colton  Dental Group [2004 --2017 ], in the San Bernardino Dental Group [ 2001 to 2017 ]and  in the Desert Dental Service [ December 1998 to July 2017] and so on. He is a devoted and efficacious Dentist  he attained Advanced Senior Status at LLU School of Dentistry on the basis of high quality care. and also he has got many professional certificates. Currently he serves as Adjunct Professor at Sathyabama University, Dental College, Chennai since Oct 2019.

His professional Memberships   : Dr Sam Daniel Dason  is a member of  the following Professional Bodies namely ;- [1]California Dental Association, [2]American Dental Association, [3]American Academy of General Dentistry and [4] International Association for Orthodontics since 1998.

Conclusion : William Shakespeare said that some are born great and some achieve greatness  Dr Sam Danieal Dason belongs to the second category .He is a staunch SDA christian and a great Evangelist during Summers in 1982 and 1984 he went to Sweden and conducted gospel meetings and also delivered health lectures and consoled one person during Home Visitation  In California also he teaches Bible to the Young people . He is an efficacious teacher and eloquent speaker, last year  he was invited as a Speaker to talk on the subject Peridontics at the PERIO- PARADIGMS National Conference held on the 17th &18th October ,2019 at the Sathyabama University, Chennai on the topic, "Changing  Trends & Innovation in Periodontics" .  He is very smart , intelligent and he is a resource person on his subject. he has great love for his native village and family members . He always thanks God for his enviable travel from a tiny village located in the Southern most district  of India into the classrooms of School of Dentistry of Loma Linda University,US, as a Student and later as an Assistant Professor and Adjunct Associate Professor.and also as a Lt Colonel in US Army. . He loved his Parents so much and so he made his parents as US Citizens.. Now he happily lives with his blessed family in California  and his wife Ms Greeta Dason works as Nurse Instructor for the state of California at Patton State Hospital, California.. Dr Sam Daniel Dason  never forgets to think about  his father's village Vellachivilai and his mother's village Dennispuram. and the surrounding places and the people who live around.   He has become a living example  and a guiding milestone to many  to  come up in life by consistent hard work. Dr. Sam Daniel Dason's  Parents : Dr. Sam Daniel Dason's father Pastor A. Dason hailed from Vellachivilai, near Thakalay, Kanyakumari district and his mother Ms Abaranam Dason d/o Mr.Gurupatham hailed from Dennispuram located near Erachakulam, K.K. Dist, ..As  I have dealt with Pastor Asirvatham's family in part A it would be appropriate and  useful to  pen some lines about Ms.. Abaranam Dason d/o Mr Gurupatham and Ms Yesudial Gurupatham. Ms Abaranam's mother's father Mr Joesph Deacon was considered  as one of the richest Land Lords in South Travancore and it is said that he used to visit his paddy fields on horse back . Mr Gurupatham and Ms Yesudial Gurupatham couple gave birth to the following  children namely "- [1] Mr Swamidhas married and blessed with 4  daughters  and it is important to remember here that Dr Sam Daniel Dason's first name Sam stands after Mr.Swamidhas..  , [2]   Mr. Chellappan  and he married Ms Jessie Muthammal , MSc [ Nursing] and this couple is blessed with the following children  namely:[a]Ms Jessie Rathna, B,Sc,[b]Ms Greeta Dason, B.S[Nursing], [c]Ms  Jean Sahar, Ph.D,   ,[3]Ms Abaranam married SDA Pastor A. Dason and blessed with the following Children namely:[a]Mr Aseer Grueber, [b]Mr.Dr. Sam Daniel Dason [Dr. Sam Daniel Dason was born in 1957 at Dennispuram ],[c] Mr.Ponnu Raja Sahar,,[d] Mr Dr. Josiphus Vasanth kumar, M.D,and [e] Ms Julie Thyagaraj ,[4].  Ms Saratha, she is  a qualified Nurse and she worked as a Staff Nurse and Supervising Nurse at Kottar Government Hospital  and then she worked almost for 20 years at Asaripalam Govt Hospital as Head Nurse. She remained unmarried and helped the upbringing of her nephews and nieces. [5]]Ms Vasanthy, she went to Vellore CMC hospital and she fell in love with Mr Josiah [ the adopted son of  Tamil Pandit Paul and Ms. Santhayee and became a brother of Ms Jessie Muthammal ]  and married him and this couple is blessed with 3 sons namely:-[a] Mr Danny now has started a Wellness Centre to rehabilitate alchoholic Addicts and recovering drug addicts,[b]Mr. Davis and his daughter had just passed her BDS from a Dental College in Bangalore, and  [c]Mr. Dennis Joseph lives in Halifax, Canada and his wife is a Nurse.

 Dr. Sam Daniel Dason's Education  in India :  : As Dr Sam Daniel Dason's dad  pastor A. Dason was working as SDA Pastor at Arakonam ,  the young Sam Daniel Dason did his 1st grade and 2nd grade at Arakonam and then moved to his mother's village Dennispuram. Mr Sam Daniel Dason did his Middle School at the Governement Middile School at Erachakulam [ Erachakulam is located near and north of  Puthery where the great Tamil Poet Kavi Mani Desiyavinayagam Pillai lived ]. Dr. Sam Daniel Dason  did  his High School education at the famous DVD High School, Kottar in Nagercoil,  He  did his PUC at the famous Pioneer Kumaraswamy College , Nagercoil Then after having passed his PUC he went to   Pune and pursued his higher education at the Spicer  Memorial college  and meritoriously passed  his B.L.A in Biology [June 1973--May 1978 ].  And after having passed his BLA, Mr.. Sam Daniel Dason did his MA in Physical Anthropology at the University of Pune [June 1980-- May 1982 ]. and meritoriously passed his M.A.

Pastor A. Dason's father Asirvatham and his Siblings   : Long time ago there lived  a gentleman by name Mr. Asirvatham   in a beautiful village called Vellachivilai, which lies on the Nagercoil --Thiruvananthapuram N.H road near Thakalay in KK district, . Mr Asirvatham was a farmer formerly he had been working in a sugarcane farm but had his Bible always with him 24/7 and used  to kneel down and pray for hours and he got into the ministry and worked as a Lay  Preacher.  Mr Asirvatham had two brothers namely :[1] Mr.Yesudhason [His grand children are living  in Madurai] and [2] Mr Daniel.[ He moved to Nuzvid SDA hospital in Andrapradesh,and worked in the hospital and later he became the Business Manager of the same hospital ] .

Parents and Birth of Pastor A. Dason  :   :.  Catechist Y.Asirvatham  married  Ms Gnanammal and this couple. gave birth to 6 six children including Pastor A.Dason, namely;- [1] Ms. Muthammal Swaminathan, [2]Mr Dason Asirvatham [ He was born on 16 th June 1927 ],[3]Ms Gemimal Williams,[4]Mr Moses Asirvatham, [5]Ms. Mary Caleb, and [6] Ms . Theboral Narayanan. Now except Ms Mary Caleb and Ms. Theboral Narayanan, the rest of the siblings had passed away from this world. 

Mr A. Dason's Education   : During those days the SDA families of kanyakumari Dustrict used to  send their children to Pragasapuram SDA James Memorial High School for Schooling. Mr Asirvatham also sent his son Dason to  James Memorial High School at Pragasapurm for his school  education   .Mr Dason  was a brilliant student, so after having successfully passed his SSLC  he joined the famous SDA Spicer College in Pune  and continued his collegiate education and he studied Religious  Philosophy as major  for his BA and passed his B.A final exam .and brought joy to his parents and family

Pastor A. Dason's Wife and Children   : Many decades ago there lived a gentle man by name Mr Joseph[ Ms Abaranam's Mother's father] in a historical village called Dennispuram near Erachakulam, north of Nagercoil town. It is pertinent  to remember  a  forgotten historical fact .that  Mylaudy Maharasan Vethamanickam's grandson and  father of the great Church historian Mr C.M. Agur,B.A,  Rev C. Masillamani served as Pastor of the LMS Church at Dennispuram for 20 years., Mr Joeph served as deacon of the Salvation Army Church at Dennispuram with great distinction and he donated one acre of his land to the Salvation Army Church.at Dennispuram . Pastor A. Dason from Vellachivilai married Ms Abaranam Gurupatham , d/o Mr Gurupatham and granddaughter  of Joesph Deacon.{ Mr Joseph joined SDA later ]. Pastor S. Dason and Ms.G. Abaranam Dason couple gave birth to 4 sons and 1 daughter namely :-[A] Mr. Aseer Gruber and he married Ms Mallika  and this couple is blessed with only one son by name Mr.Lesley and he married Ms. Nancy and this couple is blessed with 2 sons namely [2] Ryan and [2] Ian. Mr Lesley and family live in Corona, California, US. Mr Josiphus Vasantha Kumar lives in Toronto Canada with his wife and children, [E] Ms Julie and she married Mr Thyagaraj  and this couple is blessed two sons namely : [1]Dr. Galdwyn, DDS, and [2] Mr . Christy  and he is Dental Hygienist , and Ms Julie Thyagarj and family live in Toronto, Canada.

Pastor Dason and his Ministry  and Conclusion : In the year 1935 Mr A. Dason  along with  his  brothers Mr Yesuthason and  Mr.Daniel went to Navalkadu and preached the gospel as independent lay preachers, Later on completion of regular required theological training Pastor  A. Dason worked as full time SDA Pastor in Seethapal for many years and also with some others village SDA congregations .Mr Asirvatham gave full support  to his son Pastor A. Dason. During his ministry period  Pastor A.Dason had converted  1000s of people  and brought them to SDA mission and out of them most of them were from poor down trodden sections . And one such Convert was  Pastor .R.John from Navalkadu originally Pastor John hailed from a Penticostal Christian family.  Pastor R. John joined SDA and served as a SDA Pastor and later he became the President  of SDA Church,for the whole of  Southern Asia.. Pastor R. John retired 4 years ago from active  service.  Pastor A. Dason was a relentless SDA preacher and evangelist he planted 14 SDA churches. and also he was instrumental in sending lots of boys to SDA Boarding Schools and  Spicer College, Pune for higher education. After retirement pastor A. Dason went  to USA  with his wife and stayed with his beloved son Dr Sam Daniel Dason and family .  Both Pastor A.Dason and his wife Ms Abaranam  got US citizenship . Ms Abaranam Dason passed away 7 years ago at Erachakulam, India and   Pastor Asirvatham Dason passed away  on 27th July 2019, in US . Pastor Abraham was blessed with all the blessings in accordance  with promises and blessings promised in the Holy Bible. .Pastor Asirvatham Dason loved his wife and children  specially he loved his grandchildren . He also loved poor people..Yes Pastor A.Dason, B.A was a  remarkable man, a great reader. a very intelligent man, a man of prayer, he served God  and loved fellow human-beings. With great vision he  guided and helped  many poor young people for their higher education and progress. and many of them are very well placed in life. He was really a visionary he lived a meaningful life, with a salute to late Pastor A. Dason,  I end this Article .
