A Relentless Hard Worker, Innovative Mechanical Engineer, Efficacious Administrator and A Former General Manager at Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, Er. C. Ramiah, B.E, [ Mechanical].

Introduction:   A   Former General Manager at Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, Mr. C. Ramiah, B.E [Mech] is a remarkable self-made man and is blessed with great mental energy and intellectual power. He is honest, very sincere, unassuming, hard-working Engineer with great grasping power and administrative efficiency. William Shakespeare wrote that some are born great and some achieve greatness and Er C. Ramiah belongs to the second category. His remarkable reach from a lane home at a Tea Estate to the august position of a General Manager at BHEL deserves our appreciation and regards. Definitely his real-life story will galvanise the first- generation youth of this Nation with new hope and inspire them to reach great heights in life and to lead a meaningful life.

M. C. Ramiah's Parents and His Birth:  Uthumalai is beautiful idyllic and historical village located in Veerakeralamputhur taluk in Tenkasi District, Tamil Nadu, and this village was the native village of Mr C. Ramiah's father Mr Chinathambi. But Mr Chinathambi with his dear wife Mrs Petchiammal went to Kerala in search of good job and worked in an enchanting Tea Estate in Achankovil, Quilon District, Kerala. This beautiful couple gave birth to a boy child on 20th January 1957, and they christened their boy child, 'Ramiah.' . Mr. C. Ramiah's parents returned to Uthumalai from Achankovil, for the cause of their children's education.

Mr. C. Ramiah's Sibling:    God blessed Mr. Chinnathambi and his beloved wife Mrs Petchiammal  with all the connubial blessings and this couple gave birth to the following children: [1] Ms. C. Muthammal, [2] Mr. C. karuppiah, [3] Mr. C. Kani, he studied up-to SSLC and worked in a Govt office, [4] Mr. C. Krishnan [ Expired as an infant] and [5] Mr. C. Ramiah, the Hero of this Blogpost. Now none of them are alive except Mr. C. Ramiah.

Mr. C. Ramiah's Educational Track:    Young Ramiah did his Primary and Middle school education at the famous AVN Middle School at Uthumalai village.  After having passed his 8th Std he pursued his High School Education at the then Govt High School at Uthumalai and passed his S.S.L.C in 1973. Then he pursued his PUC at the famous St Xavier College, Palayamkottai. After having passed his PUC in flying colours, he pursued his B.E {Mechanical Engineering] during the years 1974-1979 at the College of Engineering, Thanjavur, and passed his BE meritoriously .in1979.

Er. C. Ramiah's Wife and her Parents:    Er. C. Ramiah married Ms Vijila Nalini, daughter of Mr. Sunderaraj, a native of Petchankulam, on 10th September 1982. Mr Ramiah's father-in law Mr Sunderaraj worked as a Postmaster in Nagercoil, finally as Head Postmaster at Tiruchendur. Mr. Ramiah's Mother- in- law Ms S, Pappa, was a native of Mannadi, near Boothapandi, worked as Branch Postmaster.  Both of them are no more alive in this world.

Er. C. Ramiah's Children and their Spouses:  God blessed Mr C. Ramiiah and his beloved wife Mrs. Vijila Nalini with all the conjugal blessings and this couple gave birth to the following children: [1] Mr. Suvin, B.E [ELC] and he is working as a Staff at the Charis Bible College, Chennai and he is married to Mrs. Jeyasree, B.A, {English] and she is also working as a Staff at the Charis Bible College in Chennai; [2] Dr. Navin, M.B.B.S, M.D [ Emergency Medicine], and he is married to Mrs. Dr. Jancy, M.B.B.S, M.D, [D.M] and this couple is blessed with one boy by name Jeff Navin [ 3years old]. . 

Er. C. Ramiah's Professional Track:  After having passed his B.E[ Mech], Er. C. Ramiah was selected as an Engineer Trainee in the prestigious BHEL, Trichy in October 1979.  On successful completion of his Training period, he joined BHEL Trichy as a regular Engineer. and worked with great distinction and professional efficacy. Er. C. Ramiah worked in the BHEL, Trichy for 21 years with great distinction. Then he was transferred to BHEL at Ranipet, Ranipet District, and there he worked tirelessly for 16 years His hard work and professional efficacy was recognised and he got promotions regularly and totally he got 9 Promotions from Engineer to General Manager, BHEL. He worked and gained experience in such fields as Purchasing, Maintenance, Store, Erection and Outsourcing, Human Resource and I.C Hospital. Er. C Ramiah retired from service in January 2017 as General Manager, BHEL.

Conclusion   After his retirement from his service in BHEL Er. C. Ramiah is living with his family in Velacheri, Chennai happily and peacefully. In the year 1999, Er. C. Ramiah had the privilege to attend an International Leadership Conference in Mauvi Island [ Mid Pacific] USA, conducted by Haggai International Spiritual Seminar for 20 days. He is God fearing, honest, unassuming, very efficient and a compassionate human-being. God has blessed him with all the blessings promised in Psalm 128.  It is not possible to cover all the chapters of his life within the space of this Blogpost and so I will end this Blogpost with the following sentence, "Dear Er.
