Introduction; It is gratifying and heartening to learn that women from remote villages have equipped themselves with adequate education and mental energy to occupy enviable and high positions in Government and private sector. Assistant General Manager {Q.A] of Aavin, Chennai[ TNCMPFL], Mrs. S. Grace, M,Sc, B.Ed, is a living example to confirm the truth of the preceding sentence. Her enviable reach from an unheard lovely tiny village called Krishnanputhur near Kanyakumari to an august position in Aavin Chennai,[ TNCMPFL] as AGM [ Q.A] deserves our regard and appreciation. A perusal of her profile will definitely galvanise the current college and university students specially the girl students from rural villages to set up high goals, to achieve greatness and to live a meaningful life.
Mrs. S. Grace and Her Parents and Birth: Krishanaputhur village in Agasteeswaram Block in Kanyakumari district is a beautiful unsung tiny village surrounded by coconut trees and it is bordered by Bay of Bengal on the eastern side and in this enchanting village there lived a gentleman by name Mr. P. Samy with his beloved wife Mrs. C. Annammal and this blessed and blissful couple gave birth to Ms. Grace on the 5th June,1968.
Her Siblings: God blessed Mr. Samy and his beloved wife Mrs. Annammal, with all the conjugal blessings and this blissful couple gave birth to the following children: [1] Ms. Selvamoni and she is married to Mr. Jeyapal,[2] Ms Ponmani, and she is unmarried,[3] Mr. Paul William [ He served in the Indian military] and he is married to Ms Sahayam and this couple is blessed with one daughter and three sons and out of these three sons, two sons are working in foreign countries, [ 4] Ms. Metilda and she married Mr. S. Chandra Bose, and he lives in Mumbai and he owns a bus and is doing transportation business. This couple is blessed with the following children: [a] Ms C. Angelin Anitha and she is a qualified Nurse and she works in a foreign country as a Staff Nurse and she is married to Mr R. Selvaraj and this couple is blessed with two children namely: [i] S. Karunesh and [ii] S. Ishan and, [b]Mr. C. Jobin Satheesh, B.Sc and he is working in IDBI Bank, Mumbai, .and [5] Ms. S, Grace, M.Sc, B.Ed,. and she is the heroine of this blogpost.
Educational Track of Ms. S. Grace: Young little Ms. Grace did her Primary School studies at the Govt Primary School at Amanakan Vilai and she pursued her High School and Higher Secondary school at the Salvation Army Higher Secondary School, Nagercoil. After having passed her Plus Two examination meritoriously she did her B.Sc [ Chemistry] in a prestigious college and passed her B.Sc with good marks. After her B.Sc she did her B.Ed and passed her B.Ed in the year 1992. She pursued her M.Sc[ Chemistry] at Annamalai University and passed her M.Sc [ Chemistry] in First Class in the year 1996
Ms Grace' Husband and Children: Ms. S. Grace married Mr. M. Karunanidhi, M.A, B.Ed, on the 1st of May 1989. Mr. Karunanidhi after having worked for many years with great devotion and distinction at the Tamil Nadu Government Secretariat, Chennai, he retired as Additional Secretary. God blessed Mrs Grace and Mr karunanidhi couple with all the connubial blessings and this couple gave birth to the following children namely: [a] Ms. K. Yamuna, M.E, and she is working in a Bank and [b] Mr. K. Balaji, M.E.
Her Professional track: After having passed her M.Sc[ Chemistry] meritoriously, Ms. S. Grace, M.Sc, joined Aavin [TNCMPFL], Chennai, as Assistant Dairy Chemist in the year 1996. and it would be useful to the readers to have some understanding about Aavin. Aavin is a Tamil Nadu State Government Cooperative under the ownership of Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation Ltd [ TNCMPFL]. Ms S, Grace continued to work as Assistant Dairy Chemist in the Aavin, Chennai with great devotion and efficacy, promotions came to her one after another and in 2023, she was promoted as Assistant General Manager [ Quality Assurance], at Aavin, Chennai, and since then she has been working as AGM [Quality Assurance] with great distinction and efficacy. As AGM [Quality Assurance] her main duty is to work for the improvement of all types of dairy products produced by Aavin and to prevent the quality failures. in the Aavin products.
Conclusion: Mrs. S. Grace, M.Sc[ Chemistry], deserves our appreciation and respects on many accounts. Since her Primary school days, she had been a brilliant student. She is blessed with natural flair for research. Her hard work and brilliance lifted her in her professional career to the level of an AGM [ Quality Assurance] at Aavin, [ TNCMPFL] Chennai. She loves her family and village, so much and proud of her smart and intelligent husband and brilliant children. She is very honest, unassuming, hardworking, very efficacious in her work and discharges her official duty with great commitment, distinction, and efficacy. We can surely hope that she will reach even higher places in her career.
