A Former Deacon of the Nagercoil C.S.I [LMS} Home Church, Secretary of Nagercoil Y.M.C.A , Member of Tamil Bible Revision Committee , Author of Two Amazing Tamil Books, Tamil Teacher in Scott Christian High School and Tamil Pundit in Scott Christian College, Nagercoil late Mr. Paul Apollos [1860-- 1928 ] ,

Introduction    :  Late Mr.Paul Apollos of  Santhapuram, Kanyakumari district, was one of the tallest Christian leaders and thinkers of his time  and he was a multifaceted personality.  Mr Paul Apollos was a great Tamil Scholar, Tamil Teacher , Author , Church Leader,  Secretary of Nagercoil Y.M.C.A , Deacon of Nagercoil Home Church  and above all he was a Man of of God .  He was a visionary Thinker, and a practising Christian .  His galvanising profile will definitely galvanise the readers of this Article and the youth of this nation to set up lofty goals in life and to live a meaningful life .

 

     Mr. A.T. Paul. B.A, L.T, [ S/o Former Deacon of Nagercoil Home Church Mr Paul Apollos.

Mr. Paul Apollos' Parents and Birth   :  Santhapuram is a beautiful, blissful and historical village in Agasteeswaram taluk in Kanyakumari District  and  a  pioneer LMS Missionary by name Rev  Ebenezer Louis was working in Satharapuram as an LMS  Missionary and Pastor  and  Ebenezer Louis led a  smart young man  to accept Jesus Christ as his Saviour.   That boy was baptised with a new name , Paul, and Rev. Ebenezer Louis  was attracted by the good Christian character  of young Paul and so he taught Bible lessons to Mr Paul and appointed Mr Paul as a catechist in the Santhapuram LMS Church.  As Mr Paul worked as a Catechist [ Upadesiyar in Tamil ] in L.M.S.Church   he was called as Santhapuram Paul Upadesiyar.. It would be definitely useful to the readers to know one historical fact here  that Rev.. Ebenezer Louis bought 8 acres of  land , planned , constructed a church in that newly purchased land, built houses for the Church members  and other important buildings and  established a new village and named it as  Santhapuram.." .At proper time catechist. Paul married a beautiful, educated and pious Christian girl and God blessed Mr.Paul and his beloved wife Mrs. Paul  and this blessed couple gave birth to Mr Paul Apollos on August 8th ,1860.

                                                                           MrPaul Appolos's Educational Track   :  Mr Paul did his Primary School Education at the Primary School  built by Rev Louis at Santhapuram . Then Mr. Paul  was sent by the Santhapuram  LMS  Church Pastor to Nagercoil to study in the Nagercoil L.M.S  Seminary at Nagercoil founded by Rev. Charles Mead. As an intelligent and hard working student Mr.Paul  scored very high marks in all the subjects and specially in  Tamil, English, and  Sanscrit language examinations. 

Mr. Paul Apollos Professional Tract :   Mr. Paul Apollos was not only a brilliant student but also a benevolent and down to earth  student with matured temperament and compassionate mind  .  The Principal of Nagercoil Seminary noted the exemplary proficiency of Mr Paul in Tamil and his pious Christian life and appointed Mr Paul Apollos as a Tamil Teacher at the Nagercoil LMS Seminary. In the Seminary Mr Paul Apollos proved himself as an excellent and efficacious Teacher and won the love and respect of the Staff and Students.  Mr. Paul Apollos also got the privilege to teach Tamil to the newly arrived  European English Missionaries . His hold on English language  was an additional advantage to him over other native Teachers . As a regular, sincere  and contemplative Reader  of the Holy Bible Mr Paul Apollos  became a Bible scholar and so he taught Students who prepared themselves  to write  the Peter Cator examination and every year Mr. Paul Apollos'  Students won the  First prize and Second Prize ii the Peter Cator Examination . Nagercoil LMS Seminary assumed the name as Scott Christian High School in course of time .Mr. Paul Apollos  qualified himself as a Tamil Pandit and served in the Scott Christian High School as a Tamil teacher and Scott Christian College as Tamil Pundit with great distinction for nearly 50  years 

Mr. Paul Apollos 's Married life and Children .  Mr Paul Apollos married a pious lady by name Ms. Gnanappu  from a good Christian family and God blessed Mr. Paul Apollos and Mrs. Gnanappu Paul Apollos with all the conjugal blessings and this couple gave birth to some smart children but the names of all the children are  not available [the names will be provided later ] except  one son by name Mr. A.T.Paul . So I will deal with Mr A.T. Paul and his family here Mr. A.T. Paul, B.A, L.T, married Ms Danie from a well educated Christian family . Mr. A.T. Served in the Kannan Devan Hills Plantation Company, Munar, for more than three decades as an illustrious High School Teacher and finally he retired as a Labour Welfare Officer of Kannan Devan Hills Plantation Company , Munar   and he was remembered for his enviable  hold on English language and integrity. God blessed the conjugal life Mr. . A.T. Paul, B.A , L.T  and Ms Danie Paul and this couple gave birth to the  following children namely ;-[1]Ms. Helen Gladys and she married Mr David Packya Joss and this couple gave birth to a smart son by name Mr. Prince Godfrey David ; [2] Ms. Danly Edith Justin, M.Sc. and she worked as Professor of Zoology in Women's Christian College Nagercoil . She married Mr .R. Justin and he served as Mathematics Lecturer at the Marathandam Christian College, [3]  Ms. Daisy Titus and she served as Lady Extension Educator in Chennai corporation  and she married Mr P. Justin and Mr Justin worked as Professor of English and this couple is blessed with a daughter by name Ms Anita Titus, [ 4] Ms. Dr. Mercy Paul, M.Sc, Ph.D,  and she worked as H.O.D. and Professor of Home Science at the famous Avinasilingam College and [5] Mrs. Angeline Mohana Johnson , M.Sc, M.Ed, [M.Phil ]and she worked for some years at the Scott Christian College Nagercoil as a Botany Lecturer and she married  Mr. Edwin Johnson, B.Pharm [Mr Edwin Johnson had the privilege to work as a Pharmacist in some foreign companies and Countries and later he served as Correspondent of Christian Matriculation School, Nagercoil with great efficacy ] and this couple gave birth to two sons namely ;-[a] Mr, Godwin Johnson, B.E, [ Digital Multi Media]   and he is working in USA  and he married Ms. Er. Praveena, B.E, and this couple is blessed with a son by name Mr Kavin and he is doing his 5th Std in USA, [b] Mr Edwin Calvin Paul , M.A, B.B.A, LL.B, Dip in French, and German and he works  from home ./

 Mr. Paul Appolos was elected as a Deacon of Nagercoil Home Church .   Mr Paul Appollos was a  man of God and a staunch Christian believer and he attended the Worship Services on Sunday and other Church services during week days  at the Nagercoil Home Church [ LMS--CSI ] regularly .. The Home Church Members elected Mr Paul Apollos  as a Deacon of the Church in 1891 . Mr. Paul Apollos served as a Deacon of the Nagercoil Home Church with great dedication,conscience and distinction for nearly 37 years till his death  on 2nd August , 1928.

Mr. Paul Apollos worked as Secretary of Nagercoil YMCA   :  Mr. Paul Apollos was having a great concern for the spiritual and intellectual growth and development of the youth  and he had the privilege to work as the Secretary of the Nagercoil YMCA  for 16 years. during the period of Rev. Dr. Duthie  It would be appropriate to say a few lines about Nagercoil YMCA. . Nagercoil YMCA enjoys an enviable and unique position among the YMCAs at the national level because  YMCA at Nagercoil was established before the formation of the National Council of YMCA India. Many persons of global and national  eminence had served as Presidents and Secretaries of Nagercoil YMCA  and Mr Paul Apollos was one among them . Mr. Paul Apollos as Secretary of YMCA, Nagercoil had played an important and pivotal role with great vision for the development of the body, mind and soul of  youth of this nation , through  Nagercoil YMCA.

Mr. Paul Appollos was a Great Author   :   :Mr. Paul Apollos was not only a great Speaker , Teacher in Tamil but also  a great Author and he had authored two important and famous Books in Tamil namely :-[1] Rethna Sironmoni and [2] Yesu Christhunathar Charithra Sangrakam [  London Mission press , 1930, pages 500 . Mr Paul Apollos during his old age wrote this monumental book and gave the manuscript of the Book  to the LMS .Press Nagercoil for Printing but unfortunately he became sick and the release of the book was delayed and it was published only in 1930.  The  book YesuChristhunathar Charithra Sangrakam  is really a masterpiece work of Mr Paul Apollos. in this voluminous  book  Mr Paul Apollos narrates  the life history of Jesus Christ in enchanting Tamil . This book consists of Seven kandams [Parts] namely [1] Bala Kandam [ Introduction] , Uthyogakandam [ The Office], [3] Galilae Kandaam [ The Galilaean Ministry], [4] Yuthaya kandam [The Judaean Ministry], [5] Vupathesa kandam [ The teaching] . [6] Marana kandam [ The death] and [7] Vuyirththezhuthal kandam [ The resurrection }. These 7 kandams cover 500 pages . This book is written in an unique style and  the History of Jesus Christ is recorded in the four Gospel in the Bible  is analysed , interpreted  in the light of prophesies foretold in the Bible and important passages and verses  are explained with their spiritual  meaning . This book  has become a forgotten book . This book proves Mr Pual Apollos was  a great Christian Thinker, Theologian,Author  Bible Scholar and a staunch believer and follower of Jesus Christ .

Conclusion       :  Unfortunately Mr Paul Apollos had become a forgotten Christian Leader, We can say that  he had become an Unsung Hero .He was a versatile man, his proficiency in Tamil was remarkable. Mr. Paul Apollos had the privilege and honour to serve as a Member of Tamil Bible Revision Committee for two years. Mr Paul Apollos also had the honour to serve as a Member  in the Lyric Book Revision Committee for some years.   Mr Paul Apollos was an unassuming man  with great moral values. The General Assembly of S.I.U.C.[ The South India United Church ] was held at Nagercoil during Sept 11- 15 ,1921, to discuss about the need  for the Formation of a United Protestant Church in South India by uniting all the Protestant Churches functioning in South India . Mr Paul Apollos participated in the historical meeting as a Member of the Travancore Church Council  along with Rev. J.M. Kesari , Rev. R.H. Eastaff, M.A, B.D, Mr. Paul Daniel, M.A, and other important members of the Travancore Church Council .  Mr. Paul Apollos and his family members controlled the commanding height  of the Travancore Church Council.[LMS}. He was a compassionate man and he was  always kind towards the poor people.  He was a great Christian believer and took active interest in all Church  related activities. On 2nd August 1928 Mr Paul Apollos was promoted to glory . L.M.S. Missionary Rev Eastaff on hearing the demise of Mr Paul Apollos wrote in the famous news paper London Chronicle that "Mr Paul Apollos was a True Christian and a Tamil Bede" . There can be no better tribute to Mr Paul Apollos than the words of Rev Eastaff .It is not possible to record all the aspects and accomplishments  of Mr Paul Apollos  within the space of this Article and I will end this Article with the  following sentence , " Mr Paul Apollos was a true Christian, a good Samaritan , Bible Scholar, adorable Tamil Author ,and a compassionate gentleman and we are proud of him "

Dr. A.S. Rajasekhar's Parents and His Birth     : Some decades ago there lived a gentleman and Teacher in Nanjil Nadu in kanyakumari district and his name was Mr A. Sundaradhas and he lived happily with his beloved wife Ms Sathabaranam [ Mrs. Sathabaranam was a native of Thazhakudy village ] . God blessed Mr. Sundara Dhas and Mrs. Sathabaranam Sundaradhas with all the conjugal and other blessings and this couple gave birth to Dr. A.S. Rajasekhar on 19th December 1950 .  Mr. A. Sundaradhas worked as a Government Primary School Teacher for many years and finally he worked as Head Master of the Government Primary School at Erulappapuram and retired from service. 

Dr. A.S. Rajasekhar's Siblings    : God blessed Mr.A.Sundaradhas and Ms Sathabaranam Sundaradhas with all the connubial blessings and this couple gave birth to the following children namely :- [1] Ms.Mercy Stella  Bai, B.Sc [late]and she worked in the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation, Nagercoil  as an Office Staff and and retired as office Superintendent. Ms. Mercy Stella Bai married Mr Rajamony, M.A, B.Ed and this couple gave birth to the  following children namely ;[a] Mr. Dr. R.Ezhil, M.D.S, and [b] Mr. Er. R.Selvam, B.E . Mr Rajamony, M.A, B.Ed,  served in the School Education Department , Government of Tamil Nadu and retired as District Educational Officer [ D.E.O], and [2] Dr. A.S. Rajasekhar, M.B.B.S, D.Orho [ the Hero of this Article].

Dr. A.S. Rajasekhar's Educational Career     :  Dr. A.S. Rajasekhar did his Primary School studies at the government Primary School at Cherupallur, Kulasekaram and pursued his Middle School and  High School studies at the famous D.V.D. School, Nagercoil and passed  his S.S.L.C in 1966. Dr. A.S. Rajasekhar did his P.U.C at the famous Scott Christian College, Nagercoil and passed his P.U.C examination with Distinction marks[ Tamil D, Biology D and Chemistry D.Plus]   He pursued his M.B.B.S at Tirunelveli Government  Medical College  and passed his M.B.B.S in 1974. He did his House Surgeon Training at the prestigious Stanley Govt Medical College Hospital in Chennai . He did his Senior House Surgeon Training  at  Rajaji Government  Medical College in Madurai [1978-1979 ]. Dr. A.S. Rajasekhar pursued his D.Ortho Course at the famous Madras Medical College [ 1981- 1982] and passed his  D.Ortho in the year 1982.

          Dr. A.S. Rajasekhar, M.B.B.S, D.Ortho and Mrs Kala Merlin Rajasekhar, B.Sc, [M.A],.

Dr. A.S. Rajasekhar's  Wife and Child       :  : Dr.A.S.Rajasekhar married Ms Kala Merlin , B.Sc, [M.A, Eng.Litt], daughter of Mr Manickam and Mrs Rebecca Manickam on the 22nd October, 1984 . God blessed Dr. A.S. Rajasekhar and Mrs kala Merlin Rajasekhar  and this couple gave birth to a female child  and  Dr. A.S.Rajasekhar and Ms. kala Rajasekhar christened their  female child as Saveetha Rancie .. Ms Saveeitha Rancie has passed her B.Tech and  M.Tech[ Bio-Tech] in flying colours.

Dr. A.S. Rajasekhar's Professional Track    : Immediately after the completion of his  House Surgeon Training in Stanley Medical College, Chennai Dr. A.S. Rajasekhar joined Neyoor CSI Hospital as an Assistant Surgeon and worked there for six months.. Again after having passed his D. Ortho Dr. A.S. Rajasekar joined the CSI Neyoor Hospital and worked as  Orthopaedic  Surgeon  for nearly two years [ 1982-1984]. In 1984 Dr. A.S. Rajasekhar  was selected as an Assistant Civil Surgeon  in the Tamil Nadu Medical Service , and so he joined the Thakalay Government Hospital in 1984 as an Assistant Civil Surgeon  and worked nearly for two years.  . In the year 1987 Dr. A.S. Rajasekhar went to Libya to work as Orthopaedic  Surgeon  and worked in Libya for nearly three years [1987- 1989 ]  and returned to India . On return from Libya Dr. A.S Rahasekhar joined  at the Kanyakumari District Government Head Quarters Hospital at Nagercoil as an Assistant Civil Surgeon and served in the same hospital  with great dedication and efficiency and he was promoted as Civil Surgeon in 2003.  In the year 2004 Dr. A.S. Rajasekhar was transferred to the kanyakumari Medical College at Asaripallam and he worked as R.M.O at the kanyakumari Govt Medical with great dedication, integrity and efficacy and retired from Government Medical Service on December 2008..

Dr. A.S. Rajasekhar's  Professional Track after his Retirement from Government Service    : After his retirement from Government medical service in 2008,   Dr. A.S..Rajasekhar worked as R.M.O. at the Balaji Medical College , Chrompet , Chennai for nearly 6 months.. Then he worked as Orthopaedic Surgeon at the famous E.S. Hospital at Vilupuram for one  year. Then he worked at the Trivandrum Surgical Centre as Orthopaedic  Surgeon with enviable dedication and efficiency for one year. . Now works as an Orthopaedic  Consultant from his home 

Conclusion   :  Dr, A.S. Rajasekhar is a self made man and a devoted, efficacious and outstanding  Orthopaedic Surgeon . After his retirement he opened his Private Orthopaedic Consulting Clinic at Asaripallam  and  he charged very minimum consultation fee from the Patients and after some years due to some inevitable reasons he closed that Clinic.  Dr. A.S. Rajasekhar  was a brilliant student during his student days. He never hesitates  to talk openly  about his convictions, conclusions and opinions . He is a God fearing man . As a   honest and efficacious Orthopaedic Surgeon he had saved the lives of many accident victims and had cured of hundreds of people who suffered from orthopaedic disorders  .He is very honest  and unassuming . He loves his dear wife and beloved daughter so much. He has the grit to face the challenges that confront him with great confidence and mental grit. It is not possible to accommodate all the aspects and accomplishments of his real life story within the space of this Article. Dravid Paravasam and he married Ms. Vasantha and this couple worked and retired as School H.Ms and this couple's son  Mr Babu Ezhilvarman is working as Head Master in the IELC School for the Blind, at  Bargur.. .

Poet P.N. John Sundaram was a born  Poet     :  Tamil Christian Poet Mr. P.N. John Sundaram was a born Poet . He served as a Primary School Teacher at Vaniyambadi and he underwent one year Theological Training at the Concordia Theological Seminary, Nagercoil  and served as a  MELIM Lutheran Catechist  in Vaniyambadi area.  He also served as  School Warden at Ambur .  He loved Dr. Martin Luther and the Theological enlightenment brought out by Dr. Martin Luther. He imbibed the salient features  enshrined in the 95 Theses written and nailed by Dr Marin Luther on the door of Wittenburg Church on the 31 October 1517 . Poet P.N. John Sundaram imparts the  central message of Dr. Luthers 95 theses through his simple Tamil Christian Lyrics.  Tamil Christian Poet Mr. P. N. And all these meaningful and melodious lyrics are being in Tamil Lutheran Churches in the services held in Reformation Sunday every year. . A  genuine perusal of these lyrics will reveal the Poet's hold on  Dr. Martin Luther's theses and Theology[ What is generally called as Lutheran Theology]. His Lyrics vividly and cogently reveal that by good deeds man can not  be saved and justified in the presence of God  but man will be saved by the grace of God through man's Faith in Jesus Christ. . . 

Conclusion    : Creativity is a rare gift given to man by God , Even though our Poet P.N. John Sundaram was not very highly educated in Theology but his grasp over the Word of God and Theses of Dr. Martin Luther was really  marvellous, mind blowing  and astonishing .  He was a  balanced and impartial Thinker and Man. Poet Mr. P.N. John Sundaram  used to give impartial and wise  judgements and solutions to solve the  petty  quarrels, disputes and petitions brought to his attention by the Village people  in  Village Panchayat  meetings. So  the Government  noticed his judging capacity and integrity and appointed Mr. P.N. John Sundaram as a Honorary Magistrate to serve as Honorary Magistrate for 18 villages located around Vaniyambadi. Mr. P.N. John Sundariam served as a Hononorary Magistrate with great distinction, and integrity.  Now he is no more with us. but he lives in our memories. because of his noble deeds and remarkable  accomplishments    He was a great Social Thinker  and a great Egalitarian and he wanted equality and fraternity among fellow citizens and he played a pivotal role to conduct a district level social Conference at Vaniyambadi in December 1928, for the cause of social justice.. His lyrics and songs are very simple but beautiful and thought provoking and it will be gratifying to remember one fact here that the Former General Secretary of C.LS, late Dr. Dayanandan Francis had written an Article about Poet Mr. P.N. John Sundaram in his Tamil book Christhava Arutkavinjarhal, " and it is not possible to accommodate all of his accomplishments and aspects  of his real life story within the  space of this single Article  We need a detailed Biography about late Tamil Christian Poet Mr. P.N. Introduction    :   The current Deputy Director of  280- Bed, C.S.I. Holdsworth Memorial Hospital,  Mysore  Dr. J. Reuben Prakash,  M.B.B.S, M.S,  hails from an illustrious Christian family from South India and he is an  unassuming gentleman, intelligent and compassionate medical doctor, relentless hard worker, humanitarian, service minded Christian . His father late Rev. Dr. Jackayya  worked as a Theology Professor in the Nagercoil  Concordia Theological Seminary for more than two decades [ 1956--1979 ]  and retired as its first Indian Principal. Dr. J. Reuben Prakash's illustrious and service minded  medical career in the C.S.I. Holdsworth Memorial Hospital, Mysore [ CSI Mission Hospital, Mysore ] for more than two decades without any Private Practising,  automatically deserves our love and respect . Dr. J. Reuben Prakash's  dignified life and service minded medical career will definitely galvanise the readers, youth,his fellow citizens and fellow  Church going Christians  to lead a meaningful life.

Dr. J. Reuben Praksh's Parents and His Birth     :  As. Dr. Reuben Prakash's  father late Rev.Dr. B.H Jackayya was working  as a Theology Professor at  Nagercoil Concordia Theological Seminary for nearly 23 years since 1956 till 1979, Dr. B.H. Jackayya and his beloved wife Ms Grace Kamalam Jackayya were living inside the Nagercoil Concordia Theolgical Seminary Compound . God blessed Rev.Dr. Jackayya and Ms Grace Kamalam Jackayya with all the conjugal blessings  and this couple gave birth to Dr. Reuben Prakash on the 14th September 1962 at Nagercoil.

Dr. J. Reuben Prakash's Siblings   : God blessed Rev. Dr. B.H. Jackayya and Ms Grace kamalam Jackayya with all the connubial blessings and they gave birth to the following children namely :- [1]  Ms. Emeline karunavathy , B.A, and she married Dr..Jeya Chandra Masilamani , B.E, M.S [U..S], Ph.D [US] from Nagercoil [ Son of Former Head Master  of Nagercoil Concordia High School ]and Dr. Jeya Chandra Masilamani retired as Professor of Industrial Engineering , Pennsylvania University, USA ; and this couple is blessed with one son and a daughter namely;-[a] Mr. Er J. Naveen, B.E, MBA, [US] and [b]  Ms J. Jean , B.S, M.B.A[ US] ;[2]  Rev. Adiss Arnold, M.A, B.D, M.Th, and he married Ms J.P. Saulina , M.A[ Social Work] and this couple is blessed with the following children namely :-[a]Dr. A.P. Jonathan Arnold, M.B.B.S, M.D, [b] Mr. Er. Anupam Issachar  Arnold, B.E,{Electronics and Communication Engineering]. Rev. Adiss Arnold worked as  a former Professor at the famous  Gurukul Lutheran Theological College, Chennai ;[3] Ms Eunice kalavathy , M.Sc, B.Ed and she married Rev. Gideon Devanesan of Arcot Lutheran Church[ ALC] and he retired as Bishop of A.L.C. God blessed this couple with all the conjugal blessings and this couple gave birth to the  following children namely :_[a] Mr. Prasanna David , M.C.A, and he is working as a Lecturer in an Engineering College and he married Ms. Sowmya [daughter of Rev Joy of Nagercoil Concordia Theological Seminary], and [b] Ms Hannah, M.Sc, Ph.D, and formerly she worked at the University of Pittsburg School of Medicine , U.S, as a  Staff and Researcher and now she is in India living with her Parents in Thiruvannamalai, and [4 ] Dr.J. Reuben Prakash, M.B.B.S, M.S[ General Surgery] and he is the Hero of this Article .

Dr. Reuben Prakash's  Educational Track     :  Dr. J. Reuben Prakash did his Primary School [classes 1 to 5th classes] at the Lutheran Primary School, Nagercoil and pursued his Middle School and High School at the famous Carmel High School, Nagercoil, .and passed his S.S.L.C,[ 10th Std] in the year 1978 with good marks.  Dr. J. Reuben Prakash did his Plus One at the Scott Christian High School, Nagercoil and did his Plus Two at the famous Madras Christian College Higher Secondary School, Chennai . After having passed his Plus Two examination he pursued his B.Sc[ Zoology] at the famous Madras Christian College,Thambaram and while he was doing his Third year B.Sc he got admission for his M.B.B.S. medical course at the famous St John'f medical College in Bangalore .a So he joined St. John's Medical College for his Fist year M.B.B.S,in the year 1982  and passed his M.B.B.S, in the year 1987. After having passed his M.B.B.S.  in 1987 Dr. Reuben Prakash  did his medical Rural Service  in a Hospital run by the Holy Cross sisters at  Prakashpuram Village at Male Mahadeshwara Hills [Betta], Hanur taluk  , Southern  Karnataka for nearly two years and six months [ 1987 July to December 1990 ] with great enthusiasm and dedication . In 1990 Dr. Reuben Prakash pursued his M.S,{General Surgery] at the famous St John's Medical College Bangalore and passed his M.S {General Surgery] in the year 1994 meritoriously .

Dr. Reuben Prakash's Wedding and His Wife and her Siblings   : Dr. J. Reuben Prakash married Ms Esther Suguna Bai, M.Sc, B.Ed , daughter of  C.S.I. Pastor Rev. Yesupatham [ Vellore CSI Diocese ] from Valaiyathur village , Arcot Taluka , Vellore District  on 25th June 1993 at the I.E.L.C. Bethel Lutheran church at Kollegala .. It would be appropriate to write  a few lines about  Ms. Esther Suguna Bai Reuben's siblings here . Ms Esther Suguna Bai is blessed with three brothers and one sister namely :-[a] Mr. Nelson Bakthavachalam, B.E [ Chemical engineer] worked in a private chemical Company ,[b]  Mr. Joel l [ Lab Technician,]., [c] Mr. Asir [ Male Nurse ] , [d] Ms Kiruba and she worked as a Middle School Teacher in the famous Bishop Cotton High School, Bangalore .

Dr.  J. Reuben Prakash's Children      : God blessed Dr.J. Dr.J. Reuben Prakash's Professional Track ,{ First Phase } ; After having passed his M.S[ General Surgery]  Dr. Reuben Prakash joined C.M.C. Vellore and worked as a General Surgeon in the General Surgery department  with Dr.S.R. Banerjee Jesudason for two years [ 1994-- 1996 ]. . In 1996 he moved to Mysore and  joined the famous C.S.I. Holdsworth Memorial Hospital in Mysore as a General Surgeon and Laproscopic Surgeon  and started to work with great devotion  and Dr. J. Reuben Prakash  was promoted as the Head of the General Surgery Department in the year 2002.

Dr. Reuebn Prakash's Sabbatical leave and Higher Surgical Training in UK   : In December 2002 the CSI Holdsworth Memorial Hospital Administration gave Dr. J. Reuben Prakash a sabbatical leave to pursue Higher Surgical Training in U.K[ NHS].   From January 2003 till June 2006 Dr. Reuben Prakash  underwent Higher Surgical Training in Hepato-biliary and Colorectum and Breast surgeries and after having completed his Higher Surgical Training in N.H.S, U.K,  Dr. Reuben Prakash returned to India and rejoined as the Head of the General Surgery department in the same C.S.I .Holdsworth Memorial Hospital in Mysore in June 2006.  Dr. Reuben Prakash  started to serve the sick people with new vigour, competence and dedication

Dr. Reuben Prakash  Served as Acting Director of C.S.I . Holdsworth Memorial Hospital, Mysore  Dr.J. Reuben Prakash got the privilege to  serve as the Acting Director of  C.S.I. Holdsworth Memorial Hospital Mysore for two years [ 2008---2010 ] and he did full justice to his new august assignment and responsibility. . 

Dr. Reuben Prakash was promoted as Deputy Director of CSI Holdsworth Memorial Hospital, Mysore  : In recognition of his devoted and efficacious  service to the patients  through CSI Holdsworth Memorial Hospital, Mysore Dr. J. Reuben Prakash, M.B.B.S, M.S, was promoted as Deputy Director of the CSI Holdsworth Memorial Hospital, Mysore in  2016 and simultaneously he worked  as the Head of the General Surgery Department of this CSI Mission Hospital. Mysore  with great competence,, care , concern and  compassion . 

Dr. J.Reuben Prakash works as  a P.G Teacher for DNB Course   :  The Government of India recognised The CSI Holdsworth Memorial Hospital in Mysore as a recognised  Teaching Medical Institution to conduct  Diplomate National Board [DNB ]  courses in General Surgery, General Medicine, Paediatrics, and Obstetrics and Gynaecology  in 2008. and  Dr. Reuben Prakash has been  teaching the D.N.B.Course PG students since 2008  with great efficacy and the DNB  pass percentage has been very high  consistently since the commencement of the DNB PG Courses in this hospital  Dr. reuben prakash also serves as Examiner for the DNB  course.  

Conclusion      : Dr. Reuben Prakash, M.B.B.S, M.S, after having served the CSI Holdsworth Memorial Hospital , Mysore for more than  two decades with great distinction, devotion, he retired from his regular Medical Service in the year 2020. While serving in this CSI Mission Hospital Mysore he won the hearts of the  Doctors, Office staff and specially the hearts of the patients and the  common and poor  people  who come to the Hospital for medical treatments . The CSI  Diocese of  Southern Karnataka sincerely wanted the medical service of Dr. Reuben Prakash  in the CSI Holdsworth Memorial Hospital, Mysore even after his retirement  and so the CSI Diocese of Southern karnataka requested  the Higher Administration of the CSI Mission Hospital Mysore to give superannuation  to Dr. Reuben Prakash  to  continue his medical service and their request was granted by the competent authority. So currently Dr.J.Reuben Prakash serves in the prestigious CSI Holdsworth Memorial  Hospital in Mysore as its Deputy Director, Head of General Surgery Department, Surgeon [ general surgery] and Laparoscopic Surgeon . In this context it would be useful to the readers to remember the origin  of  this famous CSI Mission Hospital, Mysore. Around 1900 Methodist Missionaries by name Mrs.Mary Calvert Holdsworth and Mr . Holdsworth  began their  medical service with great compassion among the poor and plague affected  people who lived in Viranageri area  in Mysore  and took initial step to build a Mission Hospital  to serve the medical cause of the poor people who were without proper medical care in the poor outskirts. However while  the Mission Hospital Construction Work was In- Progress Mrs Mary Calvert died . Through the efforts taken by Rev G.W. Sawday the Missionary Hospital construction was completed  and this Mission  Hospital  was opened by the then Maharaja of Mysore in 1906,  and it was consecrated to the service of God in the Ministry of Healing and to the memory of Ms Mary Calvert Holdsworth.  Since September 1947 this Mission Hospital is being called as C.S.I.Holdsworth Mission Hospital, Mysore.   Dr Reuben Prakash loves his family, School Friends, fellow human beings and toy cars . He also loves Trekking with his friends. He loves to visit and see foreign countries and  accordingly he has visited , U.K, U.S.A, Australia, Malaysia, France, Italy, Bahrain and Nepal.   He has inherited social service trait  from his beloved father late Rev Dr. B.H. Jackayya . It is not possible  to accommodate all  the accomplishments and aspects of Dr. Reuben Prakash's real life story  within the space of this Article and so I will end this Article with the following sentence ," Dr. Reuben Prakash Jackayya is an efficacious Surgeon, talented Professor , Honest, Unassuming ,Companion of the  poor  and above all  indeed he is  a Good Human Being and we thank God Him and proud of him ".

A Forgotten Pioneer Tanjore Mission Missionary, Adopted son of the Revd Fr. C.F.Schwartz , A Pastor Who Baptised Maharasan Vethamanickam of Mylaudy, A Missionary who was Really Responsible for the Spread of Protestant Christianity in South Travancore The Revd. John Caspar Kohlhoff of Tanjore .

                                               

Introduction   :  Late Revd John Caspar Kohlhoff of Tanjore Mission was a remarkable Man of God and forgotten Missionary. The Protestant Christians of South Travancore are bound to remember the great historical part played by late Rev John Caspar  Kohlhoff of Tanjore Mission with great gratitude and indelible memories for what he had done for the  spread of Christianity in South Travancore by baptising Mylaudy Maharasan  in 1799 at Tanjore  [ C.M. Agur, B.A, Church History of Travancore, page 441 ]. On one Sunday  while preaching at the garden Church at Schwartz garden , Thanjavur, [ now it is called   CSI St Peters Church Tanjore], Rev John Caspar Kohlhoff  saw the Travancore Pilgrim Mylaudy Maharasan, who later became the real Founder of the Protestant Church in Travancore [Rev.I.H. Hacker , A Hundred Years In Travancoe, 1908,p.20]  and his brother's son  Sivagurunathan in yellow dress inside the small Church located inside Schwatrz Garden, Maharnonbu Chavadi, [later it was named as St. Peter's Church ] instantly he recognised the importance of Maharasan and after the service  Rev. J.C. Kohlhoff approached Mylaudy Maharasan and won his heart by conveying the  love and concern of Christ for all human-beings.  Subsequently after having taught about the basics of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ and by the grace of God, to Mr Mylaudy. Maharasan and his nephew Mr Sivagurunathan.,Rev. John Caspar kohlhoff baptised Maharasan with a new name Vedamanickam and Mr Sivagurunathan as Masillamani . It would be appropriate to know the concise history of C.S.I.St. Peter's Church in Thanjavur . Originally this Church was a small and unnamed Church; it was founded by the Rev. Fr. Schwartz in Schwartz Garden presented to him by Tulja Maharaj of Thanjavur, located in Maharnonbu Chavadi in Thnjavur. The Rev. C.F. Schwartz was the first Pastor of this small church and served in this Church from 1770 till 1793[ Rev. C.F. Schwartz  died on 13th February, 1798]; and he was succeeded by his adopted son Rev. John Caspar Kohlhoff . In 1827 a Missionary by name Rev. Peter made some needed changes in the Church structure so as to encompass  the graves of Rev. C.F. Schwartz and his adopted son and successor Rev.John Caspar kohlhoff .   But Rev. Peter died before the completion of the construction of this Church. However this Church was consecrated on 31st January 1845 by Bishop Spencer Paul and this Church was named "St Peter's Church" after Rev Peter . As the number of believers increased  Rev. William Herbert Blake of SPG, Tanjore built a new Church near the original Church in the same compound and the new Church was consecrated on 18th October 1900.  St. Peter's Church, Thanjavur was amalgamated with the Church of South India on 27th September 1947 , and since then  this Church is being called as C.S.I. St. Peter's Church, Thanjavur. God used the baptised Mylaudy Maharasan  Vedamanicakm as a powerful tool to sow the words of  Jesus Christ in South Travancore and to win souls for Christ . A perusal of the Protestant Church History will reveal that in many ways Rev John Caspar Kohlhoff helped, guided and galvanised Mylaudy Maharasan Vedamanaicakm to be a powerful, purposeful and soul winning pioneer native  Evangelist  in South Travancoere .

The Rev.J.C.Kohlhoff's Family    : Rev. John Caspar kohlhoff was a scion of an illustrious Lutheran Christian and literary family and his parents hailed from Neuwarp, Pommerania, Europe and  it would be really useful to know some more information about the famous Kohlhoff family.. A Forefather of Kohlhoff family one Mr Caspar Kohlhoff [ Senior]  was the Burgomaster [ Master of the citizens -- Chairman of the Executive council or Cabinet]  of Neuwarp in the bay of Stetin  and he married Ms Regina Hesse the daughter of  Elias Hesse and granddaughter of the the great  German Latin Poet Eobanus Hesse [ Helius Eobanus Hessus] a great  follower of Dr. Marin Luther..   Eobanus Hesse was a great German Latin Poet of his time . Eobanus Hesse  was a student of Mr Ludwig Stippius,  a great Confidant of Dr. Marin Luther.  Helius Eobanius Hessus was appointed as Professor of Latin at an University and he took  active part in the contemporary religious, political and literary conversations and issues of his time. Mr.Helius Eobanius Hesse gave his full support for Dr. Martin Luther and the Reformation till his death in October 1540. Mr Caspar Kohlhoff [Senior]and his wife Miss Regina Hesse gave birth to 4 daughters and 3 sons and this couple's third child and eldest son Rev John Balthasar kohlhoff was born in November 1711 at Neuwarp. . Mr John Balthasar Kohlhoff studied at the Rostock Academy and Halle University till 19th September 1736, and was ordained at Copenhagen on 7th October 1736.

Rev. John Balthasar Kohlhoff Reached Tranquebar,  in  1737   : In December 1736, Rev. John Balthasar Kohlhoff along with his brother Missionaries Rev.Obuch and Rev Wiedebrock  reached London Town and stayed in London for sometime with Rev. F M. Ziegenbagen , the then Chaplain to His Majesty King George 11[ Second], till March 1737, and embarked to India with his brother missionaries  and  landed at  Madras on the 4th of July 1737. Rev. John Balthasar kohlhoff  continued his travel and arrived at Tranquebar on 19th August 1737; and he mastered Tamil quickly and preached his historical Firt Sermon in Tamil on 23rd December, 1737 and afterwards there was no turning back in his ministerial career.. [ C.M. Agur, p.p. 437 & 438].

Rev John Balthasar Kohlhoff's Children    : Rev . John Balthasar  Kohlhoff married twice , first he married Ms Margeretha Wilhelmina Vosges and by her he had two daughters ; and then he married Ms Petronella Thorsen [ called in Tranquebar History as Pernile Thors]  and by Ms Peronella J. Balthasar kohlhoff,  Rev. John Balthasar Kohlhoff had 3 sons and one daughter namely -[1] Rev. John Caspar Kohlhoff [ The Hero of this Article] , born in 1762,[2] Mr. Elias Eobanus kohlhoff, born in 1764, [3] Mr. Daniel Frederick kohlhoff , born in 1766, and [4] Ms Dorothea Elizabeth Borgen, born in 1768.

Rev John Caspar Kohlhoff was adopted and Ordained by Rev.Fr. Schwartz of Tanjore    : Rev. John Balthasar Kohlhoff and Rev. Fr. Schwartz were great Missionaries and great friends and were working as Missionaries in Tranquebar and in its surroundings..Rev. J. Caspar Kohlhoff son of Rev. J. Balthasar Kohlhoff was born at Tranquebar on 23rd May ,1762 [ baptised 29, May 1762.]  As per the oral agreement made between Rev. John Balthasar Kohlhoff and Rev. Schwartz , Rev. Schwartz adopted  Rev, John Balthasar's first born  male child Rev. John Caspar Kohlhoff and brought up him . Rev.Schwartz  ordained Rev. John Caspar Kohlhoff on 23rd January 1787 at Tranquebar [J. FERD. FENGER, History of the Tranquebar Mission , Tranquebar, 1863, p.318]

The Marriage of Rev John Caspar Kohlhoff and his Children  ;  Rev. John Caspar Kohlhoff married Ms Christina Magdalena Horst on the 1st July 1811 , daughter of Rev. Horst and sister of Mrs Charles Mead and Mrs William Miller . [ C.M. Agur, p. 438 ]. Rev. John Caspar Kohlhoff and Ms Christina Magdalena Horst Kohlhoff were blessed by God with all the conjugal blessings and this couple gave  birth to the following children namely : [1]  Mr. John Schwartz Adolphus Arthur Kohlhoof  on  November 5th, 1813, and   Mr John. S. A. A. Kohlhoff  entered  the Cochin Government Service as Conservator of Forests, [2] Mr. Christian Samuel Kohlhoff  and he was born on May 14, 1815 at Tanjore, [3] Ms . Sophhia Eliza Harley and she was born on may 27, 1820, ,[4] Ms Charlotte Caroline Schmitz and she was born on November 15, 1821, [5] Ms Mary Ann Elizabeth Heyne and she was born on June 11, 1823 at Tanjore . [ Mr. .Harley, Mr. Schmitz and Mr Heyne were Christain Missionaries.]. 

 

Rev. John Caspar Kohlhff  served as Pastor of St Peter,s Church, Tanjore   : The famous Danish Missionary Rev. Fr. Frederick Christian Schwartz  worked as the Pastor of the St. Peter's Chruch, Thanjavur from 1770 to 1793 . . Rev, C.F. Swartz ordained his adopted son Rev. John Caspar Kohlhoff  on 23rd January 1787 . Rev. John Caspar Kohlhoff worked as the Pastor of the St. Peter's Church at Thanjavur for a many years from 1787  till his death in 1844, with great distinction, compassion and concern for human souls . .While serving as the Pastor of this old Protestant Church  St. Peter's Church, Thanjavur , Rev. John Caspar  Kohlhoff  met Mylaudy Maharasan Vedamanickam and subsequently baptised Maharasan with new Christian name Vedamanickam ., as told in the first paragraph of this Article. 

Kohlhoff's Family's Link With South Travancore      :  Rev. John Balthasar Kohlhoff  gave birth to Mr. Daniel Frederick Kohlhoff [ Brother of Rev. John Caspar Kohlhoff of Thanjavur Mission, the Hero of this Article ], and  Mr. Daniel Frederick Kohlhoff gave birth to Mr Christian Frederick Kohlhoff [ 1810] , and Mr Christian Frederick gave birth to  Mr Charles Cornelius Kohlhoff [birth 1858  death 1909] and Mr Charles Cornelius Kohlhoff married Ms Celestina Florence Mead, a daughter  of Rev. Charles Mead and  Ms Lois Biddulph Mead[ a Daughter of great Tamil Christian Poet Mr Devaram Biddulph or Devaram Munshi and sister of Mrs. Joanna Carlotta Mead Agur ] from South Travancore[P. Babu Manoharan, Mr. C.M.AGUR, B.A and MANY OTHER MILESTONES p. 365 ] .Thus in many ways the famous Kohlhoff family of Tanjore mission  had a link with South Travancore.

Conclusion    :  Rev. John Balthasar Kohlhoff and Ms Elizabeth Pernile Thorsen Kohlhoff couple gave birth to Rev John Caspar Kohlhoff in Tranquebar on 23rd May, 1762 and after having served as Pastor of the St. Peter's Church,Thanjavur for 57 years with great dedication Rev. John Caspar kohlhoff died on 27th March 1844 and his mortal body was buried at St. Peter's Church Compound  in Thanjavur. Rev John Caspar Kohlhoff rendered valuable and timely help and guidance to his Co-Brother Rev. Charles Mead to spread Protestant Christianity in South T.ravancore. It would be appropriate to remember one important historical fact here that Rev. John Caspar Kohlhoff  sent Maharasan Vethamanickam with an introduction letter to meet Rev. Dr. John at Poreiyar and Maharasan Vedamanickam received some sound instructions and Tracts  from Dr. John [ C.M. Agur, p. 443] . Later during the second trip of m\Maharasan Vedamanicakm to Thanjavur to find a Foreign Christian missionary Rev John Caspar Kohlhoff  made arrangement for Maharasan Vethamanickam to meet the just arrived Foreign Missionaray Rev. Ringel Taube in Tranquebar [ Ibid, p. 451]. And we know these historical meetings of Maharasan Vedamanickam with Rev Dr. John and  Rev. Ringel Taube laid  the foundation of the Protestant Church in  South Travancore. Rev. John Caspar kohlhoff was a remarkable Man of God , he was a great Visionary, Social thinker, he worked till his death in 1844 for the  cause of the the Cross of Jesus Christ, he loved and respected the poor and the rich in the same way without any partiality . It is not possible to accommodate all the services  and intellectual and spiritual accomplishments of Rev. John Caspar kohlhoff within the space of this Article . Introduction  : A former SF grade Scientist / Engineer of  ISRO Propulson Complex at Mahendragiri   Mr. Er. C. Singh, M.E, was an innovative  Researcher, Relentless hard Worker and his indomitable will to come up in life deserves our appreciation and adoration . He hails from an unknown ,unsung and untold tiny idyllic  village called Puliyadivilai in Rajakkamangalam Block in Kanyakumari district. A perusal of his educational  and professional Trajectory will spontaneously arrest our attention and create an enviable and adorable impression about Er. C. Singh , M.E. in our minds.. Indeed his real life story is a shining and galvanising milestone in the field of Space Science Research, Education, Social Work and Social Service. He  started his career as a Technician and rose to the prestigious position of a an SF grade Senior Scientist / Engineer in the prestigious I.P.R.C and his accomplishment deserves our  applause and respect .

Mr. Er C, Singh, M.E, and His Parents and Birth    : Puliyadivilai  is an unsung, unnoticed , tiny idyllic village located in the Rajakkamangalam Block in Kanyakumari district . Puliyadivilai  is surrounded by verdant and fertile paddy fields and yielding coconut trees. In this beautiful Puliyadivilai  Village some decades ago lived a gentleman by name Mr. Sivanadiyan and he gave birth to a smart man by name Mr S. Chellappan and Mr Chellappan had been living in this pleasant Puliyanvillai village with his modest and loving wife Ms. S. Nallammal . Mr Chellappan and Ms Nallammal Chellappan couple gave birth to Mr C. Singh on the 30th May 1962.

Mr. C. Singh's Siblings .    Mr Chellappan and Ms S. Nallammal  Chellappan gave birth to the following children namely :- [1]  Mr .C. Babu and he worked in the Tamil Nadu Transport Corporation Workshop Depot, Nagercoil  and retired as a Senior Technician . Mr C. Babu married Ms Pushppam and this couple gave birth to the following children namely :- [a] Mr. B. Prabhu, M.Com, M.B.A, M.L.I.C, [b ]Mr. B. Pratheep, , [c] Mr. B. Pratheesh, D.E.E,; [2] Mr. C. Singh, M.E [ He is the Hero of this Article ],  [3] Mr. C. Rajasekar, M.A, and he is working as the Superintendent in the Social welfare Department, Govt of Tamil Nadu. at Kurunthangcodu and he married Ms Mala  and this couple gave birth to the following children namely :-[a]Mr. R. Aswanth and currently he is doing his B.L, [ 3rd year] , [b] Ms. Anusha Devi, and she is doing her Plus One ;[4] Ms. C. Vinital , D.E.E and she works as a SE grade Scientist in the prestigious I.S.R.O and she married Mr Shanmugam, MBA  and he is working in O G.C..as a Deputy Director . . Ms C. Vinital D.E.E and Mr Shanmugam couple gave birth to the following children namely ;-[a]  Ms Veni Sornamala , B.D.S and she is working as Dentist in a Private Hospital and [b] the Second daughter[ Name will be provided later] is doing her M.D.S and [c] the third daughter [ Name will be provided later]is  doing her first year M.B.B.S,.

Mr. C, Singh's Educational Track  [ First Phase ]  :  Mr C, Singh's educational track attracts the attention of the Readers with many curiosity and admiration . . Mr C. Singh did his Primary and Middle School Education in a RC Management Middle School [then] in Karangadu ,  and pursued his High School Education at the Government High School at Kandanvilai and passed his S.S.L.C in the year 1978. After having passed his  S.S.L.C, he did his  Plus One and Plus Two education at the famous Scott Christian Higher Secondary School at Nagercoil and passed his Plus Two examination in the year 1980 with high marks. . Due to his family situation he joined the Konam Government ITI  Institute and passed the Technical Certificate Course meritoriously. 

His  Educational Track Second Phase    : After having passed his ITI Certificate Mr C. Singh was selected by the ISRO and he joined Research and Development Department of ISRO as an A Grade  Technician in the year 1988. . While he was working in the ISRO as a Technician he pursued his D.M.E at the Konam Poly Technical College and passed his DME in 1994. with high marks. His natural thirst for education motivated Mr C. Singh to do Higher studies, so he pursued his B.E [1988--2002]  at the famous Govt Engineering College at Tirunelveli and passed his B.E [ Mechanical ],  in the year 2002 in First Class. , After having passed his  B.E, Mr C. Singh pursued his M.E[ Mechanical ] at the Anna University Engineering College in Nagercoil and passed his M.E,  in First Class.

Beginning of Mr C. Singh's  Professional Career  in ISRO  up to 1996      : As seen before he joined ISRO as an A Grade  Technician in the year 1988 and he was promoted as B Grade Technician in 1991 .He discharged his official professional duties with great devotion and efficiency and he was promoted as Technical Assistant in the year 1996. 

Mr C. Singh's Wife and Family   : While Mr C. Singh was working in the I.S.R.O,   he married Ms k.P. Ajitha, M.Sc, M.Ed, M.Phil, daughter of Mr. P. Kolappan and Ms Pangajam of Puthukadai Village in  December 1997 at Marthandam. Currently Ms.K.P .Ajiatha Singh is working as Head Mistress at the Government Higher Secondary School at Manikatti Pottal . It would be interesting and useful to know the fact that this Manikatti Pottakl village is the native Village of the famous Sahitya Akademi  Award Winner Mr Ponneelan . Mr C. Singh and Ms KP Ajitha Singh couple gave birth to the following children namely ;- [1] Ms. S. A. Siddhaarathini and currently she is doing her second year M.D.S, and [2] Mr. S.A. Balaji. and he is doing his Final year B.D.S, .. 

Ms K.P. Ajitha Singh's Siblings and families  : It would be useful to the Micro Historians and curious Readers to know some basic information about Ms Ajitha Singh's parents and siblings.. Ms Ajitha Singh's father Mr. P. Kolappan worked in the Veaterinary Departament , Govt of Tamil Nadu and retired as a Live Stock Inspector and Ms Ajitha Singh's mother Ms Pankajam Kolappan  worded as a Primary School Teacher and retired as a Govt Primary School Head Mistress. Mr Kolappan and ms Pankajam Kolappan gave birth to the following children namely [1] Ms Ajitha Singh ,[2]  Ms K.P. Vijila , B.Sc, married Dr. P. J. Raju, B.V.S.C, A.H,  and Dr P.J. Raju worked as a  Veterinary Surgeon in the Government of kerala, and this couple gave birth to the following children namely ;- [a]Mr. Ranjith and he is doing his 2nd year B.L,  [b] Mr.Prajith and he preparing for his NEET examination, [3] Ms Sijitha Lekha, D.E.E,  and [4] mr. Ezhil Kumar, MBA, and he is working in a Privatae Company and he married ms Prabha , M.Sc. B.Ed, and ms Prabha is working as a Teachera, Tamil Nadu Government, "Illam Thedi Kalvi" scheme and this couple is blessed with a smart girl child . 

Er. C. Singh's Professional track in ISRO from 1996 and till Retirement   : Mr. C. Singh was very lucky that he got his appointment in the Research and Development Department , I.S.R.O..  Mr. C. Singh was working as a Technical Assistant from 1990 till 2002 with great devotion and efficiency and in the year 2002 Mr C. Singh was promoted as S B  grade Engineer.in the  same Research and Development Department,.LPSC, ISRO, Panagudy. . As an innovative Engineer he loved his job and  discharged his professional duties with enviable efficiency . Official  promotions came one by one , he was promoted as S.C. grade Engineer , S.D. grade Engineer and S.E. Grade Engineer and finally as S.F grade Engineer  . Promotions propelled speed quality and contribution of his Research Activities .  In  May 2022 , SF . Engineer / Scientist Er. C. Singh retired from ISRO..

Conclusion      : Mr. Er. C. Singh, M.E , is an innovative Thinker , an eminent Mechanical  Engineer , and an unassuming  Space Scientist / Engineer.. His  love for the Space Science Research was Amazing. During his service in the very important  R & D, Department of I.S.R.O. Propulsion Complex at Mahendragiri, near Panagudy and he had done notable and lasting  contribution to the Space Research in India . He had the privilege to work in I.P.R.C., [1988--2022 ] for nearly 34 long years . As an Research and  Development Scientist / Engineer he had the privilege to work in the following prestigious  I.S.R.O. Space Projects namely , [1] PSLV Project, [2] GSLV Project, and [3] INSAT Project, Chandrayan Program, Mangalayan Project [ Mars Orbiter Mission] , Gaganyan Project [ Human Space flight Programme] ,etc,. Thus he  had given his intellectual contribution to Indian Space Research to make India a proud nation . Yet he is unassuming  and  very down to earth in his behaviour and attitudes. .Er. C. Singh, M.E, is a Recipient of the prestigious I.S.R.O Award for his research inventions. He had the privilege  to work as a Member of the prestigious  Technology Development Project [TDP ] of I.P.R.C. He played a pivotal role in inventing , " Pulse Thrust Measurement System ". Er. C. Singh is a good Human being , a great patriot, innovative scientist and a great Social Thinker . His rise from a Technician to the level of SF Scientist Engineer level was really a phenomenal accomplishment. It is not possible to accommodate all the events and aspects of his real life story within the space of this Article. So I will end this  Article with the following sentence," Er. C. Dr. Y. Richard Johnson's Professional and Social Activity Track     :  Dr. Y. Richard Johnson joined in SDA Spicer Memorial College Pune as a Lecturer , and he simultaneously worked as Assistant Dean of Mess , Attendance officer, and Transportation  Manager of Spicer Memorial College during the period from 1975 till 1980, with great devotion . In the year 1979 he joined the National Defence Academy Pune as a Lecturer and also served as a Part a Time College Lecturer in Nowrosjee Wadia College Pune [ 1979-- 1980 ], and during this period of time he  was actively engaged in the activities of the Pune Tamil Sangam  and conducted Patti Mantams and he was a member of the Malayalam Sangam, Pune. . During this period Dr. Y. Richard Johnson was actively engaged in Christian Ecumenical Movement in Pune .  He was selected by the U.P.S.C, as an Assistant Professor to serve in the Indian Military Academy [ Army Cadet College affiliated to JNU ]. While he was working in this Military Academy he did his B.Ed in the Annamalai University and M.Ed in the Himachal Pradesh University.  Dr. Y.Richard Johnson worked in the Indian Military Academy with distinction till 1993.and then he was selected as Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya  [ Ministry of Human Resource Dept, Govt of India] and  he served as the Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya  at Ghot Village in Gadehiroli District in Mharashtra and it must be remembered here that this is one of the crucial Naxal affected regions   in India .. As a Social Thinker  Dr. Y. Richard Johnson viewed the pathetic conditions of the Tribal People  and Tribal Schools in that region and he  arranged Vocational Training Camps and Tribal People Care Training for the Head Masters who served as the Head Masters in the Tribal Schools and the Head masters with great interest participated in these training Camps and were benefited . After having attended  the Training Camps  the Tribal School Headmasters served the  Schools with new vision, efficacy  and commitment.Thus Dr Y. Richard Johnson played a vital and conducive role for the development of the Tribal Community in the  area. in Gadchiroli District. Maharashtra state.   In recognition of his great service for the cause of the Triblal people his name was recommended for an Award to the government of by the then Collector of Gadchiroli District Mr Subrathrutho I.A.S,..  Dr. Y. R. Johnson also played a dynamic role to rescue the people of the submerged Chamarochi village from the clutches of the  flood and the  people were taken to  a temple located at the top of the hill and were provided food in the the year 1995.

Then Dr. Y. Richard Johnson Worked as Principal of Amaravati Novodaya Vidyalaya  : Dr.Y. Richard Johnson  was transferred to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya [JNV] at Amaravadi . And it will be appropriate to recollect a fact that JNV at Amarathi was the first Jawahar Navodhya Vidyalaya  started in India by then then Prime Minister of India  Sri. Rajiv Gandhi and then Mr.  Narasimha Rao was the HR Minister of Govt of India.  This Amaravati Jawahar Novodaya Vidyalaya  was started in the pattern of the Doon School in Dero Doon by  the then Chief Justice of India Mr C.R.Das .to block the cream of Indian students who were going to  foreign countries like US and Uk for higher and quality education . . It must be noted here that Dr  Y. Richard Johnson's wife Ms Lizzy worked as  Secretary to the then Head Master of the Doon School and she had the privilege of meeting Sri. Rajiv Gandhi whenever he visited Doon School his  Alma Meta . .Amaravati Novodaya Vidyalaya was the Model School for all the Navodaya Vidyalayas. in India. . While serving as the H.M of Amaravati JNV , Dr.Y.R. Johnson  with great vision started the Navodaya Old Students Association [ NOSA] and drafted the bylaws for this Association and these Bylaws were followed by all the Navodaya Vidyalayas in India as instructed by the Human Resource Development of Govt of India.  Dr. Y.R. Johnson conducted the first Regional Cultural Meet in Pune region in 1997 and the then Governor of Maharashtra  late Mr . P.C. Alexander was the Chief  Guest  of the occasion .. Dr. Y.R. Johnson organised the First School Games federation of India of the Navodaya  Vidyalayas in India and Navodaya students from all over India participated in that milestone Games Meet. . This organisation is affiliated to the Indian Olympic Association .

Dr. Y. Johnson was transferred to Atru  Baron JNV, in Rajasthan in 1999 : In the year 1999 Dr. Y. Richard Johnson was transferred to Atru Novodaya Vidyalaya in Rajasthan .  He arranged in Dause village  the SGFI  games event  and he was the Advisor for the Meet . Dr. Y. R. Johnson organised the Regional Cultural Meet and revived  a  tribal dance called Chakri dance. [Tribal Folk dance] ] He organised a Regional Cultural Meet in Jaipur in 2000  and during that time the Union Minister Ms Vasundhara Raje , M.P , was visiting her MP Baron Constituency and on the invitation of Dr. Y.R. Johnson the Honourable Union Minister visited the Atru, Baron, Jawahar Novodaya Vidyalaya and appreciated Mr Y. Richard Johnson's service  and the School very much . 

Dr. Y. Johnson was transferred to Mahi JNV  in 2002   :  In 2002   Dr. Y. Richard Johnson was transferred to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Mahi and he served as its Principal with great efficacy and enviable enthusiasm til till his retirement in 2016 . 

Dr. Y. Richard Johnson served as the Principal of IELC Public School Nagercoil   . After his retirement Dr. Y. Johnson played a vital role to start the IELC Public School in Nagercoil and succeeded in that initiative and served as the Principal of IELC Public school Nagercoil with great interest and efficacy with a  visionary spirit and retired in the year 2018 

Dr.Y. Richard Johnson is currently serving as the Secretary of the Kumari Maha Sabha  Nagercoil  : : Dr. Y. Richard Johnson is currently serving as the Secretary of the Kumari Maha  Sabha from 2018 till date with  enviable enthusiasm and great distinction It  will be really useful to say a few lines about this Kumari Maha Sabha . Kumari Maha Sabha is  a Voluntary Think Tank Collegium of Kanyakumari district , established in 2012. and has been providing many brainstorming thoughts and plans for the  total development of the Kanyakumari district and its people. ,and its  main objective is to  transform Kanyakumari district as a Model District .. From the Sovenirs and other  Literatures published by the Kumari Maha Sabha we can understand that Kumari Maha Sabha is people's voice which consists of leading intellectuals , bureaucrats, educationists, politicians and public figures like Vice Chancellors, retired Chief Secretaries, Principals, MPs, MLAs, Judges, Advocates , industrialists, researchers, Doctors, Engineers,etc,., It has branches in Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, USA, Delhi ,Ttrivandrum , Singapore and Denmark  KMS has nearly 1000 members  The Kuamri Maha Sabha is really doing remarkable service to make Kanyakumari district as a Model District  Kumari Maha Sabha is doing its best to have an Airport at Swamithope and an international harbour at Colachel etc,. Dr Y.Richard Johnson is serving the Kemari Maha Sabha with great commitment , devotion and efficacy. .

Conclusion    :  Dr. Y. Richard Johnson is really a remarkable person and an Educationist par excellence .  He had been serving the country  by imparting  education to the youth of this vast Nation and especially to the rural and tribal youth through Jawahar Navodya Vidyalas .  He took some some special effort to disseminate education to the rural youth of this naationa. Dr. Y. Richard Johnson took a special interest for the cause of a  brilliant Tribal Student by name Mr. Sham Rao Korette and provided financial help to him with the help of Honourable Srimathi Vasundhara Raje Scindia,  currently Sham Rao Korette is a Ph.D Scholar and is serving as  Professor of History in the Nagpur University and also serves as Visiting Professor for four Universities.  similarly Dr. Richard Johnson had helped a tribal rural student  Mr Om Prakash  for his higher education and in short a considerable number  of his students are shining and doing extremely very well in various walks of life as Engineers, Doctors, Defence officers, Civil Servants, Scientists, Teachers, Professors, etc,.   A Teacher is known by his Student Products  and this is true in the case of Dr. Y Johnson. It is not possible to accommodate all the aspects , chapters and accomplishments of Dr Y.
