Introduction   : Former District Educational Officer late Rev. Dr. Paul Jesu Sahayam , B.A. B.T, M.A, M.Ed, B.D, D.Min. was an enlightened  personality,  great Educationist, compassionate Teacher, and  Evangelist.  . He had made indelible imprints and impact in the fields of Teaching, Preaching, Education, Social Service and Theology. Dr. Paul Jesu Sahahaym's Parents and Birth   :    Some decades ago there lived a good Christian  gentleman by name Mr. Jacob Puthukunathan  with his beloved wife by name Ms P. Pooranam at Ganesapuram in Nagercoil. Mr Jacob Puthukunathan was working as a Teacher cum Catechist at a Lutheran Elementary School attached to IELC.. Though Mr Puthukunathan was a native of Thazhakudy he was residing in Ganesapuram  on account of his job. Mr Puthukunathan and Ms Pooranam Puthukunathan couple gave birth to Dr. Paul Jesu Sahayam on the 9th October , 1944 at Ganesapuram as their 6th child.  As Dr Paul Jesu Sahayam lost his father while  he was   8 years old , he was brought  up  by his mother with the support of close relatives.

Dr. Paul Jesu Sahayam's Siblings   .Mr Jacob Puthukunathan and Ms Pooranam Puthukunathan couple gave birth to six children but the names of  only three children are available and they are  : [1] Mr Paul Dhas, he after having served the Indian Force for 24 years as Sargent  he retired from service  and worked as a  Post Master at Erachakulam for 10 years after his retirement . Mr Pauldhas married Ms Perinbam and this  couple gave birth to the  following children :[a] Mr. Jeya Raj , B,Sc, C.A.I.I.B[ Rtd Assistant Manager , Indian Bank] and he married Ms Edy Stella daughter of late Colonel Bagianathan, [T.C in the S.A], [b] Ms Pushpa Lalitha and she is married to Mr.Chandra Mohan, and she is a B,Sc Nurse [ CMC product ], and [c] Mr Manoharan , M.S.W  [ Baso Institute of Social Work, Sacred Heart College Tirupattur].and he is married to Ms Indra [ daughter of Mr Moniraj from Rathinapuram ] , [2] Ms Manonmony and she married Mr Ponniah and this couple gave birth to the  following children namely :[a] Ms Pearly Selva Punitha [School Teacher ] and she is married to Mr Mr Ashok Raj ,[b] Mr Puthuvin Joel Rajan [ Teacher] and he is married to Ms Poorna Anitha daughter of  Mr Dr. Paul Jesu Sahayam and [c] Ms Christmas Jeyanthi[ Teacher] and she is married to  Mr Tamilselvan [ Teacher] and [3] Dr. Paul Jesu  Sahayam  [ The hero of this Article].

Dr. Paul Jesu Sahaym's Educational Track   :  : As an young boy Paul Jesu Sahaym did his class 1 and Class 2 at the Govt Elementary School at Edalakudy in Nagercoil and did his 3rd class to 7th class at the Govt High School at Thazhakudy and then he pursued his studies at the Concordia High School at Nagercoil [MELIM / IELC ] as a Boarder  and passed his S.S.L.C. Then after having passed his S.S.L.C he pursed his P.U.C at  Scott Christian College Nagercoil and passed his P.U.C and then he did his B.A[ Economics[ at the same College and passed his B.A  [ Economics]. While he was studying in the Scott Christian College he served in the N.C.C Rifles as a Corporal . After having passed his B.A degree Mr Paul Jesu Sahayam did his B.T at the famous Meston Training College at Rayapettah in Chennai and passed his B.T in 1968. Then after having joined as a  B.T Assistant  in  the Board high School at Tiruporur in 1970 he did his M.A [ History ] and passed his M.A { History] in 1977. and then he pursued his M.Ed at the Himachel Pradesh University and passed his M.Ed in the year 1980. 

Dr. Paul Jesu Sahayam's  Wife  and Children    ;  Dr.  Paul Jesu Sahayam married Ms V. Mary Bai, B.Sc, B.T and this couple was blessed with all the conjugal, blessings and this couple gave birth to the following children namely :[1] Ms P. Poorna Priya, B.Sc, D.T.Ed and she married Mr E. Clarance, B.Com , [2] Ms Poorna Anitha , D.M.L.T and she married her paternal Cousin Mr P. Pudhuvin Joel Rajan , M.A, D.T.Ed and [3] Mr.P. Pudhuvin Ponvedhana , M.A, B.D, M.Th and he married Ms P. Priya Glory , B,Sc, D.P.T.

Dr. Paul Jesu Sahayam's Professional  Track  :  After having passed his B.T  , Dr. Paul Jesu Sahayam joined as a B.T Assistant at the Board High School at Tiruporur by April, 1970.[ This Board High School became Govt High School later ]. . After he passed his M.A [ History] he was promoted as a P.G Assistant in the same School in 1978. Dr. Paul Jesu Sahayam's sincerity and teaching efficiency and seniority were  considered and  he was promoted as Head Master of a Government Higher Secondary School at Kazhugumalai a Jainist Centre in Kovilpatti Educational District in VOC Revenue District. in 1991. Within 2 months he was transferred to the Govt Higher Secondary School at Ayyampettai in Kanchipuram district. . In 1996 Mr. Paul Jesu Sahayam was transferred to the Govt Higher Secondary School in Tiruporur. . In this Govt H.S. School he proved himself as an ideal Head Master by taking some innovative initiatives for the cause of the Students' education and discipline ..  

He played a Crucial Role for the  Formation of a Girls High School  :  As the strength of the Higher Secondary School at Ayyampettai crossed 1600 there arose some Discipline problems among the students and so he wrote to the Director of the School Education and C.E.O and D.E.O for their recommendations for the formation of a Separate new Girls High School by bifurcating the students as boys and girls . His solemn  request   was accepted by the Govt of Tamil Nadu and a new Girls High School  was formed at Ayyampettai, by separating  the Girl students from the boys. . Now this Girls High School has been upgraded as a Higher Secondary School .This was really a feather on his  teaching and administrative career .

Dr. Paul Jesu Sahayam was promoted as D.E.O   After having served as  an efficacious Head Master in the Govt  Higher .Secondary .Schools at Kazhukumalai, AyyanPettai, [ Kanjipuram]District and Thiruporur ' Dr. Paul Jesu Sahayam  was appointed  by the Director of School Education  as D.E.O in Charge for the  Chengalpattu Educational District for two terms ;  Afterwards in recognition of his able service he was promoted to serve as  D.E.O of  Ponneri Educational District ,  As Ponneri  District Educational Officer  Dr Paul Jesu Sahayam served the cause of education  with great devotion and distinction .

He had the Privilege to act as C.E.O in Charge :   Director of  School Education appointed Dr. Paul Jesu Sahayam for a month as the Acting Chief Education officer in Thiruvallur District: and Dr. Paul Jesu Sahayam as  Acting C.E.O did justice to his new job and assignment and won the appreciation of his Superiors, colleagues , parents and the  general Public

 . 

Some Additional High Lights on his Teaching Career  :-

He Served as Correspondent of St Paul's Elementary School at Thiruporur  : Dr Paul Jesu Sahayam was  an educationist and he took sincere interest for the cause of children's education and wanted to provide good education to the children specially to the children coming from marginalised section and so he started an Elementary School at Thiruporur called " St Paul's Elementary School"  This school witnessed a spectacular growth and within  a short span of time, its student strength reached  450 . Dr Paul Jesu Sahayam served as the  Correspondent of the above mentioned School    

He Served as Advisor to the Bharatha Vidhyalaya Matriculation School  : .  At the invitation of the Correspondent of the Bharatha  Vidhyalaya Matriculation School at Thiruporur Dr. Paul Jesu Sahaym  joined the Bharatha Vidhyala Matriculataion school as its Advisor  with the students of his own School [ St Pauls Elementary School ].  And he served as the Advisor to the  Bharatha Vidhyalaya Matriculation  School till the previous day of his death with great distinction and efficacy..

                                                  

                                     Rev. Dr. Paul Jesu Sahaym, M.A, M.Ed, B.D. D.Min,.

Rev. Dr. Paul Jesu Sahayam  served as a Christian Pastor Also   : Dr. Paul Jesu Sahayam  was a good practising Christian and he wanted to know more about Bible and Christian Theology  and so he pursued his Bachelor of Divinity[ B.D] Course and passed his  B.D in the year 1987.. And he had the privilege to serve as a Pastor in the Tamil Evangelical Church for 15 years and in the E.C.I for some years. and due to ill health he retired from E.C.I in 2015 and joined the New Mission  Church  and worked as a  Pastor of the New Mission church. Dr, Paul Jesu Sahayam used  Christian Ministry as a means to serve the needy people  .And he continued his ministry work as long as his health condition permitted him .

 

Dr. Paul Jesu Sahayam Wrote an English Grammar Book   : Dr. Paul Jesu Sahayam wanted to teach English Grammar to the students in an easy way and so he wrote an English Grammar Book and that was published by the LIFCO  Publishes under the title, "Lifco's Grammar Refresher for High School " in 1971  and for the same LIFCO Publishing Company paid Mr Paul Jesu Sahayam Rs. 350= then,. This Grammar Book underwent  7 Editions because of its effective demand.  Because of this wonderful English Grammar Book Dr Paul Jesu Sahayam became famous among the High School Teachers and Students in  Tamil Nadu.

Conclusion   : Rev. Dr. P.Paul Jesu Sahayam , B.A, B.T, M.A, M.Ed, B.D, D.Min,  was an ideal Teacher, School Administrator, Evangelist and  Preacher. . He was an innovative Educationist , he was a great visionary . As an Educationist he not only cared for good School Results in the Govt Public Examinations  but also he was equally concerned about the character of his students .  He was a spiritual man, and he loved his fellow human-beings , he was a honest  man with good character. and he introduced many innovative schemes and methods to improve the character and discipline of his students, In recognition of his great service to the cause of social service through  Education the Lions Club honoured Dr. Paul Jesu Sahayam with  the prestigious Lions CLub Award . His prolific accomplishments and all the aspects of his  real life story cannot be confined within the space of this Article. Rev. Dr .Paul Jesu Sahayam passed away from this world on the 26th of September , 2021. I will end this Article by the following sentence, " Rev. Dr. Paul Jesu Sahayam was a remarkable Man, a  man of God, a Companion of the Common Man  and was  a dedicated  Educationist, and I am proud him"

Monicka Raj's Parents and Birth    : Mr. Monicka Raj's native village Chungkankadai is a beautiful idyllic village and it  is surrounded by pretty tiny hills, beautiful ponds, fertile  paddy fields, and it lies within  the Alloor Village Panchayat. In this enchanting  Chungkankadai  village there lived a gentleman by name Mr Govindan with his beloved and modest wife Ms Kannymaryal and this couple gave birth to Mr Monicka Raj on the 23rd April, 1954..Mr Govindan worked ina  Private Mill in Nagercoil. and Ms kannymaryal Govindan was an industrious house wife. . Mr. Monicka Raj's father Mr. Govindan worked very hard to provide the best education to his only beloved son ..

Mr. G. Monicka Raj's Educational Track   :  Mr G. Monicka Raj did his High School studies up-to 9th standard at the Thuckalai Govt High School and then he did his studies up-to his 11th Standard {S.S.L.C] at the Aloor Govt High School  and passed his S.S.L.C in the year 1969 with high marks. Then Mr Monicka Raj pursued his P.U.C at the Lakshmipuram Arts and Science College, and passed his P.U.C with good marks.  Then after having passed his P.U.C, Mr Monicka Raj pursued his B.Sc { Mathematics] at the famous Pioneer Kumaraswamy College Nagercoil and passed his B.Sc { Maths] in first Class.in the year 1974.   In line with his innate thirst for knowledge  Mr G. Monicka Raj pursued his B.E { E.C.E ] at the highly prestigious  Indian Institute of Science Bangalore . Mr G. Monicka Raj passed his B.E [ E.C.E] in First Class in the year 1978 and brought laurels to his parents and family.

Anderson and Ms Celina Anderson  on the 19th January 1981 at Nagercoil . . Late Mr Anderson's father late Mr D.Arumai Nayagam , B.A ,L,T was a great Educationist and Musician and was a Choir Member of the Nagercoil Home Church for many years. . Mr D. Anderson and Ms Celina Anderson couple  gave birth to the following children namely : [1] Ms. Amutha Raj, [2] Ms Fathima , B.Sc and she married Mr Vijaykumar, [3] Mr  Nagesh and he is a great Artist and Sculptor and he is married to Ms Selvi, [4]Mr. Arumainayagam Robert and he is a talented Basket Ball Player and he is married to Ms Rose Mary.

Monicak Raj and Ms Amutha Monicka Raj couple's Children   : Mr G Monicka Raj and Ms Amutha Raj couple gave birth to the following children namely : [1] Mr. Arvind kelvin, B.E, {ECE] is currently working as General.Manager in a Private Company  and he  is married to Ms Sweety Pradeep, M.E and Ms Sweety Pradeep is currently working in the Tata Consultancy, Company [2] Mr. Pravin Kumar, M.Sc {Micro],I.B.A  [Lille University France ] and he is  married to  Ms Sheeba , B.Tech,. 

Mr. G. Monicka Raj 's  Professional Track   :  ; Mr G. Monicka Raj began his professional career as an Assistant Executive Engineer in the Research and Development Department of the Indian Telephone Industries in the year 1978 and retired as a Deputy Chief Engineer in 1994. . He had the privilege to serve as a Member of the Recruitment Board for Public Sector Industries[ Govt of India ] for 6 years . He also served as Evaluator and Question Paper Setter for Diploma Holders in Electronic Engineering , .Mr. G. Monicka Raj  had the august privilege to execute a prestigious Defence Project of the Govt of India . With great efficacy he  established a Secured Network  along the  Indo-Pakistan border from Rajasthan to Jammu, while he was serving in the Research and Development Department of the Indian Telephone Industries Ltd. ..

His Career in the Private Sector   : He has a brilliant and enviable  professional career in Private Sector also. he had the privilege to serve as General Manager  in the prestigious R.P.Goenka Group . Mr G. Monicka Raj had  served as a Vice President in the Prestigious  Bharat Airtel Ltd and he had also served as a Vice President and Chief Technical Officer of the globally famous Elisalat Company in Dubai . In all these companies he discharged his responsibilities and official assignments with great distinction, devotion, and outstanding efficacy. 

Conclusion    After having served for many years both in the Public Sector and Private Sector organisations for some decades with  enviable excellence Mr. G. Monicka Raj  retired from active  service in the year 2012.and as an active and adept :person he can never remain idle and so he and his friends a started a Consultancy and I.T Company by name Thinksyng Solutions Pvt Ltd in Chennai. Currently  Mr G. Monicka Raj , B.Sc, B.E  is serving  as a Partner and Director of  Thinksyng  Solutions Pvt Ltd,  with great devotion;  and  nearly 350 employees are working in this IT Company..Mr. G. Monicka Raj is a Creative Thinker. Hard Worker, innovative  Researcher  a Voracious Reader ,  Former Rotarian, and egalitarian . .  Now he resides in Chennai with his wife and children .He had visited many important foreign countries such as: .U.K, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, U.S, Singapore and so on  .It is not possible to record all his accomplishments in this Article ,  I will end this article,with the following sentence, "Mr. G. Dr. Elizabeth Phillips' Parent and her Birth   :  Many decades ago there lived a gentle man and Physician by name Dr. Thomas Ruban Philips in the beautiful Bangalore City with his modest and intelligent wife Ms Celecia Philips  and  Dr. Philips and Ms.Celecia Philips couple gave birth to their youngest child Dr. Elizabeth on the 20th June 1963.  Dr. Thomas Ruban Philips was practising as a Physician in Bangalore city in an efficacious way but unfortunately when Dr. Elizabeth Phillips was one year old Dr. Thomas Ruban Philips passed away due to  medical error  at an early age .   But  Dr. Elizabeth's mother Ms Celecia Philips rose up-to the occasion with the help of her extraordinary faith in God and protected her children and provided the best possible education to her children ;and today all of her children are doing well in their life. And all the children of Ms Celecia Philips remembers their mother Ms Celecia Philips with great love and  gratitude.

Dr. Elizabeth's Marriage with Mr Leslie Cornelius and their Family Life     : After having successfully finished her B.Sc { Nursing] , Dr. Elizabeth Phillips married Mr Leslie Cornelius, son of Rev Cornelius and Dr. Esther Cornelius on the 6th September 1995.  Mr Leslie Cornelius was a qualified Medical technician at the time of the marriage . It would be apt to say a few lines about Rev Cornelius and Dr Esther Cornelius.  Rev Cornelius  worked as an ordained and illustrious  Pastor in the I.E.LC,  till his early death in 1971.  and  Dr Esther was the Founder of the I.E.L.C School for the Blind at Bargur and some other Institutions and Dr Esther Cornelius is generally called as the Mother Teresa of the I.E.L.C,  and currently she is living in U.S with her children. . God blessed Dr Elizabeth and Mr Leslie Cornelius and this couple gave birth to a male child by name Mr Levi Cornelius and now Mr Levi Cornelius is doing his Masters in Biology [ Pre..medical  }in U.S.. Since marriage Dr. Elizabeth and Mr Leslie Cornelius couple has been leading an exemplary and blissful conjugal life. 

Dr. Elizabeth's Professional Track   : .  After having passed her B.Sc {Nursing] Dr. Elizabeth Phillips started her Nursing career as an Emergency Room Nurse in a hospital in Bangalore.  . Immediately after her marriage she proceeded to Doha, Qatar with her husband Mr Leslie Cornelius and had the privilege to work with an incredible team of Nurses and Physicians at the famous Hamad Medical Corporation in Doha and she bloomed as a skilled Trauma Room Nurse. 

Dr. Elizabeth Moved to USA with her Family for Higher education   : Even though Dr. Elizabeth was enjoying her Nursing job and her family life,  her natural burning  thirst for knowledge galvanised and propelled  her to move to the USA to  pursue higher education  She moved to USA with her precious two years old  son Levi .Cornelius and Mr Leslie Cornelius joined her later in US . Dr. Elezabeth initially worked as an Emergency Nurse and Critical Care Nurse in a reputed Hospital called Irvine Regional Medical Center , California, US,  And within one year her  professional efficacy was recognised by the hospital authorities and she was promoted as a  House Supervisor . This new designation added additional responsibility and enhanced her Critical  thinking, proper decision taking capacity and knowledge on patient safety.  But her thirst for higher Education was ringing and running  in her inner mind and so Dr. Elizabeth  joined ASPEN University  and  she met all the requirements and pursued her M S N[ Nursing administration ] . As she was very intelligent and hard working student  Dr. Elizabeth Phillips passed her M.S.N course in Nursing Administration meritoriously.

Dr. Elizabeth Passed her Doctor of Nursing Practice [ DNP ] Course  :   After having passed her M.S.N,  Dr' Elizabeth joined the famous Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center as an Assistant Department Administrator. Dr Elizabeth Phillips is blessed with innate and  natural thirst for intellectual advancement and so  she wanted to do her Doctoral studies in Nursing Practice and  as a God fearing child of God she prayed for financial help to do her doctoral studies and her her prayer was answered. She got the educational Scholarship for her doctoral  Studies from her employer kaiser Permanente to pursue and complete her D.N.P, doctoral studies .  So she pursued her Doctoral Studies  with great commitment and devotion. Her husband Mr Leslie Cornelius and her son Levi gave their full support for her doctoral research study., By the grace of God Ms.Elizabeth Philips  passed her Doctor of Nursing Practice [ D.N.P ]and became Dr. Elizabeth Phillips D.N.P,. and brought great indelible joy to her family . 

Dr.Elizabeth was promoted as the Director of Nursing Services in kaiser Permanente: After having passed  her D.N.P doctorate course she continued her job in the famous Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center, as an Assistant Department Administrator with great commitment,  competency and efficacy. .Her merit was recognised and  some months before Dr. Elizabeth Phillips  was promoted as the Director of Nursing Service at the prestigious  Kaiseer Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center.  And it would be appropriate to say a sentence here  that Kaiser Permanente  is the largest managed Care Organisation in the United States .   Now with great joy and devotion she continues  and does her job as the Director of Nursing Service in this prestigious Kaiser Permanente Medical Center.. She is always particular to do justice to her assignment, duties and designation.

Introduction      :  Rev. Jesudason Wesley Samuel Rungaswamy hailed from a pioneer, historical  and pious Wesleyan Methodist family from Madras. Rev. Jesudason W.S. Rungusamy's father late Rev. John Rungaswamy was an internationally acclaimed Wesleyan Methodist Pastor and his mother also hailed from an illustrious Methodist  Christian family from Madras .Rev. J.W.S. Rungaswamy served as a Methodist Pastor and also as a Chaplain in the Indo British Army with great efficacy , but unfortunately the modern day Church leaders,Church Historians  and Christians have forgotten the services rendered by Rev J.W.S Rungaswamy and other Methodist Pastors of his family . On the basis of the available details and information a short profile of Rev J.W.S. Rungaswamy is recorded in this Article  for the benefit of the readers, Church Historians and our future generation. .

Rev. Jesudason W.S. Rungaswamy's Parents : Rev. Jesudason Wesley Samuel Rungaswamy's father  Rev. John Rungaswami was one of the pioneer native Methodist Ministers  and he had  served in and around Madras during the time of the famous Wesleyan Methodist Missionaries namely, Rev. Mackenzie Cobban, Rev. James Cooling, Rev. A.O. Brown, Rev. C.H. Monahan, and a few other Methodist Missionaries. It would be really useful to say a few more imperative lines about Rev. John Rungaswami here for the sake of Church Historians and curious readers .  Rev Jesudason Wesley Samuel Rungaswamy is generally called as Rev.J.W.S. Rungaswamy. The great Church Historian G.G Findlay, D.D and W.W. Holdsworth,M.A B.D, have mentioned about Rev John Rungaswamy  in their monumental book , "The History of the Wesleyan Methodist Missionary Society". By experience the Wesleyan Methodist Missionary Society  realised the importance of  the Indigenous Christian Ministers to evangelise their fellow country men .  So in the year 1899  it was decided to establish a Theological Institution for the training of all the Ministers whose mother tongue was Tamil and.accordingly the Wesleyan Methodist Missionary Society established a Theological Institution at St. Thomas Mount but in the following year this Institution was removed to Guindy.. The Wesleyan Methodist  Missionary Society  decided  to appoint a European Missionary and an Indian Minister to work in this Institution. In this Theological Institution at Guindy, hostels were built  for married and unmarried students and the first European Missionary appointed was the Rev. C.H Monahan and  native Indian Wesleyan Methodist Minister appointed was Rev. John Rungaswami, [ Common Spelling is Rungaswamy].   Thus Rev John Rungaswami got the rare privilege to train many native Ministers  for the ministry in the Wesleyan Methodist  Missionary Society ,. John Rungaswami married Ms Rebecca Gnanamuthu from a famous native  Wesleyan Methodist Christian family from North  Madras 

Rev.  Jesudason W.S. Rungaswamy 's Siblings   :   Many decades  ago there lived a dynamic Wesleyan  Methodist Pastor by name Rev. John Rungaswamy, B.D, in Madras and he married Ms Rebecca Gnanamuthu, the  sister of Wesleyan Methodist Pastor Joseph Israel Gnanamuthu who worked as a native Assistant to Rev G.M. Cobban;  and this couple's wedding was conducted at the The Wesleyan Methodist Church, at  Black Town , Madras on the 13th February 1885  and this marriage was solemnised by the Rev. Mackenzie Cobban.  God blessed the connubial life of  Rev. John Rungaswamy  and Ms. Rebecca John Rungaswamy and this couple gave birth to the following children namely ; [1]  Ms. Jesuammal Mercy Rungaswamy and she was born  on 22..08..1886, and she was married to Dr Samuel Moses. And this Jeusammal Rungaswamy couple gave birth to a female baby and this  girl baby was named  as Elizabeth Dhayanidhi .While Elizabeth Dhayanidhi was an infant both her parents died one after the other.   This little girl Elizabeth Dhayanidhi was left alone but this Elizabeth Dhayanidhi's maternal uncle Rev Jesudason Wesley Samuel Rungaswamy took care the his little niece Ms Elizabetth Dhayanidhi and brought up her with all love and care  along with his other children.  When Elizabeth attained womanhood Rev.J.W.S Rungaswamy's son John Rungaswamy married his cousin Elizabeth Dhayanihi gladly on the advice of his father . [2] Rev. Jesudason Wesley Samuel Rungaswamy after having passed his B.A, B.D, following the footsteps of his dear father Rev John Rungaswamy , came forward to serve as a Wesleyan Methodist Pastor through proper channel .Rev. Jesudson Wesley Samuel Rungaswami is generally known as Rev J.W.S, Rungaswamy.  Rungaswamy had the privilege  to serve as an ordained Wesleyan Methodist Pastor in many Methodist Churches situated in and  around Madras including  the St.Lukes Wesleyan Church at Mandaiveli Lane, Mylapore,  Madras [ Now it is called as St Luke C.S.I Church, Mandaiveli lane, Mylapore  Chennai.4]. for two terms covering  the period  1921...1923 and 1935..1939. with great devotion  and dedication  Rev. JWS Rungaswamy also had the privilege to work as Military Chaplain in the  Indo British Army. During that period Rev.J.W.S. Rungaswamy met one Mr Francis Samuel Davidwho had been serving the British Army as a Paratrooper during the world War II. They became good friends and Rev.J.W.S. Rungaswamy gave his Madras Home Address in India to Francis S. David. .After the second world war was over,  Francis Samuel David was asked by the British Govt whether he was willing to come to Britain or would want to visit his Parents in Rangoon. Francis  S. David opted to visit his parents at Rangoon and accordingly  Francis S David  went to Rangoon to meet his parents in Rangoon but his parent's house was dilapidated by the World War II and he could not find the where about of his parents , With great sorrow  he started to walk towards Madras in India and after having walked for 28 days Mr Francis Samuel David reached Madras and  with the help of the Address given byRev JWS. Rungaswamy, Mr Francis S. David  reached Rev.JWS  Rungaswamy's house , Rev JWS Rungaswamy welcomed  Francis with great compassion and love . Francis was asked to stay at the house  Rev J.W.S. Rungaswamy and after some Rev JWS. Rungaswamy offered Mr Francis S. David to choose one of his daughters as Francis S David's  wife . Mr Francis Samuel David chose Ms Elsie Margaret Runguswamy as his wife . This  Elsie Francis S David  couple got married with the blessings of Rev JWS Rungaswamy. And this Elise Francis S David  couple was blessed with 2 sons and 4 grandsons and 6 great grandchildren . Unfortunately  we are unable to get the full details of the valuable ministerial Service  of Rev J.W.S Rungaswamy .

Conclusion  :  Rev. Jesudason Wesely Samuel Rungaswamy was a remarkable man . He loved God and his fellow human being . He was a companion of the common man, he was a powerful and convincing preacher. Physically and spiritually he was  beautiful . By nature he was kind, compassionate , honest and unassuming . After having served both God and man Rev Jesudason Wesley Samuel Rungaswamy died on the 14th August, 1950 at the age of 62. and his mortal remains was buried at the St. George Cathedral, Cemetery, in  Madras [ Chennai]. Rev. J.W.S.. Rungaswamy discharged his duties with great commitment , sincerity and efficacy.. He loved  his Church members  and worked for the total development of his Church members. He was respected within his family circle and also outside his family circle.. It is not possible to cover all the aspects and achievement of  Rev. J.W.S. Introduction .   Dr. J. Robert Donald is a remarkable  and multifaceted personality . He is a great Educationist, Psychologist, Writer, Administrator, Unrelenting Champion for  the cause of Human Rights, a Good Samaritan , an International Personality and definitely his prolific life story and accomplishments will galvanise the minds of the readers and fellow  human beings to aim for enviable goals in life and enlighten them to become good human-beings . Indeed he is a shining and galvanising  Milestone in the field of Education,  Religion, Social Service, Human Rights, Consumer Rights , etc.. 

                                                    

                                                  Dr. J. Robert Donald, M.A, Ph.D, F.A.G.E

Dr, J. Robert Donald's Parents and their  Family    :     Dr. J. Robert Donald's  paternal grand parents  were natives of Karagalli , Talakad, T Narasipur Taluk, Mysore District . His paternal grandfather was a wrestler in the Court of the then Maharaja of Mysore NALVADI KRISHANRAJA WODEYAR , the Founder of the Mysore State . Dr. Robert Donald's paternal great grandparents belonged to the historical Ganga Dynasty in Mysore State . And during that period of time many foreign Seventh Day Adventist Missionaries were preaching the gospel of Christ to the people living in and around Mysore, T Narsipur, Kollegal, Chamarajanagar, etc,.. And many native persons after hearing the effective Messages of the SDA missionaries  willingly came forward to be Baptised in the S.D.A Church . After having heard  the soul winning Bible instructions given by two foreign SDA missionaries for three months, Dr. J. Robert Donald's paternal grandmother and grandfather realised the imperative need for Baptism and so in 1935 Robert Donald's paternal grandmother and grandfather were baptised into the Seventh Day Adventist Church by the foreign Seventh Day Adventist Missionaries and on the same occasion 23 persons were baptised in total, into the S.D.A church. Dr. Robert Donald's paternal grandparents gave birth to Dr. Robert Donald's  father Mr  C.P. Jonathan.  Mr C.P. Jonathan married Ms Keturah Jonathan from Andra Pradesh and this couple's marriage was conducted and solemnised by the SDA missionary Dr. R.S. Lowry .  Mr. C.P. Jonathan and his wife Ms Keturah Jonathan took active interest in Church and evangelical activities and they  worked with missionaries namely Dr. R.S Lowry, Dr. R.L. Rowe, Dr. H.A. Walls, Pastor W.F. Storz,  Pastor O.B. Jonathan , A.E. Rawson, and Pastor M.E. Meleen and established and nurtured some SDA  Churches in South Karnataka .

Birth of Dr. J. Robert Donald  ;   Mr C.P. Jonathan and Ms. Keturah Jonathan couple gave birth to Dr .J. Robeart Donald on the 24th April, 1950 at the Lowry Adventist College , Bangalore  . Mr C.P Jonathan and Ms Keturah Jonathan christened their new born son as Robert Donald after the names of the two sons of the S.D.A missionary Dr..H.A. Walls namely Robert and Donald . Mr C.P.Jonathan and Ms Kerturah Jonathan served as efficacious  School Teachers  in Bangalore , Mysore and Chamarajanagar. 

Educational Track of Dr. J.Robert Donald   : Dr. J.Robert Donald did his School studies at the famous Lowry Memorial Higher Secondary School in Bangalore city . After having passed his Plus two examination with high marks  he pursued his American Bachelor's Honours degree at the prestigious Spicer Memorial College in Pune, and after having passed his American Bachelor's Honours degree, Mr Robert Donald pursued his M.A, degree in Philosophy and Psychology at the University of Pune and passed his M.A degree with flying colours. In line with his thirst for knowledge Dr. J. Robert Donald pursed his Research studies at the prestigious University of Pune  and passed his Ph.D degree in Humanistic Psychology in the year 1979 meritoriously .  Humanistic Psychology is a very recent, crucial and core contribution to the Psychological understanding of man both in terms of philosophical presupposition and therapeutic implications . It is aptly termed as "THIRD FORCE in PSYCHOLOGY  But unfortunately in India the contribution of this new movement is  not well known and recognised . In this respect Dr. Robert Donald's thorough and painstaking study in this research field  is a pioneering attempt and the first of this kind of  Research undertaken in India . Dr Robert Donald has opened  a new Field of Research and that will be will very important and useful to Psychologists, Philosophers , Theologians, Social workers and  Social Thinkers in India
