Introduction: The first Chief Architect  and Town planner to the Government of Kerala Shri. J.C. Alexander was an iconic Architect, Professor of Architecture  and designer of great caliber and  tall order He was definitely a milestone in the field  of modern Architecture and  town planning  in India . He was dead and gone but he  will be remembered for the  contributions  he  had made for the cause of Architecture .To his credit he had  designed  and built  many landmark buildings  in  and around  Trivandrum and also in some other places..Among the many monumental architectural buildings designed by Shri.J C Alexander,  the Gandhi Memorial Building at Kanyakumari  is  one of them

J.C Alexander and  his Parents :  Shri. J.C Alexander was born to Mr J.M Joseph and Mrs. Lily Joseph at Nagercoil . J.C Alexander's father Mr. J.M. Joseph, B.A, L.T, M.L.A [ Nominated ] was  a  famous Head Master of the famous Scott Christian High School , Nagercoil,  and he served as Head Master with distinction for a number of years  . And his  mother Mrs Lily Joseph belonged to one of the illustrious christian families in Kanyakumari District and Tamil Nadu. and she was the fifth child of Mr. Moses Devadason [ Inchikandakku ] of Nagercoil . And it is pertinent here to remember the historical fact  that Moses Devadason was a friend  and confidant of Bishop Robert Caldwell and Moses Devadason served as a  Supervisor and Conductor of Robert Caldwells' Woodland Estate [ 275 acres ] in Asambu Hills,  in Kanyakuamari District  with great integrity.. Bishop Robert Caldwell sold his Woodland Estate to his Estate conductor  and friend Mr Moses Devadason at a low price in recognition of  Mr.Moses Devadason's hard work and honesty. 

J.C. Alexander's Siblings :  Shri J.C Alexander's Parents Mr.J.M Joseph and Mrs  Lily Joseph couple was blessed with the following children : [1] Mr. J.Prince, [2] Mr. J.C. Alexander [3]Mr. J.R. Kenneth, [4]Ms. Sarojini Mathews ,[5] Ms.Leela Daniel, [6] Ms. Lalitha ,[7]Ms Suseela Paul Vedam ,   [8] .Mr..J.C Prasad . All of Mr J.C Alexander's siblings had a well settled in life  and  to cite one or two example  I would say his elder brother Mr.J. Prince  worked in the prestigious Reserve Bank of India , however he died at the early age of 50..  Mr.J.C Alexander's  sister Ms Sarojini was married to Mr George Mathew. and  Mr George Mathews worked in the famous Voorhees High School Vellore and retired as its Head-Master

J.C . Alexander' wife and married life : Mr. J.C Alexander married his maternal uncle Mr Charles Dawson's daughter Ms Queenie .  Ms Queenie Alexander was a product of Sarah Tucker College , Palayam Cottah .. Ms Queenie Alexander's mother  Ms  Leelamal was a first cousin of the world famous Christian Theologian and Writer  Dr, Paul Devanandan ,  Mr. J.C Alexander and his beloved and beautiful wife Ms.Queenie Alexander were leading a happy and beautiful life but unfortunately death  did not allow Ms Queenie  to enjoy the conjugal happiness and bliss with her loving husband ; even before completing one year in her married life, death snatched away Ms. Queenie Alexander from her beloved husband Shri J.C Alexander . The demise of his beloved and beautiful wife affected  Mr.J.C Alexander deeply beyond all  available words.

Mr. Devnath Ponniah and his wife Mrs. Malathy Rani Devnath  :   Young and energetic Devnath Ponniah married Ms. Malathy Rani , daughter of Mr Thangkappan and Mrs kannimarial Thangkappan of Nagercoil and Mr  Devnath  Ponniah and Malathy Rani couple's marriage was conducted at Nagercoil in a grand manner .  Mrs. Malathy Rani Devnath  is not only beautiful  but also  is a creative  home maker and planner;  unhesitatingly we can say that she is the galvanizing  and inspirational force for  Devnath Ponniah's successful life  in all fronts .

Mr.Devnath Ponniah and Mrs.Malathy Rani Devnath Couple's Children :  God has blessed Mr Devnath Ponniah and Mrs Malathy Rani Devnath couple with two cute and intelligent daughters  namely:[1] Ms. Anugraha Devnath and [2] Ms. Archana Devnath .Ms Anugraha Devnath  did her B.E in Computer Science  at the famous Thiyagarajar College of  Engineering , Madurai  Ms Anugraha Devnath B.E has married Mr. Stephen Babu M.C.A. .Mr Stephen Babu was working in C.TS. in Chennai and now for the last few years Stephen Babu has been working in USA  on Site Assignment . Mr Stephen Babu and Mrs Anugraha Devnath Stephen Babu Couple is blessed with a cute daughter by name Andrea Stephen and a smart son by name  Andrew Stephen .Now Anugraha Devanth Stephen is living in USA. with her husband and their loving children  .{2] Mrs Archana Devnath   like her sister after having done her  high School and Higher Secondary School Education at the famous C.S.I Higher Secondary Matriculation School, Nagercoil, she  did her B.E at the famous Panimalar Institute of Technology , Chennai . She was an Achiever in education, Archana Devnath stood first in her  class and bagged prize money of Rs.10,000= twice from the College Administration . Recently she has married Mr Suthan Philips , B.Tech, [M.E }and Suthan Philips is   working with Amazon as Cloud Engineer in U.S.A and Mrs Archana Devnath Suthan Philips has recently joinedher  beloved husband  who is working now  in USA .

Mr. Denath Ponniah in I.O.B :  Since Mr Devnath Ponniah  joined as a Probationary Officer in I.O.B in 1981, for the last nearly 36 years he has been  efficaciously working in the I.O.B. . And during this long period he has decorated many  Posts and  discharged official  responsibilities  with high dignity  in an enviable manner. .  From the very beginning he was very active and  proved his efficiency in his official work and while  Mr. Devnath Ponniah  was working at IOB Eraniel Branch , in Kanyakumari District, as Branch Manager,  he  was appreciated  with an Award by then District Collector Mrs Jothi Nirmala, IAS, for opening maximum number of Self Help Groups [SHGs] in Kanyakuami District.  In 2013 he was promoted as Senior Manager and was transferred  to Calcutta and accordingly  he worked as Senior Manager in I.O.B ,Calcutta during 2011- 2013.  . In 2013 he was transferred to Kanyakumari District to assume charge as Lead District Manager, at Nagercoil , Kanyakumari district   As Lead District Manager he functioned in a very efficient and effective  manner and won the love and respect of the District Administration  and the Public.

Mr Devnath Ponniah was Promoted as Assistant General Manager [ AGM ] in 2014 : In 2014 Mr Devnath Ponnaih was promoted as Assistant General Manager and posted at the I.O.B Guindy branch, in Chennai. He worked at the Guindy IOB branch as AGM in charge of  Small, Marginal Entrepreneurs Advance [ SME -Credit ] Section nearly for two years. In 2016 he was transferred to the IOB Nehru Park Branch, Chennai and  currently at this IOB Branch  he has been working  as AGM in a very efficacious manner . He is to be  retired from  IOB  banking service  during  May 2017.

Conclusion : Mr. Devnath Ponniah is a colorful personality . His  curled mustache  adds additional attraction to his  physical look , and his generous and kind mental out look  makes him, as a dear and respected person to everyone around  him and  known him and known to him . When ever he is filled with some worries he  takes his Guitar or Key Board and plays some favorite songs and forgets his melancholy. When he is in creative mood he takes his pencil and paper draws some beautiful sketches . He loves books and camera  and his grand-children very much . Introduction :  Mr Devnath Ponniah is  a colorful multi-faceted personality. Almighty God has blessed him with  many talents and creative gifts  ; he is a great  Photographer, a versatile Artist,  good  Key Board Player, eloquent Speaker ,  shrewd Negotiator,  able Administrator, accomplished   Banker  and so on. A perusal of his life trajectory will easily and conspicuously confirm that he is a hard worker and a very intelligent person and he has become an Assistant  General Manger of IOB [ Indian Overseas Bank ,] by his relentless hard work and competence. His profile will definitely  give  inspiration  and hope to the younger generations to reach great heights  in life  through tireless and relentless hard work .Some are born great and some achieve greatness and Mr. Devnath Ponniah  belongs to the second category. and by virtue of his many fold accomplishments he has become a milestone  in the  social , cultural and banking history of Kanyakumari District and Tamil Nadu.

His Birth and Parents : Mr. Devanath Poniah was born  as a male child at Nagercoil, kanyakuamari District , to Mr Ponniah  and Mrs  Thangamuthu Ponniah couple on 10th May 1957..Mr. Ponniah and Mrs. Thangamuthu Ponniah couple  is  blessed with three smart daughters also.

Devnath's Education :  Young  smart Devnath Ponnaih did his  Primary School education at the  Lutheran Primary School Vadasery and  Gothai Gramam Government Primary School. Mr. Devnath  Ponnaih did his High School at the famous S.M.R.V School at Vadesery, Nagercoil. Then he joined for his P.U.C at the famous S.T. Hindu College Nagercoil  and in the same college he did his B.Sc[ [Zoology --1977 ]

Young Devnath  Ponniah won many  prestigious competitions at the University level : Devanath Ponniah is a great  creative person.  From childhood he showed great promise in Pencil Drawing and during his college days he won  the First Prize in Pencil Drawing at the Inter Collegiate Competition ofthe Maduarai Kamaraj University and also  he won  Second prize in Photography Competition and received the Prize  Medals  in 1977 from the then Vice Chancellor of M.K University Dr. V.C Kulandaisamy . In the same year in the Inter-Collegiate Photography Competition conducted at the  Tanil nadu State level he won 2 medals out of the total  8 medals 

Mr. Devnath Ponniah, B.Sc, joined as a Clerk in State Bank of India;   After having passed his B.Sc Mr Devnath Ponniah passed his clerical Examination  conducted by the SBI and joined in S.B.I as a Clerk in 1980 at the Kuzhithurai SBI branch,  Kanyakuamri Distirct. and he worked in the same branch nearly for one year in the same cadre.  

Mr. Devnaath Ponniah  was selected as a Probationary Officer in IOB :  His natural fire and urge for advancement and achievement propelled Mr. Devnath Ponniah  to aspire for greater places in  life  and so our Dynamic Devanath Ponniah sat for his probationary Officer Examination  conducted by the IOB and cleared the examination with ease and joined as a Probationary Officer  in I.O.B in 1981.. Since the then there was no turning back.

An Unassuming and Outstanding Christian Medical Missionary of Emmanuel Hospital Association of India Dr. R. Panneer Selvam , M.B.B.S, M.D-F.C.A.M.S,.-- Part Final

Dr. R. Panneer  Selvam's  Enviable and Exemplary  Medical Service Trajectory  Immediately after having  successfully completed his M.B.B.S ;  Dr. R.  Panneer Selvam started his own Clinic at Malapuram , in Kerala.  Then he  married  Dr.J. Hepsibah in May 1987.. After marriage he and his wife   Dr Hepsibah Selvam started their  own Hospital by name , Christian Hospital, at karungaparai , in kerala .. With great devotion he was doing medical service to the people in and around Karungaparai. In 1989 Dr Panneeer Selvam and his wife moved to Vallioor and  started a new  Hospital  of their own by name , "JEEVA OLI "  at Vallioor, Tirunelveli District.  and had been  working in Jeeva Oli  Hospital [1989- 2000 ], with great enthusiasm till  he moved  with his family to Uttar Pradesh  in 2000.

Dr. Panneer Selvam and his wife unanimously decided to serve the people as Medical Missionaries : An inner voice was consistently speaking in the minds of Dr.Panneer Selvam   and Mrs.Dr. Hepsibah Panneeer Selvam, urging them to dedicate their service and life  as  Christian Medical Missionaries .So accordingly both of them  obeyed the inner call of  God  and decided  to dedicate their time and medical talent   as Christian Medical  Missionaries for the cause of medical service to the needy , poor and sick people.. So they hopefully and boldly closed their  own hospital at Vallioor and moved to U.P, to do medical service among  the much needed people in North India . So as Medical Missionary  Couple both Dr. Panneer Selvam and his wife Dr. Hepsibah Selvam with their children moved to Lalitpur in U.P and assumed the  responsibility in the Hamet Benson Memorial Hospital ,at Lalitpur , in UP state as Medical Superintendents in 2000. Dr Panneeer Selvam worked in the same Hospital  from 2000 to 2004 as Director of Chasinee AIDS project . Dr. Panner Selvam's cute  daughter Ms Jehosheba Selvam did her school education [2000-2004 ] in Lalitpur

Dr. Panneer Selvam moved to Maharastra in 2004 ;- As his service was  much needed in other parts of India also  he moved to Maharashtra with his wife and family and  worked at Umri Christain Hospital   [Free Methodist Church] ,   from 2004 to 2005 as its Medical Superintendent  in a laudable way. His wife Dr Hepsibah Selam also worked as a medical Doctor in the same hospital.

Dr. Panneer Selvam moved to Odisha State : God led him and his wife to various States in India . Dr. Panneer Selvam and his wife worked at the Gausner Evangelical Lutheran Church Hospital in Odisha [ Orissa] from 2005 to 2006 as Medical Missionary Doctors. in a fruitful way.

Dr. Panneer Selvam and his wife  returned to the Southern Parts of India  once again ; In tune with the call of God  Dr. Panneer Selvam with his  family moved to Kanyakumari District .Dr Panneer Selvam served  as a Medical Doctor at the famous C.S.I Hospital at Marthandam from 2006  to 2009. in a committed manner and earned the respect and love of the people in and around Marthandam town. He also had the privilege to serve at the famous Sneha Deepam Hospital at Trivandrum for one year. Dr. Panneer Selvam worked as a Medical Doctor at  the  famous ACMCE Hospital  at Padanthalmoodu for one year [2011- 2012 ].  It will apt to mention here that Dr. Panneer Selvam worked at the famous NIMS Hospital, Trivandrum from July 2011  to the end of the year  2011.

He  again moved to Lalitpur in UP : ; Dr Panneer Selvam  again moved to Lalitpur in U.P,  in November 2012 and started his work with the famous Hamet Benson Memorial   Hospital   [EHA ],  at Lalitpur, as a Medical Missionary Doctor  in 2013. After having  served for nearly one year Dr. Panneer Selvam moved to Madhya Pradesh with his wife and children to work as Senior Administrative Officer at the Lakkhanadon Christian Hospital [Emmanuel Hospital Association } , and he continued in the same Post till he moved to Jagdeeshpur, Chhttisgargh in April 2014. At present Dr. Panneer Selvam has been working as EHA Medical Missionary Doctor at the famous Seva Bhavan Hospital , Jagdeeshpur, in Chhattisgah State from April 2014  till date, with great devotion  and commitment.

Dr. Panneeer Selvam is  a deep Thinker and  talented  Writer :  Dr. Panneer Selvam has written some lovely and useful  Booklets and pamphlets in Tamil and also English. He has  so far written  13  Pamphlets/ Booklets,  in English and nearly 39 pamphlets including some Booklets  in Tamil on Christian themes.  His famous Booklet titled , "The living Joseph of this century whom I have seen ", is his masterpiece work; and in this booklet , he has written about  his father-in law late Elder and Brother P. Joseph of Nagercoil Horeb Assmbely.  Dr Panneer Selvam gives his sincere tribute to  Mr P. Joseph's exemplary christian  life and compares his father-in-law  Mr P. Joseph  with the great Joseph of the Old Testament.in a befitting style

Dr R.Pannerselvam is a great Christian Missionary, Evangelsit and Church Planter : As said earlier ,while Dr.R. Panneer Selvam was doing his second year M.B.B.S he accepted Christ as his personal Savior and Lord . Dr. R. Panneer Selvam follows Bible based Christianity  and he is an active a member  in  the Believers Assembly founded by late Bro Bakht Singh,  [others wise commonly called as , Brother Bakht Singh Assembly ],  since 1988.  he has founded many Christian churches [ House of Worships ]  He has planted a house of worship [Church ] by name Beersheeba  in Karungapara , in kerala State in 1988 together with late Elder Bro. P. Joseph. He  has also established another church by name Hebron at Vallioor  in 1989. He has planted many Churches in many places to cite a few we can say that he has started a Believers' Assembly in Lalitpur, U.P, in 2000, , he founded a Church by name Zion House of Prayer in 2009  at Marthandam,  in 2012 he planted another house of worship at Lalitpur , called , Hebron Fellowship;  in 2013 at Lakhaladon, in M.P Dr. Panneer Selvam planted a Church called Dhuma Hebron Fellowship .  in 2015 Dr. Panneer Selvam started a fellowship called Hebron Fellowship at Shakra in Chhttisgargh  and in the same year he planted another Church  called Zion Assembly , at Baludha in Chhattisgargh. . And in 2015 Dr. Panneer Selvam founded another Assembly of Believers called Hebron Assembly at Palcaradi in Chhattisgargh  and in 2016 he has started a church at the  Seva Bhavan Hospital Campus, in Chhattisgargh.. Really he is a man of Almighty God, his spontaneous and real concern for  people's earthly and eternal life is so  great and amazing .

Conclusion :   I can proudly say that Dr. R. Panneere Selvam is a man of God, a man of Prayer, he is a good believer, he is a real Medical Missionary, he is an outstanding and unassuming Christian  leader, a living witness to Jesus Christ;  his concern for the salvation of the perishing souls makes him an extraordinary  and exemplary man .I thank God for having given me an opportunity and privilege to meet Dr R. Panneer Selvam in person . The inspiration and enlightenment  that he gives to his fellow human-beings through his medical service and spontaneous care  will definitely  prove and proclaim that   Dr. R. Panneer Selvam, M.B.B.S, M.D-F.C.A.M.S, is a  living man of God . Of course he is really taller than my appraisals and estimates and he is nobler than my notes on him . I hope this profile on him will enlighten  and inspire many souls  to do selfless service for the cause of Christ . I can definitely say that and he is not only a milestone on earth but also he will  be an amazing milestone in Heaven also.  I thank God for Dr . R. Panneeer Selam and his wife and children . Mrs. Dr. J. Hesibah Paneer Selvam , M.B.B.S: and her Parents and Siblings:  I think it is pertinent and appropriate to give some  brief and basic information about Dr. Panneer Selvam's wife Dr.Hepsibah Panneer Selvam and her Parents and Siblings . Dr. R. Panneer Selvam's beloved wife Mrs Dr. Hepsibah Panneer Selvaam  did her High  School Studies at the famous Duthie High School , Nagercoil and her P.U.C at the famous  Women's Christian College.  Nagercoil . As she passed her P.U.C with very high marks she got admission for M.B.B.S course at Tirunelveli Government Medical College  and so she  pursued her M.B.B.S at Tirunelveli Govt Medical College and passed her  M.B.B.S  meritoriously .

Joseph and   Mrs. Pushpam Joseph  couple was  blessed with   four smart sons and four cute daughters namely :- [1] Mr. Jeba Kumar,[ 2] Ms. Dr. Hepsibah Panneer Selvam, [3] Mr. Abraham Gandhi, [4] Mr. Barnabas [  I think it would be useful to note here that Mr Barnabas's wife Mrs. Dr. Persis Barnabas, M.A, M.Phil , Ph.D [ English .Lit, ] worked as Principal of Bethel Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Ambur]  [5] Ms. Ruth, [6] Ms.Hannah , [7] Ms. Rebecca and [8]  Mr.Issiah Paul. Now Mr,Jeba Kumar and Ms. Hanna had passed away from this world  according to the will of God .Mrs. Dr. Hepsibah Panneer Selvam's father late Mr. Bro. P. Joseph was a God fearing man . Before settling at Nagercoil permanently he worked as a qualified  Staff  Nurse in the famous  Arabian American Oil Company [ARAMCO ], in Saudi Arabia  for many years..  Late Mrs Pushpam Joseph was also a God fearing woman with modest character and unassuming attitude  and she was a good Home Maker in all sense of the words. Mr. P. Joseph was one of the pioneer believers of the Horeb Fellowship at Nagercoil and to some extent we can say that he was one of the founding members of Horeb fellowship at  Water Tank Road, Nagercoil . 

Dr.R.Panneer Selvam and Mrs Dr. Hepsibah Panneer Selvam couple's Children:  Dr. R. Panneer Selvam   and Mrs Dr. Hepsibah Panneer Selvam are blessed  with  four smart handsome sons and one cute and brilliant daughter namely :- [1] Dr.John Selvam , M.D,{Russia ], and he has married Mrs. Dr. Sherina J.Santhosh  , M.B.B S,  [2] Er. Joshua Selvam, B.Tech, I.T, and he is married to Mrs.Jenifa Sam  , B.E, [3] Er. James Selvam, B.Tech, [ Aeronautical Engineering], [4] Mr.Job Selvam ,B.Sc {Biotechnoly ]  While he was doing his  B.Sc [ Bio Tech], in M.S University he was   the Gold Medalist in French .After his B.Sc[ Bio- Tech] he  changed his mind  and wanted to do M.B.BS  course and  now  he is doing his  4th year M.B.B.S, at the Weifang Medical University in China. . He is a talented Football Player  [5] Ms. Jehosheba Selvam  and she is doing her  final Year M.B.B.S at the  famous Weifang Medical University ,in China .. She has natural talent and aptitude for writing like her father Dr. Panneer Selvam .and she  writes in her Blog.

A Great Unassuming and Unsung Christian Medical Missionary Doctor of Emmanuel Hospital Association Of India Dr.R. Panneer Selvam , M.B.B.S, M.D-F.C.A.M.S,.-- Part A.

Introduction: Dr. R. Panneer Selvam, M.B.B.S, M.D - F.C.A.M.S, of Emmanuel Hospital Association of India ,  is an outstanding  Christian Medical Missionary Doctor in India. He is unassuming , composed, competent and compassionate  and  is doing a great medical service to the cause of the voiceless, marginalized  and money less poor and sick people of India and he stays  with  his family in a remote  and a little known Village  in Chhattisgarh State, North India . His dedication and his innate inclination to serve the helpless sick people is really laudable and noteworthy.  His natural love for the cause of poor people and the salvation of their  souls had molded  and made  him as an unique, remarkable, lovable  and respectable person . As an illustrious  son- in- law of Mr. P. Joseph  and Mrs Pushpam Joseph  couple of Nagearcoil ,  Dr.R. Dr. R. Panneer Selvam  and  his  Parents and Birth:  Dr. R. Panneer Selvam was born in an orthodox Hindu family at the historical  and famous town of Tanjore, [An ancient Capital of Chola Kingdom  during the reign of  the famous  Tamil King Raja Raja  Cholan , in the past} as the only son to his parents Mr.Raman and Mrs Rajammal Raman,  on 23rd June 1958. as the only child  to his parents.

Dr Panneer Selvam and his  enviable Education . Dr. R. Panneer Selvam  had been an intelligent student since his childhood.  He did his High School Studies at the famous Thanjavur Government High School Tanjore and passed his S.S.L.C Examination with very high marks and .he did his P.U.C at the famous A.V.C. College at Manampanthal [ Myladuthurai] in Naagapattinam District, Tamilnadu..  Dr. R. Panneer Selvam passed his P.U.C Examination with distinction  and applied for  M.B.B.S ; Dr. R. Panneer Selvam got admission for his M.B.B.S,  at the Tanjore Government Medical College,Tanjore . He did his M.B.B.S at Tanjore Govt Medical College [1977- 1983] and passed his final year  M.B.B.S examination meritoriously in 1983.  But here I would like to high Light one important event that is while  Dr. R. Panneer Selvam was doing  his Second Year M.B.B.S,  he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior

Dr. R. Panneeer Selvam did his M.D- F.C.A.M.S at the famous C.M.C, Vellore :;  His thirst for more medical skill and knowledge propelled Dr. Panneer Selvam to go for higher studies. Dr. R. Panneer Selvam got admission for his M.D, at the  famous Christian Medical College  Vellore and accordingly he pursued his M.D . course during the period from 1997 to 2000 at C.M.C, Vellore  and passed his MD  with flying colors in 2000. 

Dr. R. Panneer Selvam married Dr.J.Hepsibah  from Nagercoil  : Of course marriages are decided in heaven by the will of God , and  according to the will of God  Dr. R. Panneer Selvam  of Tanjore married Dr J. Hepsibah Thilagavathy, M.B.B.S . of Nagercoil on 25th May 1987 .  Mrs . Dr J. Hepsibah  Panneer Selvam  hails from  an illustrious and pious  Christian family from  Nagercoil . Mrs. Dr. Hepsibah Panneer Selvam  is a daughter of  late Mr. Josesph  and Mrs. Pushpam Joseph  couple of Nagercoil . . Mr. Joseph ,  his wife Mrs Pushpam Jeseph   and their  children were members of  Horeb , a House of Worship   started under the initiative of  Brother Bakth Singh  and his Christian  friends at  Water Tank Road, Nagercoil. .

Dr. S.R Banejee Jesudasn's Field of interest in Surgery  :_         No doubt Dr. S.R.Banerjee.. Jesudason is one of the most outstanding Surgeons in  India today  . Even though Dr. SRB Jesudason is a General Surgeon ,   his field of interest is Surgery of the Digestive System with special reference  to Colorectual and Hepatobiliary Surgery

Some High Lights on the Papers Presented by  Dr.S.R.B. Jesudason : . Dr. S.R Banerjee Jesudason had presented nearly twenty   notable Research Papers in  University level, State level , National level and International Conferences, Meetings  and Seminars.  To cite some we can say that  Dr. Sr. Banerjee Jesudason  had presented his Research Papers in the  36th [1976]  and 40th [1980], Annual Conferences of the Association of Surgeons of India . He had presented his Research Paper in the 23rd International  Biennial Congress of International College of Surgeons , held in Delhi in Feb 1982. He had also presented his Papers in the XXIII [ Oct 1982 ] and 24th [Oct 1983 ]Annual Conferences of Indian Society of Gastroenterology.. He  had also presented his outstanding Research Article in the World Conference of Gastroenterology held in Sydney, Australia in August 1990. Dr S.R.. Banerjee Jesudason had presented  his Research Paper at the Annual Conference of Indian Association for study of Liver [INASL] held in Mumbai in March 1998. . Dr. S.R Banerjee had also presented his Research Paper  in the 49th Annual Conference of International College of Surgeons , Indian section held in Chennai in September 2003 and so on . Thus Dr. S.R. Banerjee Jesudason  had the honor of presenting many valuable Research Papers in many important Medical Conferences and Meetings

His famous  Publications:-.   Some valuable and important Research Articles written by Dr. S.R. Banerjee Jesudason had been published in the Journal of the Christian Medical Association of India , Australian and New Zealand Journal of Surgery ,  The Indo European Medical Journal , Indian Journal of Nuclear Medicine ,  Journal of Gastroenterology,  Indian Journal of Radiology and Imaging,  British Journal of Surgery , Asian Journal of Surgery, Annals of the Royal college of Surgeons of England [ 79: 410-413, 1997 ]. etc,.

Dr.S.R. Banerjee Jesudason's Writngs have been included in the M.B.B.S Text Book :  Dr. S.R. Banerjee Jesudason's Article , on  "Abdominal Emergencies"  has been included in the Text Book of Surgery for  Undergraduates [Chapter 21, pp 425-457, Churchill Livingston Pvt Ltd, New Delhi, 1994 ]

Dr. S.R.B . Jesudason served as a Member of Editorial Board of a famous  Medical Journal ;- Dr. SRB Jesudason a served as an Editorial Board Member of the famous  Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterology [ 1992 &-1993 ] and continues to be on the Panel of Reviewers  / Referees for Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterolgy.

Some High Lights on His Medical Service  after  Superannuation from C.M.C:- By nature Dr. S.R. Banerjee Jesudason is an active person  and so he can not sit idle and so even after superannuation in 2005 , Dr.SRB Jesudason has associated himself with many medical Institutions and continues his medical Services He had worked as a Consultant Surgeon  at Scudder Memorial Hospital , Ranipet Schieffelin Leprosy Research and Training Centre from 1st July 2005 to 30th Sept 2006. He had also worked as Professor of Surgery at Amala Institute of Medical Sciences , Thirissur , Kerala from 11th Oct 2006  to 18th June 2010.  He had also served as Professor of Surgery at Pondichery Institute of Medical Sciences , Puduchery from 19th July 2010 to 30th April 2012. Dr. SRB Jesudason  had served as a Consultant Surgeon at Scudder Memorial Hospital, Ranipet from 1st Sept 2011 to 15th August 2016. At present Dr. S.R.Banerjee Jesudason  has been working as a Professor of  Surgery , Honorary at Southern Railway Head Quarters Hospital , Perambur , Chennai from 1st Jan 2008 to date . He also has been serving as Consultant Surgeon at C.M.C, Vellore from 8th September 2016 to date. Thus he has dedicated and devoted  his life  for the cause of medical service to the people.

Dr S.R. Banerjee Jesudason's Extra Curricular and Social Service Activities ::  Dr. S.R. Banerjee Jesudason  had served the Christian Mission Services, Coonoor, Nilgris for many years since 1999 and now he is serving C.M.S  [Coonoor ] as one of its Directors.. Dr. S.R Banerjee  Jesudason  had served as Vice Chairman/ Member of the Governing Council of Nilgris Christian Guest Homes Association , Coonoor Nilgris , India from 1994 for so many years..


Conclusion :  Dr. S.R. Banerjee Jesudason superannuated in June 2005 after more than 26 years of fruitful service  with CMC, Vellore ; he is remembered his efficacious administration and guidance in the establishment of 6  Speciality Units for the Department of Surgery in CMC, Vellore .. Dr. S.R. Banerjee Jesudason is one of the ablest and greatest Surgeons in India and world  today. and  also the First Liver Transplant Surgeon in CMC, Vellore  He is not only a great Surgeon , Professor but also he is a great human with compassion and willingness to serve the medical cause of poor and sick people . It is not easy  to cover  all aspects  and glorious accomplishment of such a great personality like Dr S.R.B Jesudason in a few pages. However after having written some pages about Dr.S.R Banerjee Jesudason I am proud of my privilege to write about him in my Blog . It is not easy to make a comprehensive estimate about his remarkable achievements as a Doctor, Administrator, Medical Researcher, Teacher ,  Christian Leader and as a great human-being  . I can say that Dr. SRB Jesudason  is extraordinarily intelligent and highly qualified , but very composed , simple always calm   with a sweet mesmerizing smile .   He wholeheartedly considered  it as a great privilege to serve the sick people by standing by their sick beds  with love , prayer and helping mind .  As a pioneer Liver Transplant Surgeon in India he has  earned   an indelible  place in the Surgical History of Christian Medical College, Vellore, Tamil Nadu  and India . Of course he is taller than all of my  appreciations and appraisals . I am glad  and proud  to remember that I had some privileges to chat with him on some occasions.
