Introduction .  Chief Security Officer of the Christian Medical College and CMC Hospital Vellore and former Deputy Superintendent of Police Mr. K. Sundaram, B.Sc, M.A, M.A, is an able Administrator, efficacious Police Officer,   Winner of Anna Gold Medal , Cycling Champion , Social Thinker  and honest and efficient retired Police Officer.  His honesty in public life , his natural thirst for knowledge, his concern for the common man , and his administrative capacity deserve our love and respect and his real life story will definitely galvanise  the younger generation and specially the youths hailing from rural background  to set and aspire high goals in life and to reach greater heights in education, profession and in real life .

Mr. K. Sundaram's Parents and Birth  :   Pillaikulam is  an arresting idyllic village in Nanguneri Block in Tirunelveli district , and in this beautiful village there lived a gentleman by name Mr.S. Subbaiah and he gave birth to the following children namely :- [1]  Mr. S.Arunachalaraja and [2] Mr.S. Kanagaraj and  I will deal with Mr S. Arunachalaraja concisely below. Mr. S. Kanagaraj married  Ms. Pushpam and Mr S. Kanagaraj and Ms Pushpam Kanagaraj couple gave birth to Mr K.  Sundaram on 17th December 1959 at Pillaikulam .  Mr. K. Sundaram's paternal grandfather Mr. S. Subbaiah worked as a Police Sergeant in the British  Government ..

[Grand father of  Mr. K. Sundaram [Rtd. DSP] late Mr. S. Subbaiah [ Police Sergeant , Police Dept, under British Govt ].

Mr.K.Sundaram's Father Mr. S. Kanagaraj's Elder Brother S. Arunachalaraja's family:  Mr. S.kanagaraj's elder brother was Mr.S. Arunachalaraja and I think it is appropriate to say some lines about Mr .S.Arunachalaraja  in the interest of readers and micro historians..Mr. S. Arunachalaraja married a smart lady by name Ms Rachel. Mr Arunachalaraja worked as a Police Constable for some years then he gave his Voluntary Retirement  from service notice [ VRS} and afterwards he served as a Document Writer . Mr Arunachalaraja and Ms Rachel Arunachalaraja couple gave birth to the following children namely  [1] Mr .Raja kamarajah , B.A and he served in the Tata Oils Co  Ltd , Mumbai [TOMCO] for many years . While serving in the Tata Oils Co  Ltd Mr Rajah Kamarajah was a great labour Union leader and also was  a powerful orator . During his School days Mr. Raja kamarajah was a great Student Union Leader. and  he had led many Anti Hindi Agitations. Mr. Raja kamarajah married Ms Padmini, a daughter of Mr Hariramakrishnan from krishnanputhur [it lies near Kanyakumari.].  Mr.  Raja kamarajah and Ms Padmini Raja kamarajah couple gave birth to the following children namely :-[a] Mr. George Washington, B.E[ IIT Bombay], MBA [ I.I.M , Calcutta ]. and he married Ms Rajasree, I.R.S , [b] Mr George Wellington , B.E , and he is working in a Shipping Company,  [2] Mr. Mathana kamarajah , [3] Ms Rani  [4] Ms Maha Rani, B.Sc [ Chemistry] and she worked in the Indian Railways for many years in a very efficacious way and retired as Divisional Manager. and she is married and blessed with two daughters namely [a] Ms. Priya, B.E, M.B.A and [b] Ms Princy, B.E,, [5] Mr. Yellapilla Rajah , [6] Mr. Chandra Gupta Rajah , B.Tech,[ N.I.T. Nagpur] and he worked in the Rashtrya Electrical and Engineering Corporation and retired as its General Manager. [7] Mr. Subbah Rajah, B.Tech, [ I.I.T, Madras], I.R.S,  and he worked as  Joint Commissioner of Customs for some years and due to some personal reasons  he gave his V.R.S and moved to Malaysia with family . Mr. Subbha Rajah B.Tech, I.R.S married Ms Rita. M.A, a daughter of Dr. Ondimuthu, MBBS, M.D, and Ms Nancy Ondimuthu . If I write about the children and  grandchildren  Mr S. Arunachala Rajah in details it will cover many pages .[ An Article will be written separately later about Mr.S. Arunachala Rajah and family ] 

Mr . K. Sundaram's Siblings.    :  Mr. S. Kanagaraja  married Ms Pushpam and  Mr. kanagaraja and Ms Pushpam kanagaraja couple gave birth  to the following children namely :[A]  Mr. K. Chithranjan  and he worked in the Police Department in Tamil Nadu  for many years with great dedication  and retired as Inspector of Police. Mr.k. Chithranjan married Ms . Kalai Selvei and Ms Kalai Selvi  worked as a  Government Middle School teacher . Mr K. Chithranjan and Ms Kalai Selvi Chithranjan couple gave birth to the following children namely :- [1] Mr. Raja Vallatharasu, B.E,  and now he works as a Petrol Bunk Dealer and also owns his own a Lorry Transport Company , [2] Mr Pappa, B.Tech [ N..I.T,  Nagpur]  and he is married and his son Amuthan , B.C.A is working in I.T. field, [3] Ms Kamma, B.E and she formerly worked as Migration officer, in Air Ports ,  the Airport  Authority of India for some years , and [4] Ms. Priyanka , B.B.A, M.B.A .[B] Mr. K. Sundaram   [ He is the hero of this article.]. Mr. S. kanagaraj married another wife from Penag,Malaysia  and the names of the Children born to Mr S.kanagaraj through his second wife are  : [1]Mr Raja Mannar, [2] Mr Cheran Chenguttuvan, [3] Ms Mangai Ammal, [4] Ms Kannaki, [5] Mr Thamil Vaannan . All of them are living  in Penang ,Epo , Malaysia.

Mr. K Sundaram's Educational Track      :Mr K. Sundaram did his Primary School education at the TDTA Primary School at his native place Pillaikulam and pursued his High School studies at the famous Sankar Reddiaar Govt High School at Nanguneri and he passed his S.S.L.C in the year 1978.and  after having passed his S.S.L.C with good marks he did his P.U.C at the famous St. John's College at Palayamkottai [ 1978- 1979 ] and passed his P.U.C in 1979 with high marks. Then Mr K Sundaram pursued his B.Sc[ Chemistry] at the Sadakathulla Appa College at Palayamkottai [1979.... 1982] and passed his B.Sc [ Chemistry] in Second  Class in 1982.. He did his M.A [ [Political Science] in the Madurai Kamaraj University and passed his M.A [ Political Science ]in the year 1984.  Later he passed his M.A[ Public Administration], through private study.

Mr. Sundaram was Selected as a Direct Sub Inspector of Police in the year 1987 : Mr. S. Sundaram, B.Sc. M.A  was selected as a Direct Sub Inspector of Police, Government of Tamil Nadu,in the year 1987.and he joined as a Law and Order Sub Inspector at the Adiyaman Kovil Police Station in Dharmapuri Dist and afterwards there was no turning back

Mr. Sundaram's Wife and Children   :  Mr. K. Sundaram, B.Sc. M.A, married Ms Shanthini. B.Sc , daughter of late Mr I. Victor M.A. B.T and Ms. Sugirtha Victor  on  28th May 1990 at Nagercoil [ [Ms. Shanthini B.Sc.is the sister of Writer and P.G. Assistant Mr. V. Irvin Mansingh, M.A, M.Ed, M.Phil ] Mr k Sundaram and Ms Shanthini Sundaram couple gave birth to the following children namely:-[1] Mr. Nile Chithranjan , B.E and currently he is doing his LL.B at the Law College Delhi, Delhi University and also preparing for his Civil Service, examination, [2] Ms Suvima Pushpanjali [Alias Nila] she has passed her Plus Two and is preparing for her NEET examination . After marriage Mr k Sundaram galvanised and encouraged his wife  Ms. Shanthini  Sundaram to  do some higher studies and accordingly Ms Shanthini did her higher studies and has added the following degrees after her name as. Ms. Shanthini Sundaram , B.Sc, M.A, LL.B.

Mr K Sundaram's professional Career in the Police Department    : Mr. K Sundaram joined the Police department as a Direct  Sub Inspector of Police  in the year 1987 and discharged his official duties with enviable efficiency and honesty  and he was promoted as Inspector of Police in the year 1999 and was posted at the Ambur Town Police Station and he was discharging his duties with great integrity and efficacy and he was promoted as Deputy Superintendent of of Police in the year 2000 and posted as the D.S.P of Jeyangondan Sub Division in the Ariyalur District. . He had served as DSP of Gudiyatham Subdivision, and  Vaniyambadi Subdivision, with great devotion, integrity and efficiency and  after long illustrious service in the Police Department he  retired  in December 2017 as Deputy Superintendent of Police .

                     Chief Security Officer of CMC  Mr. K. Sundaram, B.Sc, M.A, M.A,.

Mr. K. Sundaram Serves as the Chief Security officer of the Christian Medical College Vellore ::  Since 2018 Mr K. Sundaram has been working as the Chief Security Officer of the Christian Medical College, Vellore,  CMC Hospital Vellore  CMC Hospital Campus at Chitoor, CMC Hospital at Ranipet, and Rosa Hospital at KV Puram with enviable  efficacy and dedication.  Nearly 1000 Personnels are working under the administrative control of Mr. K Sundaram .  He has been working as an efficacious and honest  Chief Security of   C.M.C , C.M.C. Hospital , etc,.

Conclusion   :  Retired D.S.P Mr K. Sundaram, B.Sc, M.A, M.A,  was one of the very efficacious and honest Police Officers in Tamil Nadau.  While working  as a Police Officer he had the privilege to  undergo National Security  Training and had worked as Security Officer for the VIPs and VVIPs with great efficacy and caution  . Mr K Sundaram also had served as Personal Security Officer in the Indian  Parliament. . Mr Sundaram had the privilege to serve  in the Bomb Detection and Disposal  Squad  after having special training in this field. .  In recognition of his brave action against the  Naxalites, Mr. K. Sundaram was  honoured with the prestigious Anna Gold Medal by the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Mr M. Karunanidhi in 2007 . Mr Sundaram was a great Cycle Race Champion while studying in Sadakathulla Appa College in Palayamkottai he won the 25 K.M cycle race two times.     He  leads a very simple life  but with very high ideals and goals.  He is unassuming, honest, he is compassionate towards the poor people and he is a good micro historian.  .  He  is  blessed with good  communicative skill , and he loves his family members and relatives very much and guide them with good advice.  He hails from one of the highly educated families in Tirunelveli district . He is blessed with a beautiful  family and now he resides in Vellore with his  beloved wife and blissful children .  It is not possible to  cover all the aspects and chapters of his prolific  life within the  space of this Article . Introduction   :  Late  Mr. Ivan Shelley, B.E, was a remarkable man and a multifaceted  personality.  He was a great Artist, Architect, Sculptor, Social Thinker, Companion of the Companion-less,  Singer, and State level Best Artist Award Winner and his prolific profile will definitely galvanise and fill  the  minds of the  Readers,  and the younger generation with high ideals,  aesthetic taste, creative spark , brainstorms  and inspire  to lead a fruitful, meaningful and trailblazing life .

Mr Ivan Shelley's Parents and Birth   :    Long time ago there lived a gentleman by name Mr Velayutham in Nagercoil and when he accepted Christ  as his saviour his name was changed as Mr Vethanayagam. Mr Vethanayagam married Ms Paramayi and this  couple gave birth to Mr V. Isaac . Mr. V. Isaac married Ms Perinba Muthu Chellammal and this couple gave birth to Mr I. James Robert and  Mr.I. James Robert married Ms Agnes and this couple shifted to Vadakkan Kulam in Tirunelvel District from Nagercoil  on account of their employment in Concordia Higher secondary  School at Vadakkan Kulam, and they were working in the Concordia higher Secondary School Vadakkankulam as Drawing Master and Drill Teacher respectively  . Mr . James Robert  and Ms Agnes  James Robert couple gave birth to Mr. J.R. Ivan Shelley, B.E  on 6th September 1968 in Nagercoil.. Mr James Robert and Ms.Agnus J. Robert couple gave birth to a female child also by name Ms J.R. Cynthia  Dharmaraj. B.Sc.

Mr. Ivan Shelley's Educational Track   : Mr. J.R. Ivan Shelley did his education up-to Plus Two ,at the famous Concordia Higher Secondary School at Vadakkankulam in Tiriunelvelli district.. . After having passed his Plus two examination in 1983 with high marks Mr J.R. Ivan Shelley pursued his B.E.[ Civil]  at the famous Indian Engineering College at Vadakkankulam and passed his B.E,[ Civil] in the year 1989. 

Mr. J.R. Ivan Shelley's Wife and Children   :  Mr Ivan Shelly met Ms. K.Suseitha inside the Indian Engineering  College,Vadakkankulam campus  and they were mutually attracted and their sincere love united them in marriage  . Ms Suseitha is also a great Architect, Artist,  and Sculptor like  Mr. Ivan Shelley.  Mr. J.R.Ivan Shelly married his College mate Ms. K. Suseitha .B.E, on the 8th November 1992 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church , Thoothukudi.  God blessed this romantic couple with all the connubial  blessings and this couple gave birth to the  following children namely : [1] Ms. Anisha  Percy Jesinth, B.Arch  and she is married to  Mr. H. Davidson Dhas . B.E[ Aeronautical Engineering , Sathyabama University, Chennai] , M.S,[ Engineering Management, U.K ], [2] Mr Judha Benhur after having passed his  B.Tech [Bharathidhasan University, Trichy ], he pursued his  M.Tech at the same  Bharathidhasan University, Trichy and passed his M.Tech in 2022 and  secured Second Rank in the University.  Currently Mr Judha benhur is  working at the National Institute of Ocean Technology [ N.I.O.T] , Chennai,  as a  Project Scientist and it is learned that Mr Judha Benhur is the youngest Scientist  working in N.I.O.T in the whole of India and [3]  Ms Aaradhana  and she  is doing B.Sc [ Music] ..  

Mr j.R.Ivan Shelleys' Engineering and Artistic Career Track .  Mr Ivan Shelley worked as a Civil Engineer, Architect, Artist and Sculptor . All his pencil Drawings, Oil and Water Paintings , Embossing Arts, and other Mode of Art Creations,  exhibit  his artistic and  aesthetic creativity. He was a great Architect also and  the Buildings and houses that he planned and constructed candidly speak about his high level imagination and creative excellence.  He was an expert in Metal Embossing Art work also

Mr. Ivan Shelley made excellent  Portraits  by using Burnt Safety Match Sticks.:  By using burnt safety match sticks Mr Ivan Shelley had made many mind blowing portraits of great people. and leaders  The picturesque Portraits made by Mr Ivan Shelley by using  burnt safety match sticks won the appreciation from various nooks and corners of the country. The Portrait of Jesus made by Mr. Ivan Shelley by using burnt safety match sticks  won the First Prize,  in the Poompuhar State Award Contest conducted by the Tamil Nadu Handicraft Development Corporation Ltd  and he received the  State Level Award [ First Prize]  from the then Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Ms. J. Jaya lalitha in 2004.  In addition to the above said prize,   the portrait of Jesus made by Ivan Shelley by using the burnt safety sticks  won the appreciation of  the then Additional District and Sessions Judge, Thuthukudi Distrcit Mr N. Retnaraj , B.Sc, B.L. Moreover  Rev Suseshamuthu the then Director of  Christian Media Centre , Chennai was immensely impressed by  the artistic appeal of  the portrait of Jesus made by Ivan shelley by using burnt safety match sticks, gladly  used  this Portrait of Jesus  as cover picture of the Christian Media Centre's magazine Vanmalar and the cover  portrait  of Jesus won the spontaneous applause of hundreds of the readers of the Vanmalar magazine and  Rev Suveshamuthu wrote an Appreciation letter to  Mr Ivan Shelly and congratulated him profusely.

Mr J.R. Ivan Shelley was appreciated by the Former Honourable  P.M of India Sri .Rajiv Gandhi: :   Making the portraits of Leaders was a passion to Mr Ivan Shelley and accordingly he made the Portrait of the honourable Former Prime Minister  of India Sri. Rajiv Gandhi by using 5500 burnt safety match sticks and presented to Sri Rajiv Gandhi during his visit to kanyakumari District at Nagercoil town, after having gone thorough strict security Check Up by Delhi Police .

In addition Mr Ivan Shelley also sent by Post a beautiful photo copy of a portrait of Mrs. Indra  Gandhi made by him using burnt safety match sticks to Mr Rajiv Gandhi and this photo copy of the Portrait of Mrs Indra Gandhi  on receipt, was spontaneously and greatly  appreciated  by Sri Rajiv Gandhi. Sri. Rajiv Gandhi sent a Letter of Appreciation to Mr Ivan Shelley.  I will quote one or two sentences here, from the Letter of Appreciation written by Mr Rajiv Gandhi to Mr Ivan Shelley. . " I was deeply touched to receive your letter in which you have sent me a portrait you have made of late Smt. Indra Gandhi using only burnt safety match sticks. I must congratulate you on your extremely innovative and indeed unique effort . I was happy to learn that the portrait is kept in your college auditorium. It was always nice to hear from young persons like you doing professional course like engineering. It is ultimately our youth who will lead our country to ever increasing progress and prosperity. " 

No words can candidly recognise the artistic excellence ad efficacy of Mr Ivan Shelly than these above written lines of  former Prime Minister of India Mr Rajiv Gandhi  .

              

 

Mr. Ivan Shelley was a Great Architect and Sculptor   ;As already said above Mr Ivan Shelley was a great Building Planner and Architect and he had the opportunity  to plan and construct some  beautiful privately owned houses in Nagercoil city in his unique style. He was the Architect of the striking and spectacular  Nursing College Building in Catherine Booth Hospital and the newly Built Head Quarters Building of the India South Eastern Territory in Nagercoil   He was a  Sculptor also Mr. J.R. Ivan Shelley had sculpted the magnificent  Dr.Ambedkar Statue that  stands majestically in front of the District Court in Thoothukudi.city . 

Conclusion    :  Mr. J.R. Ivan Shelley was a born Artist, Artisan , Architect  and a worthy Scion of a famous family of Artists.   He was a great and talented Singer also. The unkind, untimely and unexpected mortal death of Mr J.R. Ivan Shelley,on  21 march 2023 had snatched away a brilliant artist and a multi-faceted personality and a  compassionate human being from this world.  Mr J.R . Ivan Shelley was a great Social Thinker and  he was a great Social Activist during his college days.  He was an Egalitarian and  believed that all human beings are born equal with some inalienable fundamental basic  rights  to live with dignity and freedom.  He was very kind towards the poor people. Not only his Artistic creations were beautiful his mind too was very beautiful . He was blessed with natural aesthetic sense, he was a  lover of nature and he was a very talented Photographer .  He was a God fearing man and he was blessed with a loving wife and affectionate intelligent children and a cute grandchild.  The Jaycees Club of  kanyakumari selected Mr Ivan Shelley as the best Youth of the Year and honoured him in  1989. . It is not possible to record all  the aspects and  chapters of his enviable life story and accomplishments within the space of this Article . So I  will end this Article with the following sentence,. Kalai Punithan's Parents and Birth    : Mankuzhy is a beautiful idyllic village in Thakalay Taluk in Kanyakumari district and it is located near the ancient historical town called Eraniel and in this beautiful Mankuzhy village there lived a great Dramatist and Writer by name Mr  A. Samuel [ Eraniel kalai Thozhan ] with his smart and modest wife Ms Grace Sundara Bai  and this blessed couple gave birth to Dr. kalai Punithan on the 8th April 1968  at Mankuzhy in Kanyakumari District.  It will be appropriate to say a line about Dr. kalai Punithan's father late  Nadaka kalai Vaenthan Mr Eraniel kalaithozhan  [Mr A. Samuel] and Eraniel kalai Thozhan  was a great Dramatist, Writer and Journalist  of very high order and creative  calibre.

Dr. Kalai Punithan's Educational Track  :   Dr. S.  Kalai Puthan has an enviable educational track. He did his Primary School [ 1st Std to 5th Std ] education at St Xavier;s High School at Mankuzhy and did his 6th Std at the Salvation Army Higher Secondary School at Vettoornimadam Nagercoil . Then he pursued his vii to xii standards at the Government Higher Secondary School at Eranieal . After having passed his Plus Two examination with high arks he pursued his B.Com degree Course at the prestigious Scott Christian College Nagercoil [1985--1988] and passed his B.Cm  meritoriously . And then he did his M.A[ History ] at the Madurai Kamaraj University and passed his M.A [ History] in 1990.   He is blessed with  inherent  thirst for knowledge and so he did 26  Master of Arts Degree courses in various subjects in various universities in India and now his 26 M.A degrees decorate and enlighten  his Educational Cap. Dr. Kalai Punithan did his M.Phil [ History ]  at the famous Madurai Kamaraj University and passed his M.Phil research Course with flying colours. Mr A. Deva Kanakaraj's Siblings    : Mr A. Ananda Prather and Mrs. Taruna Prather couple gave birth to the  following children namely :[1]  Ms. A. Anaharani  and she married Mr Niruban [ late], And Mrs Anaharani and Mr. Niruban couple's son Mr John Edwards had the privilege to work  as an Assistant General Manager of Muscat Automobile Company in Muscat[2]  Mr. A. Deva  Kanakaraj [ He is the Hero of this Article, [3 ] Mrs. Vimala Rajakumari and she married Mr. Royce Christopher , and [4] Mrs, Elizabeth Rani and she married Mr Robert Chelliah. 

Mr Deva kanakaraj's Early Educational Track  ;   Mr. KanakaRaj did his Primary School education  and High School education at the TVS Sundaram Iyengar High School in Madurai. He passed his S.S.L.C. Examination in the year 1973 ,Then Mr Deva KanakaRaj pursued his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering [ D.M.E]  at the Govt Polytechnic College in Madurai and passed his  Diploma in Mechanical Engineering [  D. M.E ] in First Class. in the year 1976.

His Professional Career  and Aeronautical Training .     :   After having passed his  D.M.E in First Class Mr A. Deva Kanakaraj  joined Madura Coats as a Junior Engineer Trainee and successfully completed his one year [1976- 1977]  Training period . Afterwards.as an innovative thinker Mr A. Deva Kanakaraj started a self financed micro engineering Business along with  two of his friends in 1978. and they marketed Textile Machine Spares etc and also they did erection of  Textile Machines . [1978- 1979]. Then Mr Deva kanakaraj  joined  the Karkit Company as a Sales Promotion Engineer in Madras and worked in the Karkit company for nearly one year [ 1989-  1980] , And during this period his job was to visit and meet all the State Transport Undertakings in Tamil Nadu and  to market the automobile products manufactured by the Karkit company . Karkit Company was a sister Automobile concern of T.V.S. and  Karkit Company was a pioneer  Manufacturing Company of Automobile Equipment.. His natural quest for progress galvanised  Mr. Deva kanakaraj to leave  the Karkit company in 1980 and after resigning his job in Karkit he decided to move from  Automobile Engineering to Aeronautical Engineering and accordingly  Mr A. Deva Kanakaraj joined the Air India as an Aircraft Trainee Technician.in Bombay[ Mumbai].. After having completed  his Training period,  he worked in the Air India for nearly 7 years and gained a lot of expert knowledge as an Aircraft Technician and left Air India as a Senior Aircraft Technician in 1987.    In 1987 Mr Deva kanakaraj joined Cathy Pacific Airways , Hong Kong  as an Aircraft Technician  and continued in this job only for a very short period of time and left the job for some personal reasons. .Then Mr Deva kanakaraj  attended an Interview conducted by the Kuwait Airways in 1987 and he was selected and  in 1987 and  he assumed his duty as Aircraft Technician at Kuwait Airport in 1987 and he was doing well  and he was promoted as an Authorised Aircraft Technician in 1994  and continued in this position till 2000. 

Mr Deva kanakaraj and his Marraige  :  Marriages are made in heaven and in tune with the truth of this sentence Mr Deva Kanakaraj married Ms Shanthi Christhudas,  a daughter of Lt Col. Christhudhas and ms. P. Mariamuthu  on the 4th September 1989 at Nagercoil.. Ms Shanthi Christhudas served not only as a qualified Staff Nurse but also she played a vital role in the progress and development of Mr. Deva kanakarj and  her contribution is always  recognised by Mr  A. Deva kanakaraj.

His Educational and Training Track in Aircraft Engineering  :   In line with his thirst for learning new things,.and subjects, Mr Deva  Kanakaraj did many Aircraft Maintenance related Technical  Courses.  While serving in Air India he did his Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course and passed the same in 1982. and he also passed the Boeing 747 Airframe Technician Course examination in 1982. Mr. Deva kanakaraj also passed the concerned exam and received his Radio and Telephonic Aeromobile Licence from the Ministry of  Communication , Govt of India in the year 1984. While working in Air India. 

His Professional track in Airways   : Mr A. Deva kanakaraj worked as Aircraft Technician in Air India in  Bombay and his official assignment was to carry out the maintenance of  Boeing 707 and Boeing 747 Aircrafts.  .Then he left the job in Air India and joined the famous Cathy Pacific Airways as Station Mechanic- Technician  and his assignment and responsibility was to handle the maintenance work of the  Cathy Pacific Boeing 747 Aircrafts,  From Cathy Pacific Airways he  shifted to Kuwait Airways and assumed charge at the  Kuwait Airport as Air Craft Maintenance Technician and his assigned official responsibility was to handle the Maintenance work of various kinds of Air Crafts like Boeing 727, 747 767,Airbus 300, A310, A320, etc,.  As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician  Mr Deva Kanakaraj was working with great efficacy and devotion . In 2000 he was transferred to U.A.E as Station Engineer and as Station Engineer  his official responsibility was  to handle the maintenance and other assigned  works in  all the Airports in U.A.E and  with great efficacy  Mr A. Deva Kanakaraj  had been discharging  his duties and responsibilities  as Station Engineer  till 2003.. In 2003 he resigned his job from Kuwait Airways and joined Qatar Airways and joined Qatar Airways as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and he was in charge of the maintenance of the Extended Twin Engine Operations[ ETOPS] . As usual Mr Deva kanagaraj was discharging his responsibilities with great efficacy and he was promoted as Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in 2006.  As Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer he was responsible for identifying and rectifying problems and defects and defects analysing and interpreting technical procedures, schematic engineering, manuals, diagrams, and publications.  As Senior Maintenance Engineer he was responsible  to approve Authorisation Holder for issuing Certificate of Release to Service for different types of Air-crafts , In short as Senior  Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Mr .A .Deva kanakaraj was responsible for ensuring an Aircraft's Operation properly and safely .  He was also in- charge of the Administration, Supervision , Training and conduct of Examinations, and interviews for Technicians, Engineers and Air Technicians, and also Auditing of Airports,  Technical Auditing for Air-crafts and maintenance of Airports . Mr A. Deva kanakaraj as Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Qatar Airways discharged all of his assigned official and technical responsibilities in an exemplary manner and style and retired  from Qatar Airways in 2018..

She produced 100 % results and consequently she was  promoted as the H.O.D of B.C.A department and there also she produced 100% results and some University rank holders   Then she did quit her H.O.D  post and joined as a Teacher in the I.E.L.C,  Higher Secondary School at Bargur and brought many Medals, Shields and Awards to the School and Students in the Exhibitions conducted in  Zonal level, District level, and State level. In 2012 Ms Glory Rosaline competed in Teachers Category, Science Exhibition, Southern India and  won prizes . As a result she was called to present her Project in I.C.T  Exhibition ,  and her Project on  Pollution and Environment attracted the attention of  all   and she was selected by the Judges to the First place in Tamil Nadu . Ruby Metilda Jesunesam, B.Sc, M.B.B.S, [ generally she is called as Dr. Ruby Samuel ] is an unsung Achiever, a dedicated medical Doctor, an unassuming woman and a God fearing lady .  Her real life story , her  service to the cause of the ailing people and medical service and her amiable traits will definitely galvanise the readers of this Article and the younger generation to lead a meaningful and hopeful life

                                             Ms. Dr. S. Ruby Metilda Jesunesam, B.Sc, M.B.B.S,.

Dr. Ruby's Parents and her Birth    :  Some decades ago there lived two God fearing souls in Kanyakumari District namely Mr. Y. Samuel and  Ms. M. Hepsibah Pushpam and both of them were working as officers in the Salvation Army and Mr Y.Samuel and  Ms. M Hepsibah Pushpam couple gave birth to  Dr. Ruby Metilda Jesunesam on the 14th April 1941 at Nagercoil . Mr. Y. Samuel was a son of Mr Abel Yesunesan of Ikkyapuram and Ms Packiam of Navalkad and Ms M. Hepsibah Pushpam of Osaravillai and Ms Hepsibah Pushpam  was a daughter of Dr. Packianathan Theresar of Osaravillai village. Ms Hepsibah Pushpam's maternal grandmother migrated to India from Burma during the first world War.

Dr. Ruby's Sibling and Family   : Mr. Y. Samuel and Ms M. Hepsibah Pushpam couple gave birth to the following children namely : [1] Dr. Ruby Metilda Jesunesam [ The Heroine of this Article ] and [2] Ms Ivy Grace Packiam and she is a Staff Nurse and she has married Mr A. Dharma Raj Philip [Ex Indian Army ] and this couple gave birth to the following children namely :[1]  Mr. Victor Sam Philip [Working in Abu Dhabi ], [2] Ms. Christina Philip, M.Sc [ Nursing ] and she  is working in Canada and [3] Mr Arul Santhosh Philip, M.Sc [ Perfusion] and he  is working  in U.K.

Dr. Ruby Metilda Jesunessam's educational Track   :  Ms. Ruby Metilda Jesunesam did her Elementary education up-to 3rd class at the S.A. Primary School in  Nagercoil and she did her 4th and 5th classes at the Gundukadu LMS Primary School located near Museum in Trivandrum. and then she did her 1st Form , 2nd Form , 3rd Form 4th Form and 5th Form at the Thuckalay Govt High School . Ms Ruby Metilda Jesunesam did her S.S.L.C class in two Schools namely the Government  High School at Kanyakumari and S.M.R.V High School Nagercoil and passed her S.S.L.C in the year 1956. . Then after having passed her S.S.L.C, Ms Ruby Metilda Jesunesam did her P.U.C at the famous Maharaja College for Women in Trivandrum and passed her P.U.C meritoriously. After having passed her P.U.C, she pursued her B.Sc [ Chemistry] at the prestigious Scott Christian College Nagercoil and passed her B.Sc {chemistry] in the year 1960.. After having passed her B.Sc[ Chemistry] she got the privilege to work in  the Physiotherapy Department in C.B.H in Nagercoil for nearly 2 years. .Ms Ruby Metilda Jesunesam was commissioned as an officer in the Salvation Army and finished her officer's training  successfully in 1963 [ From August 1962 to may 1963 ].. Ms Ruby Metilda Jesunesam joined at the prestigious Christian Medical College Vellore  as a first year  M.B.B.S student in August 1964 and  Ms Ruby Metilda Jesunesam passed her M.B.B.S  course in the academic year 1971-72 and completed her House Surgeon  training  in C.M.C in 1972.

Dr Ruby Metilda Jesunesam's  Professional Track   : After having passed her M.B.B.S, Dr. Ruby Metilda Jesunesam joined the famous Catherine Booth Hospital in Nagercoil as a Medical Officer in the year 1973. and worked till 1980 in the same Hospital . Then she was transferred to the S.A. Nidubrolu Hospital in Andra Pradesh in 1980 and in this new Hospital she worked with great dedication till 1982. In 1982 Dr Ruby Metilda  Jesunesan was transferred to the S.A Leprosy Hospital Varikoli  at .Puthenkrutz in Cochin.and worked in this Hospital with devotion and showed great compassion for the patients.. .In 1983 Dr. Ruby Metilda Jesunesan  was transferred to the Kazhathumell S.A Hospital at Kattakadai.and  she worked in this Hospital till 1991 with much enthusiasm and dedication and in 1991 Dr. Ruby Samuel  joined at the Catherine Booth Hospital Nagercoil  as a Medical Officer and subsequently she was promoted as a Senior Medical Officer and she worked with great devotion till her retirement in May 1998.  After her retirement from C.B.H she worked in the James Hospital, Colachel  as a medical Officer  for about 7 years [2000- -2007 ]. Then Dr Ruby worked as a Medical Officer at the Trust Hospital in Nagercoil under Dr. Vimala with great commitment for near 2 years. Now she lives her retirement life in her own peaceful style in her own house at Victory Lane, near Vettoornimadam  in Nagercoil with content, peace and joy. ..

Conclusion     :  Dr Ruby Metilda Jesunesam, B.Sc, M.B.B.S,  is a remarkable lady and a devoted Medical worker .  She is unassuming and very compassionate  towards the needy and ailing  people.  Many of her classmates and college-mates in C.M.C are doing very well in life and had decorated high places in Medical field for example, Ms..Dr. Joyce Ponnaiya [ A Former Director of C.M.C ,Vellore, and President of the Christian Medical Association of India ] was Dr. Ruby's M.B.B.S classmate . Dr. Ruby Samuel  is very simple, easily accessible and she never expected any recognition for her services but recognition and appreciation had come to her unexpectedly. The famous James Hospital at Colachel had aptly recognised and honoured Dr. Ruby Samuel , M.B.B.S with an appreciation Award on the occasion of the Celebration of the World Women's Day Celebrations on 8-3- 2002, in recognition of her  Distinguished Service Rendered to Society and this Appreciation  Award was presented to her by Dr, Mrs, Jaideep Mahendra , M.D.S, w/o Mr Gagan Deep Singh Bedi , I.A.S, the then honourable  Collector, Kanyakumari District. Very recently another significant feather was added to her cap .  The international Head of the Salvation Army General Brian Peddle bestowed upon Maj Dr. Ruby Samuel , " The Order of the Founder ' [The highest International Salvation Army Award ]on the 16th day of January in the year of our Lord, Two Thousand and Twenty Three and directed that her name  be inscribed on the Roll of the Order. This honour was bestowed upon Dr. Ruby Samuel as a recognition for  her dedicated Service in honour of high quality of work in Medical and Social Services . Indeed it is an excellent  international recognition for Dr. Ruby Samuel  Dr Ruby will live in the hearts of people for her humility, pleasant smile, compassion,  honesty. and God fearing life. Introduction   :  Former District and Sessions Judge Mr P. D Dharma Raj, B.A, LL.B, is an unsung hero, unassuming gentleman, a brilliant Advocate, honest Judge  and a great  Soul. . He is not only a Dreamer and but also is an Achiever on the basis of  his laudable accomplishments of his  lofty goals.  He has effectively instilled hopes in the minds of the youth  hailing specially from the lower  middle class and marginalised sections of the society  . . His real life story will definitely galvanise many youth  to set  high goals and to lead a meaningful  and honest life. 

  

Former District Judge  Mr. P.D .Dharma Raj, B.A, L.L.B.

Mr. P.D Dharma Raj's Parents and Birth         Parasala is a beautiful tiny  town in Trivandrum District in Kerala state , and some decades ago  in this Parasala  town there lived a gentleman by name Mr. Mathai David with his beloved wife by name Ms D. Rajamma and  Mr.M. David and Ms Rajamma David couple gave birth to Mr P..D. Dharma Raj  [ The Hero of this Article ] on the 15th December, !952 at Parasala.  Mr. M David worked in the Khadhi and Village Industries Corporation { Govt of India ] and retired  Mr. David's maternal grandfather Mr A. Daniel was one of the founders of the Bible Faith Mission in Travancore State and also Mr.A Daniel  had the privilege to rub shoulders with the late Rev Charles Ragaventhachari and  Rev D. M. Devasahayam, B.A, B.D, [ Mr. D.M Devasahayam was a native of Nagercoil and the first B.D graduate from the Serampur University in the whole of India ] the founders of the Bible Faith Mission, in Travancore State . Mr A. Daniel was serving as a Teacher and Pastor. .

Mr. P.D. Dharama Raj's Educational Track  :   . Mr. P.D Dharma Raj did his Lower Primary School Studies at the Government Lower Primary School at Althottam in Parasala town and then  pursued his High School studies at the famous Evans High School at Parasala.   After having passed his S.S.L.C Mr P.D. Dharmaraj did his Pre Degree Course at the famous M.G. College  in Trivandrum. . After his Pre-degree he pursued his B.A[ Economics] at the famous  University College in Trivandrum [ 1971 to 1974 ] and passed his B.A, { Economics] in the year 1974.  After having passed his B.A, degree , Mr P.D Dharma Raj pursued his LLB course at the Kerala Law Academy Law College Trivandrum [!974-- 1977] After having passed his L.L.B Mr P.D Dharma Raj registered himself as an Advocate and started to practise in 1978. as an Advocate at the Court at Neyyatinkara.

Mr.P.D. Dharamaraj's Wife and Children    :   Mr. P. D. Dharma Raj , B.A, L.L.B  married Ms N. Pushpa Devi, M.Sc[ Dairy], daughter of Mr Navamani from karcaud village in  Kanyakumari district, in January 1989... Mr Navamani worked in the Agriculture Department , Govt of Tamil Nadu .. Ms Pushpa Devi, M.Sc, hails from an illustrious family from Kanyakuamri Distrct. Mr P.D. Dharma Raj and Ms Pushpa Devi Dharma Raj couple's conjugal life is blessed with all the connubial blessings and this couple gave birth to the following children namely :[1] Mr. P.D. Vijayendra  Raj,  B.Tech, and he is married to Ms Santhiya, M.A [ Eng. Lit ],and [2] Mr P.D. Ajay, and he is doing his LLB final year in  a Law College in  Trivandrum .

 

Mr. P.D. Dharma Raj's Professional  Track   In the year  1987 Mr. P.D Dharma Raj, B.A, L.L.B,  was appointed as a Munsiff at the Court at Thodupuzha and after having served as Munsiff for nearly 5 years, .in the year 1992 he was promoted as Sub-Judge and posted at Kozhikodu Court ,. He was discharging his official duties with great integrity and efficacy and he was promoted as District Judge in the year 2001 and he was posted as Judge { District Judge grade] at the  M.A.C Tribunal Court at  Allepy.  Mr.P.D. Dharama Raj  had the privilege to work in various Courts in different places  , he had the privilege to work as District Judge grade  Judge at the Kerala Co-operative Tribunal Court at Trivandrum, . In the year 2008 Mr. P.D Dharma Raj was promoted as Selection Grade District Judge and posted at the  District Court at Calicut. In 2011 Mr. P.D Dharma Raj was promoted as Super Time Scale District Judge and posted at the District  Court at Mavelikarai. In 2012 he was transferred to the District  Court at Vayanad to serve as the District and Sessions Judge, and while serving as Districtand Sessions  Judge at the  Vayanadu District Court he got his official retirement from the  Judicial Service in 2012 . But he was given a rare privilege even after his retirement  to serve as Judge at the Family Court at Kasarkodu for two years  and in 2014  he was relieved from this Family Court judicial assignment. 

Conclusion  : After his retirement  from judicial Service Mr P.D Dharma Raj, B.A, L.L.B, has been practising as an Advocate at the Kerala High Court at Ernalulam with great enthusiasm , energy and expert legal knowledge . His honesty, integrity and expert legal wisdom  were well appreciated and recognised  and as a result  he got the rare opportunity to serve as Law Officer at the Devasam Board in Trivanrum from September  2019 for a short span of time  till he resigned in 2020 . Currently he is practising as an Advocate in the Kerala High Court. .Mr. P.D .Dharma Raj is honest , unassuming, down to earth , and he is an egalitarian. and a companion of companion-less     I cannot accommodate  all the aspects and accomplishments of his life story within this Article.
